They have free wi-fi and there are quite a few tables so it's not too bad of a place to just hang around while you wait for your laundry. It can get pretty busy depending on what time/day you come but Java House/Heirloom is also just a couple of doors down if you wanted to get some food or a drink while you wait instead. I really haven't done my laundry at very many other laundromats, but I think the pricing here is fair. They have both top load machines as well as front load machines in several different sizes. They also have a different sized dryers as well, including the really really big ones, so it's great if you're trying to wash the bedding and towels that you've been putting off washing for the last 2 months. I recently had the experience of putting coins into a broken machine. Laundromania was great at not only fixing their machines in a timely manner but also refunding me the money in the mail which I wasn't even expecting since it was only a couple of dollars! Great customer service, and I would recommend it if you're looking for someplace to wash your clothes!

The night before a trip, I was packing and realized I didn't have some garments I'd dropped off. It was 9:30 at night and I was frustrated, so I texted their number not expecting much. I got a phone call back almost immediately, with an offer to bring the dry cleaning to me. Turned out one of my garments hadn't met their standards, so they'd sent it back for further cleaning -- which I appreciated. When I picked everything up after my trip, there was a $50 gift certificate waiting for me. Was I frustrated in the moment? Sure. But the response was fast, personal, and genuinely above and beyond. Lesson learned, I guess, but I would have never assumed it would cost that much for a simple dress. I have never seen that kind of price at other dry cleaners I have used. Also, when I dropped it off, the sign said "anything dropped off today will be done by Wednesday." Well, Wednesday passed and I heard nothing. Once Friday rolled around and I still had not heard anything from them (besides the $37 charge to my credit card), I had to call to inquire, since I needed the dress for an event the next day. No answer. Someone (no idea who) from the store ends up texting me and tells me it "should be done" by the day that I need it by, and also, there is a stain on the dress that they could not remove. Okay, whatever. I just want the dang dress back. So at this point, I'm out $37 and the dress still has a stain on it (the whole reason I brought it in for dry cleaning). I get that maybe the stain just won't come out and that's fine/understandable, but now I am wondering what I paid $37 for. And to get it 3 days after they said it would done (8 days total). For one singular size extra small item. Learned my lesson and will definitely be using a different dry cleaner next time! Hopefully it actually ends up being done before I need it tomorrow - we'll see. Edit: picked it up this morning, hours before my event. The stains are very prominent on the front of the dress. The cost is about average for supplies, washing, and drying. I've never had any problems with the machinery operating. They even take credit cards (running debit as a credit card) which is a real plus... (If you don't mind a $20 hold on your card). The washers are great. They use Dexter and whirlpool machines. I love the big front loaders which, combined with soft water, do a superb job of cleaning. The anemic dryers are a different story. They are the slowest, coldest machines I have ever seen in a laundromat. For thirty pounds of clothing, I used TWO thirty pound dryers and cranked them up to high. After over thirty minutes, the clothes were still lukewarm and a bit damp. I know they weren't that wet to begin with because the Dexter washer spin cycle is very effective. Most of the other, older dryers at other laundromats practically cook the clothes to a nice, toasty temperature in far less time. One last note - and this is my opinion. Though North Liberty is a smaller town, just in the last few years it has become "urbanized". The trailer courts across the street have been a hub of drug activity and other crime problems. Numerous sketchy people and juvenile delinquents often hang around this building later at night, particularly during the summer. I prefer coming during daylight hours. At that time, it is fine.
