I learned of Billy after he did some major HVAC installations at Prescott College (where I work). The director of facilities management had hired Billy and the team for the complicated installation and highly recommended him to me (for my home). The FM director said, "Billy did some of the finest line work I've ever seen... really clean. Excellent work." referencing the installation details. That was good enough for me and I invited him to the house. He was a like a small-town contractor (he had worked for years with my neighbors, we knew people in common, etc.). Super nice, very humble, very friendly, very professional. He provided a bid that was 30+% less than the others due primarily to not having a huge operation to fund. When you call, you speak to Billy. When you negotiate, you are negotiating with Billy. And he's great. I have not yet pulled the trigger on the installation (we are still working on finding the perfect gear that checks all my boxes), but I can say Billy is great to work with, and, based on the recommendation from my facilities manager, he does GREAT work. If I hire him, I will have NO doubts about the quality of the install. If I do, I'll update this with a review of his installation at the house.
