Sango Pool and Spa installed a pool liner for me. I instructed the manager to make sure there were no ruts or high places in the bottom of the pool because they did that with the last liner they installed. Needless to say, the bottom of my pool as ruts and lumps all over it. I left a message with the company and they never got back with me. Now dirt and debris settles in these places and it is impossible to keep it clean. I am very disappointed with the results. read more

Sango Pool and Spa is fantastic! I recently purchased a new Jet Setter hot tub. Lisa and Ashlie both were amazing. They took unlimited time while I ask many questions. I left the store on a Saturday morning and wanted to return right at closing for a second look at a tub. Lisa waiting for me and kept the store open longer to accommodate me. My new Jet Setter was new but had been on loan to another customer. I was given a better price for this reason. Once the tub arrived at my home, it had a leak! Oh no! Lisa and Sam went to the owner and they gave me a solution. Lisa knew that what I really wanted was the Jet Setter LX. Instead of repairing the tub I purchased under its full factory warranty, they called Hot Spring in California and had me a Jet Setter LX expressed for very little cost difference. Lisa, Sammy, Ashlie and the owner have all been so kind and helpful to me. I received service that you only get from "mom and pop" stores, certainly not from a big box retailer. If you are looking for a new tub, Hot Springs builds one of the best! This is my third. I highly recommend Sango Pool and Spa because of the service that I have received both during and after the sell and after delivery. read more

We already had a poor experience with another pool company we had been in contract with for months. We got out of the contract last spring after meeting with Paul and being told, I'll have you swimming by July." June and July both came and went and we were still not swimming. As we were getting closer and closer to the end of pool season I told him on the phone that if we were not going to be able to use the pool this year that we would just table the project until next year. I didn't want to pay a hefty pool loan all winter for something we never got to use. Paul insisted that we would have time in our pool. August and September pass. Still not swimming. We finally get to swim for the first time in October - in what ended up being the last warm day of the year. One time. One single swim. Even though we were swimming, the pool was still not done. They still had not put in a lot of the finishing trim work, rails, etc. I had to intentionally withhold the final payout from our loan company because they were pressuring me to close the loan and send the final disbursement to them on a pool that was still not finished. I refused and had the support of the loan company not to pay out until we had a punch list and the tasks were completed. They did not finish all of those tasks because "the water is too cold" but finished what they could in November, so my first pool payment on the completed pool was in December....on a pool that we were supposed to be swimming in July. I did get charged interest every month we were delayed even though it was not my fault. During construction they damaged 4 sections of our fence (which they did compensate for), and ran over a brand new tree far away from the pool site. We are still baffled on that one. It was lying sideways when we got home. The worker simply stated he didn't now he'd hit it. They finished so late in the year that the grass never had a chance to grow back and our back yard has been a clay mud pit all this time and erosion has taken its toll. Our home inspector came out again and stated that the landscaping issues caused by the drainage solutions they came up with for the grade of our yard and pool placement were so poor that we had to hire a professional landscaper to fix the problems. The problems include water and mud heavily running over a stretch of the concrete poured by Sango Pools concrete people, and another stream of mud running over the concrete around the pool and filling the pool up with mud. The erosion streams from water are already so deep and severe and are exposing the lines they ran. The pool has only been in for four months so at the rate of erosion we cannot ignore this problem, we have to have it fixed right away. The landscaper came out today and they are going to have to dig up the concrete Sango Pool and Spa put down because they never placed the necessary pipes to reroute water under before putting it down. They did nothing but a corrugated drain, which the landscaper said they knew was not enough for the grade of the yard. He is having to put in a dome to catch water and then run an 8 inch drain under the concrete. We will now be paying the landscaper over $10k-$16k, depending on the solutions we choose, after already paying significant money for a pool installation that was supposed to include solutions to these problems, not create them. I gave them two stars because everyone was at least nice. Eric (the installer) was did his best with the crappy orders he was given by his boss. He came to our rescue when we needed an emergency closure of the pool when the power went out during the recent snow storm. They have promised to complete the few things left on the pool when we have them reopen it and the water is warm. If it were not for the office ladies, and the few times Eric he has gone a little extra for us, they would be lucky to get one star from me. I do have a pool. I will love it, enjoy it, and pray it was made better than the experience was so it gives us many years of memories. But overall, not impressed. read more

