They proceeded to go to McDonald's and order food, cutting into my moving hours. When they finally got back and started moving things, they did not let me down by the truck to. They broke the service elevator so, moving was halted and I basically paid them to eat McDonald's and sit on a couch. At this time they asked for the payment ensuring they'd finish once the elevator was back running. They did two loads of things and basically just threw my furniture in the truck, leaving major gaps in between and then throwing things over the top so they'd fall in between the furniture pieces. Because of this, the truck was basically full, & I still had things to put in there. I had a truck big enough for a two-bedroom apartment & I only had one bedroom of furniture & then a small living area. It was plenty big. PLUS, I had already taken ALL excess boxes to my storage unit so they only had to move my furniture, tv's, and couch pillows. I had to redo the entire truck by myself & finish the rest on my own. They then charged me for an extra hour and had me Venmo them and disappeared so they pocketed that money. I sent pictures and videos of the terrible job they did and explained the situation to the owner Nathaniel. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

I emailed back and forth with owners Robert and Angela to narrow down specifics, and they were helpful and prompt with each response. I received email reminders leading up to our move, and a phone call the morning of our move when the truck was 15 minutes out. Robert and Robert (or Rob and Bert!) arrived right on time and ready to work. They did a quick walk-thru of the space with us, where we identified which items were going where (we had to stop at a storage unit before the home we were moving into). After that, they packaged all of our items with care, and safely loaded everything onto the truck! It took around four hours to complete our move, and at around $800 total, it was well worth the price. The two Roberts were friendly, professional, and fast while still moving larger pieces carefully. We would definitely hire A&R Moving Solutions again, and highly recommend them to anyone in need of moving services in Greater Nashville.

I made the reservation a few months in advance. On the morning of my move (scheduled for a 10am move), the driver called me that U-Haul did not have a truck available to rent and that his personal truck tire blew out (lies #1 & #2). It is the company's responsibility to know where the U-box is located and to book the truck in advance. However, I was able to resolve the issue, and found an available U-Haul truck. I had everything under control with U-Haul. All I needed was someone to pick up the U-box for me. I spoke with the owner of the company several times and she assured me the tire was also fixed. Both problems solved. After I booked the truck separately, U-Haul contacted me that the movers never called them back to proceed. The owner of Road Runnerz called me that the driver's wife went into labor. I then spoke to the driver who said someone on his crew had a family emergency (Lie #3). This company was very kind throughout this process, but continually came up with excuses to reschedule my move. This all happened the day of my move. It would have been fine if they reschedule in advance, but Road Runnerz left me stranded on the day of my move. I spoke with the owner ,Danielle, and the driver, Johnny, throughout the morning. This is unacceptable behavior. Hopefully I receive a refund for these services not rendered.

Our experience in dealing with Tavion Drain and QuickSwitch Movers - FRUSTRATING is putting it…read moremildly! From start to finish this was disappointing. Moving day was set a time to meet and he was late and took longer than estimated which caused me to take additional time off from work. He could not find his tape and had me go to the store to purchase it for him only for him to find it while I was on my way back. His worker smelled heavily of marijuana during the move and was a bit careless with our furniture. Misplaced a metal piece that went with our furniture repeatedly asserting that it did not exist only for us to find it under some trash he left behind. During the move I expressed how important our hand-built desk was as it was made by our late father. I don't even want to discuss the scuff marks that I had to clean up due to his worker dragging his tennis shoe heals on the relatively new hardwood floors. While walking or the scratches on furniture that was not even being moved. I also cannot remember how many times I had to tell them that there was a glass chandelier in the foyer and to be mindful of it as it was repeatedly hit with items being moved out. After most of the truck was loaded, Tavion told me that he would have to repack the truck as the truck he wanted was not available but became available and would be moving everything into that truck before heading to North Carolina to deliver my mother's furniture. So, he gets to North Carolina and arrives late to unload the furniture. We let that go as we knew he was traveling from Clarksville to North Carolina. While unloading the furniture it was noticed that our artificial tree was alarmingly bent and curved whereas it was straight when he loaded it. Almost every single piece of furniture that was delivered had brand new scuffs, scratches and/or dings in them. When the grandfather clock was delivered and put back together it was incorrectly put back together and would not work. It was observed that he YouTubed how to put it back together when it would not go back together correctly the first time he tried. He tried to tell us the fresh scratch marks on the hand made desk were there prior to the move and that his furniture repair specialist claims that it was caused by the desk chair (the desk chair in question was made of cloth and you can tell the difference between an aged scratch and a fresh scratch). Now to the "filing a claim for damages" portion of this horrible process... Mid-April we filed a claim for the damages to all the furniture, the bent artificial tree and inoperable grandfather clock. At first, he tried to claim that the grandfather clock being inoperable was not his fault. I told him that it was operational before the move but now it was not. He vehemently denied any wrongdoing but then later said he would send someone to look at the clock. Fast forward to the beginning of May, no repairmen were scheduled, instead met with a "repair specialists are booked solid at the moment" excuse, but no appointments were scheduled in advance. Mid-May WE had to locate a clock repair specialist to come to the house. The clock repairman advised that he was booked until late July. We booked the appointment since it was so far out, also advising him this was part of an insurance claim with our movers. We get to June, still no repair specialists to assess and repair furniture damage. Now we are in the beginning of July, still no repair specialists booked to assess and repair furniture damage. Furniture repairmen came approximately a week and a half before the clock repairman came. In the middle of all this communication, which is vital, was lack luster at best. Not only did it sometimes take days for a response, but it took him well over three months to even get us on someone's schedule for furniture repairs. End of July comes and the clock repair guys comes back saying he had to rehang everything as it wasn't done properly. Due to Tavion putting the clock back together incorrectly it was the direct cause of WHY the clock was not working but comes back with he will pay half the cost... um excuse me... we purchased ADDITIONAL insurance above and beyond the "free" coverage that was available. Do not get me started on how he calculated the valuation of furniture what we graciously was willing to accept payment for versus him taking his sweet time trying to locate an exact TV stand to replace the one that was in nearly perfect condition. Honey, Facebook marketplace comparisons with TV stands that are either nowhere near the same size or same type or looked like it was beat by a toddler is not how you do a valuation. We finally get reimbursement and payment for the remainder of the damages a day AFTER he was supposed to pay us. Tavion, don't come at me with your regular "negative review response" I have documented proof.
