I emailed back and forth with owners Robert and Angela to narrow down specifics, and they were helpful and prompt with each response. I received email reminders leading up to our move, and a phone call the morning of our move when the truck was 15 minutes out. Robert and Robert (or Rob and Bert!) arrived right on time and ready to work. They did a quick walk-thru of the space with us, where we identified which items were going where (we had to stop at a storage unit before the home we were moving into). After that, they packaged all of our items with care, and safely loaded everything onto the truck! It took around four hours to complete our move, and at around $800 total, it was well worth the price. The two Roberts were friendly, professional, and fast while still moving larger pieces carefully. We would definitely hire A&R Moving Solutions again, and highly recommend them to anyone in need of moving services in Greater Nashville.

The movers, staff and anyone associated with them were rude and unfriendly. The charges on this invoice are for a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment (that was completely packed and boxed for them) just boxes and furniture. When contacted about the prices I was informed that they charge an hour travel time regardless if they move a tv across the street or an hour. So moving my apartment 3.2 miles cost me almost $200 alone. Plus gas! So you pay gas and time for the employees to work...when they aren't even working for me yet... The packing material that was used was clear plastic wrap...$150....on two dressers, a couch and a couple other small items....but $150...?? They were slow and unprofessional as it took them 40 minutes to take the legs off my kitchen table, and were caught playing with my daughter's toys. And broke my husband's drill doing so! $1411....!!!!! Insane don't be stupid like me and get tricked by the hidden fees!!!

We were up for 38 hours straight. We had to have all repairs done by our inspection at 9 AM. They are willing to pay for repairs, but they will not refund, any amount on our move. I am going to take them to civil court and file a complaint with a Better Business Bureau. We have not even gotten an apology. There should be criminal charges for what is essentially a hit-and-run. Corporate office claims department are rude. They have zero respect for their customers.

I called about 30 times noone there to help. I went to the physical location and it seems that it doesn't exist. The owner called me back and said last minute he cancelled my move because of my honest review. Mind you I have been waiting since 1430. Very rude. This ruined my travel plans. This is my last day in the military service and I had planned to drive to NJ and my plans were ruined. Response to the owner. Things happen, therefore it is important to have a plan in place. A refund does not solve the fact that I was lied to and only got a call back after I put in a review. A refund and to surprise me with "we are not going due to your review" does not excuse any sort of professionalism!

When I first made contact I was given a quote of $350 flat rate. When I called less than 2 weeks…read morelater to hire the rate jumped to $385. I was put on the schedule that day. I paid the $385 the day prior to my move. The day of my move, instead of a 15' truck for which I had a paid invoice for, they came with a 20' truck. They waited until all my things were loaded on the truck. At the new address, with all my things still on the truck I was informed that I would have to pay an additional $25 for the larger truck. They used a UHaul truck for which they had 11 days to reserve a 15' truck, but they did not, and I paid extra for the larger truck that I did not request an upgrade for. I don't feel this was not good customer service. What was I to do refuse to pay the extra amount before my things were unloaded, then what would they have done, retain my things until it was paid? They did a decent job of the move itself, but I feel they need to have more transparency about the financial part of their business dealings with customers.

Slow and sloppy. Not pro at all. Showed up 30 min late. Took 5 hours and 2 trips to the new…read morelocation due to slow work and poor packing. No hustle at all. Broken lamp and scratched desk and shelves. I've loaded trailers and box trucks enough to know that small boxes and bags do not go in first. Trips to the truck were always with the smallest item possible. It took me barking a little and moving things myself to get the pace up a little. Movers were lagging and making phone calls. I heard one of the guys calling a later appointment (scheduled for 130) saying they would be late and there is no way the were there before 4 seeing how they didn't leave us until 345. Wouldn't recommend.

It also seems that many others have had problems with this company and I hesitate to use that word because it is probably just a lonely slob living in his parents basement taking advantage of a military community. If I were to say something then I would have to say that the two gentlemen showed up on time. They did not bring tools to disassemble anything and had to borrow mine. They took their time loading everything and I had to load a good deal of my belongings myself. And to top everything off upon inspection of my furniture after unloading, 90% of it was damaged in one way or another. They even tried leaving without reassembling some of my furniture and i had to tell them to reassemble it but wait they couldn't because my tools were boxed up. After calling the owner asking what is going to be done, there is still no concrete plan on helping me at least repair some of the damage and the only way to contact him is to try a different phone line due to the fact that he now screens my calls. Absolutely Terrible Experience - Shockingly Different From Last Year…read more I used this company a year ago and had a great experience, which is the only reason I decided to book with them again. Unfortunately, this move was the complete opposite. The movers showed up smelly and unprofessional, and they argued with each other the entire time they were in my home. It was uncomfortable to watch, and on top of that, they were clearly milking the clock rather than working efficiently. When my furniture arrived, several pieces were damaged--including an $800 dresser with two legs broken off, leaving it unable to stand. Three lamp shades never made it into my home during unloading, and the company initially denied they were ever part of the move. For a whole week, they ignored my calls and messages about reimbursement, after saying they would get back to me in 24 hours. They only responded once my father got involved, and even then, their offer was insulting: $70 for the three missing lamp shades and $0 for the ruined dresser. I'm extremely disappointed in how drastically their service quality declined. This company is now unprofessional, careless, and unwilling to take responsibility. I regret booking with them again, and I strongly suggest choosing a different moving company if you want your belongings--and peace of mind--protected.