Amazing customer service! I believe her name was Kristi, she was so helpful! We went in clueless and she walked us out to the back to show us just how to use the system and step by step how it works. They also have an adorable boxer that greets you at the door! They will be our go to pool store for as long as we're UPDATE 1 year later: We had such a good experience with our visit to the store that we decided to have them close our pool for us during the winter season. They came out and said they couldn't start the motor (it was dead of winter, freezing temps) so they'd have to come back and clear the lines with a machine, because they didn't bring that with them we'd have to wait another few days. They came back out a few days later and finally closed the pool. After they left we noticed our motor was completely taken apart and they cut our grounding wire. My husband called and they said they'd come back out to put everything together and fix the wire... Well they never came back out and we figured since it's winter, no rush! Now it's summer, I called to have them come fix the grounding wire so we can get to opening our pool. They said they'd come out the next day... they never showed up. Three days later I called again and they said they'd come the next day. Finally around three the one pool tech shows up and I show him the motor and wire. He looks at it baffled and said he didn't know why the motor was taken apart but he didn't have the right tools with him nor did he feel comfortable putting it back together without knowing why it was taken apart. I explained that they had to use their machine to clear the lines and he said he'd be back out in the next few days with the appropriate tools. I asked for the date and he said he wasn't sure because of the schedule and to call to check. Sure fine. So I waited a couple days and then I called, the manager of the store took the call and said he'd been trying to call us because when they closed our pool they "told us our motor was broken". I said well that's news to me, we were never told that nor have you been trying to call. We then sat there in silence, so I hung up out of frustration and had my husband call back. He said the motor was working perfectly fine before you took it apart, get someone out here to put everything back to how it was before. The manager said someone would be out the next day. And that brings us to now. Nobody has come out to put anything back together. It's been nearly 2 weeks and they just don't care. My husband was able to watch a few YouTube videos and got our motor put back together along with changing PVC piping and opening the pool himself. AND THE MOTOR IS RUNNING BETTER THAN EVER! I highly discourage anyone who is thinking about using sango, if you value your time and your money you'll take your business elsewhere! read more

Horrible. Once they had our money for the pool they yanked us around on the install. The installers never showed up on time, I could not get anybody at the store to call me back. They were just awful, disorganized and didn't care. Also, our sand filter only lasted 1 summer. It started leaking the by 2nd summer and was completely shot by the 3rd summer. We took care of it and did routine maintenance. They sell you low quality crap that won't last. So if you've never bought a pool before, do your research on what you're getting. We were first time buyers and we got screwed by these people. Lessons learned. read more

Ive been doing business with Sango Pool for years. I have and get nothing but excellent service, advice, support and loyalty from them. I asked the owner many years ago to help me when another pool company went bankrupt and didnt finish the job and had my money. Paul helped me out and has always been there for any issues I have. This company is RIDICULOUS! My parents are loyal customers of over 10 years, and now that they needed a new liner this company has taken their money and provided THE WORST service. They have been coming out (at their own convenience) for over 2 months now and the pool, with TWO different liners installed by them, is STILL leaking. And, it's nearly impossible to get anyone out here to find a leak/fix it! Countless hours and dollars are being thrown into this job with no end in sight. In addition, the concrete work that was done was left incomplete, with concrete everywhere, and zero signs of anyone coming out to finish it. The owner of the company has YET to come out OR shown any concern even after REPEATED phone calls, messages, texts, etc. In fact, the response time from ANYONE at the company has been basically non existent. Additionally, now that we've voiced our situation to several friends in town, we've learned that we are not the only ones in this predicament. Apparently, the company is known for leaving unfinished jobs and shoddy work after taking their customers money. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Sango Pool and Spa. In fact, I would call ANYONE else, no matter the cost. read more

So...my mom lives close to them and is in Alaska with me for a month. Her pool was installed by them a few years ago. I'm trying to get a hold of them to go to the house to drain her pool while she is gone due to excessive rain. I can't reach them through phone, text, email or smoke signals. Customer service is terrible. Customer's time is never given the slightest consideration. I took time off from work twice for their no-show service guy. All I heard from them was how busy THEY were. Its a stinking phone call folks....MANNERS! COMMON COURTESY!! Many unreturned phone calls after promises to come to my house to service...guy comes and collects $110.00 for initial service call which is to diagnose and assess problem. After assessment they were no shows 3 times...."Service Manager" claimed to be the guy to get things done.....did not return calls with promised information on at least 3 occasions....spent $700+ for pump repair...installer left me with a leaking pipe...took 3 weeks and 8-10 phone calls to get him to return and finish job. Is there anyone else who services all brands of spas? Help! read more

So the website says that they are open on Sunday, we go and they are closed. Yeah I understand it happens, however in the meantime 4 other potential customers show up thinking the same thing..Ok people change your hours on the website!!!!....Then we called 3 days in a row just to check on their hours, and no one has ever answered the phone!...ok hold the phone!, THEN..it lists a Tiny Town location...so we drive there...and the place isn't even there anymore! read more

Do not ever use this company to service your pool. Last year they winterized the pool. They put the cover on bolted to our deck. Not only did this put holes in our deck but it also ripped off during the first sign of wind. They came back and rebolted it (more holes) and it ripped off again. My husband finally dragged cinder blocks out of the garden and laid them on the edges of the cover, which of course was not ideal and the cover kept coming loose. Today we had Pool and Spa Depot come to open the pool. They informed me that when they close a pool like ours that they use water weights, which hold the cover in place better and do no damage to the deck. Further the tech showed me where Sango completely sawed thru the pump connector hose instead of just using a connector that could be attached. Their customer service is absolutely horrible. Pool & Spa depot told me I should get a refund because of the shoddy work they did. Just going in to buy chemicals is terrible. We were first time pool owners with questions and the personnel acted like they didn't want to do any work. Sango pool and spa should be out of business in my opinion. They used to be the only game in town, not anymore. Just save yourself time, hassle and possible damage to your pool and go to pool & spa depot. read more
