Reached out via Yelp message, attempting to coordinate all of this from California... Agee (pronounced like "ayy-gee") responded quickly same day with a competitive quote. He offered a turn-key solution, with a disassembly/reassembly service also included, in an all-in price. Many other companies were booked up, several still haven't gotten back to me lol Agee knocked it out quickly and without any issues earlier today. The recipient said he was a gentleman too... Job well done. Recommended and thank you.

I called about 30 times noone there to help. I went to the physical location and it seems that it doesn't exist. The owner called me back and said last minute he cancelled my move because of my honest review. Mind you I have been waiting since 1430. Very rude. This ruined my travel plans. This is my last day in the military service and I had planned to drive to NJ and my plans were ruined. Response to the owner. Things happen, therefore it is important to have a plan in place. A refund does not solve the fact that I was lied to and only got a call back after I put in a review. A refund and to surprise me with "we are not going due to your review" does not excuse any sort of professionalism!

My movers left my apartment building because of a parking issue, which I had resolved, and was…read morewaiting on them at my lobby. They proceeded to go to McDonald's and order food, cutting into my moving hours. When they finally got back and started moving things, they did not let me down by the truck to. They broke the service elevator so, moving was halted and I basically paid them to eat McDonald's and sit on a couch. At this time they asked for the payment ensuring they'd finish once the elevator was back running. They did two loads of things and basically just threw my furniture in the truck, leaving major gaps in between and then throwing things over the top so they'd fall in between the furniture pieces. Because of this, the truck was basically full, & I still had things to put in there. I had a truck big enough for a two-bedroom apartment & I only had one bedroom of furniture & then a small living area. It was plenty big. PLUS, I had already taken ALL excess boxes to my storage unit so they only had to move my furniture, tv's, and couch pillows. I had to redo the entire truck by myself & finish the rest on my own. They then charged me for an extra hour and had me Venmo them and disappeared so they pocketed that money. I sent pictures and videos of the terrible job they did and explained the situation to the owner Nathaniel. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

They asked for photos of the damage which I sent in but they refuse to send me the pictures they took so I could compare. Sent a generic form which only states the .60Lb and not the extra I paid for. We had a long distance move to Virginia. When my furniture was delivered and I had time to check for damages I found that just about every piece of furniture had been damaged. Broken lamp base. Items broken, missing furniture, and no resolution after THREE WEEKS. My experience with Journeyman…read moreMoving was terrible. The moving out experience was great, with Aaron coming directly to help me move out of my apartment, wrapping pieces carefully, and being accommodating. I had my stuff stored with them for a bit over 2 months. During the move-in process, we encountered delays because the truck broke down, which meant I had to pay for a hotel room for two days. No big deal, it happens. Finally, move-in day arrives. Once the truck was opened, I saw all my boxes squashed and furniture not secured in the back of the truck. I had a bad feeling, but was hopeful that the company was going to instill their promise of taking care of my items. Once we began unloading, since there was only one guy who was sent, my partner and I had to take things up to the apartment OURSELVES. The guy simply stood by the truck, handed us boxes, and scrolled on his phone. At this point, I just wanted to get over the experience and put this behind me, but as more and more items got unloaded, I saw multiple of my items were broken or missing. My nightstand had deep scratches on both sides, one of my furniture items was simply unusable as the drawers had snapped, and all the screws for my furniture and bed were missing. I also lost my Dyson vacuum and desk chair (worth over $500) during this process. The boxes were squashed and had ants all over them (including inside the boxes)(image 3). I was in absolute tears that everything I had trusted them with had been broken, and to make matters worse, they almost overcharged me for the storage unit. After multiple messages and talks with Aaron, he reassured me that a reimbursement check for my items was coming and that he had found the desk chair...over three weeks have passed since my move-in. I still have no desk chair, I have no check, and the owner, Aaron, continues to drag the situation by stating the check is coming/he got busy/he is on vacation. Please beware, I am only sharing my experience and hope others will be more wary before making the same mistake I did.
