We scheduled a meeting for today to go over my 2022 return and my 2023 forecast. She spent 2-hours going over everything in detail. She did such a great job of it! I feel completely informed and so much more confident. Prior to our doing that, she also took the time to address my Yelp comments. She'd definitely took my comments to heart and used them as an opportunity to improve how she will interact with new clients. Nabil was great when we started working with him late 2021, very responsive and prompt. When he filed our taxes this year, the experience started to degrade. We had to follow up with him to find out whether the taxes had been filed after we shared the requested docs mid February. They were not done till we followed up, and only filed in April. And then, we were surprised to find out we had to pay a penalty. Since the deadline was close, his advice was to pay the penalty and request a reimbursement after. It was to avoid this situation we sought his advice as a tax professional the previous year, a few months before the end of the year and also got him all the docs in February so there is sufficient time. After filing our taxes in April 2022 including the penalty, the service got worse. He said he had filed an appeal requesting a refund of the penalty and after following up with him a few times over 6 months when there was no info from the IRS, we were told to contact IRS directly. We called the IRS in November after waiting for 6 months like Nabil recommended, and were informed after being on hold for 4+ hours that there was no record of an appeal being filed. We reported this back to Nabil and despite multiple follow ups, this question has been ignored to date. A simple question inquiring what the amount of the penalty he requested waived was has gone unanswered despite repeatedly asking. In addition to the penalty question, we had asked about tax planning for 2023, for which he promptly sent an invoice for a retainer to discuss. Needless to say, we will not be retaining an accounting firm that displays no accountability to its customers for the previous year's returns one more time. read more

Just had them file my 2020 Taxes and we are very happy with their services. They filed for my husband and I who have a combination of W-2 and we both have 1099 work as well with business deductions. Their Fee is standard and in line with other Tax services so no need to shop any other tax people. We were able to do everything through their client portal so I didn't have to go into the office. Communication was also very clear with them as you can message them through their client portal which I love. Our last tax person didn't have a client portal like them and it felt so scattered. Wow! I cant even begin to explain how awesome Nabil is! He is incredibly honest and willing to help people as much as possible. There is no other Accountant that I would trust with my taxes and business entities. My husband and I used to do our own taxes which was probably the worst decision. We were audited in 2014 for our '12 taxes. At first, we consulted a friend who was going to help us and she ended up not helping much at all and made our situation worse. We looked on yelp and booked an appointment with Nabil. At this point we decided that we didn't know what we were doing and should consult someone with a great track record.
