Rarely do I leave poor reviews, but i have never been so disrespected and disappointed in a company's service. I have used Sanitary Cleaners for light repairs here and there, and have never noticed anything even hinting at a poor quality mending job. So, when my vintage pair of Levi's ripped on the back thigh, I thought I knew just the place to take them. I brought them in early November, and they said their seamstress was out on vacation for about 14 days so it wouldn't be quick -- no biggie, I couldn't wear them anyways. 15 days after dropping them off, I picked them up, paid, and went along with my day. When I got home, I was immediately upset with the quality of the repair. I worked in a theatrical costume shop, so I understand the basics of fabric repairs, and this falls so flat from what my novice mind could conceive. They simply attached a denim patch underneath and stitched 100 times over all the frayed material. I have worked in service on and off for 8 years, so I am always very careful when bringing forward complaints of any kind, but I needed to have something done because I felt cheated for PAYING to have my vintage denim ruined. I brought them back IMMEDIATELY the NEXT day, and I asked for the patch to be removed and/or to have my money returned to me. Not a bad deal considering they RUINED a pair of vintage Levi's... They said it was out of their hands and that their district manager would need to call me back. On that call (now, the following day), I learned that the cleaner was bought-out between the time I dropped off the repair and when I paid for it, so even though I paid a day earlier, they would not refund a dime. They threw a fit when I asked for something to be done. I was not happy simply walking away having paid for my jeans to be ruined. The seamstress said she could not take the patch off (which, after further inspection, it's not knot-stitched and a seam-ripper would make light work of removing the patch). All 3 staff members stared at me blankly when I was asking why they chose to not close the whole & stitch over it, or why a seamstress wouldn't be able to remove their own patch. All in all: they credited my account (won't be returning so boo hoo), they won't remove the patch, and I am currently seam-ripping a terrible mending job that cost me $16. Money wasted, terrible management. read more

I found this store to be more than helpful when it came to a problem I had with a Zipper. I stopped in and walla five min later my coat was fixed. They tailor in house and the customer service was above and beyond anything Ive ever experienced as a customer. If they clean the clothes as well as the customer service then Sanitary Cleaners will have all my business. I gave 4 out of 5 because I still have to have some things cleaned this was strictly customer service review. stay tuned for more read more

In town on business and had to have my uniforms cleaned urgently. I called other cleaners that couldn't get it done until over 24 hours later. When I called Sanitary Cleaners, Dennis understood my situation and took great care of me and my uniforms. They got my things cleaned and returned to me the same day. Great service and friendly people. Don't look anywhere else. read more

Sanitary Cleaners is AMAZING!!!!! On September 14th, 2019 my daughter was to be married at 4:00 pm. At 12:30 pm we were about to experience a Bridal emergency. The Bride to Be, along with the Bridal Party, were all out getting their hair and make-up done while the photographer was back at the hotel room taking pictures of various bridal things which included the wedding dress. The photographer had returned to the salon motioning I come over and they had something to tell me. The photographer started with saying they had no idea how it happened put a black spot had gotten on the wedding dress (what appeared to be mascara). Needless to say my heart sunk and a sick feeling was growing in my stomach. After several attempts in trying various dry cleaners I finally got someone, who though they said Dennis had left for the day, they would see what they could do in reaching him. Dennis called me back right away. Dennis made a trip to the hotel, picked up the dress, totally removed the spot, and returned it back to the hotel in less than 2 hours! Dennis had totally gone above and beyond the call of duty! The only items Dennis was missing was a mask and a cape. He definitely saved the day!!!! There is not a doubt in my mind Sanitary Cleaners provides more than just a cleaning service but also are willing to provide what ever assistance and support is required to help the customer. Thank you again Dennis!!! From the Mother of the Bride read more

I think that they are the best place you can go to when it comes to alteration and repairs. I like my cloths to be form fitting. And of course your not going to find that type of fit when you buy cloths off the rack. I can take dresses, tops, skirts or what ever I have you to their seamstress. Get them altered and made to fit me like I want them to. And the turn around time is usually pretty quick. I don't know what other places charge for these types of services. But the cost seems reasonable. And the work(wo)menship is always the best. read more
