Finding out about this store was serendipitous. Such a blessing! But, I must warn you... if you see something you like - grab it! The inventory revolves on a daily (even hourly) basis! Even items I was interested in purchasing, sold while I wandered around the store!! I may have missed out on those pieces, but I'm glad they found new homes. Eve and Steve have an amazing knack in regards to selecting the items they sell. And, as someone who has owned retail businesses, I can confidently say that they know what they're doing. Everything they sell is affordable and you'll get 'service with a smile.' My husband, who is normally detached and not really engaging with strangers, absolutely loves Eve's personality! We haven't met Steve yet but I'm sure he's as lovely as his beautiful wife! While choosing furniture for my store, I had the opportunity to observe Eve with her other customers. She was totally honest - if she thought a piece of furniture wasn't "right" for the customer's need, she'd tell them (knowing she's losing a sale.) That kind of honesty is another thing which will keep their customers coming back. It's not all about the almighty dollar - it's about truth, fairness and honesty. The owners get new items in regularly so check back every few weeks if you are looking for something in particular. I found a nice mid century set of dressers and a couple of mid century inspired lamps. The dressers were priced well since one needed a set of legs. I was able to find a very similar set on the internet, so very happy with my purchase.

We were completely WOWED by the beautiful, hand-made furniture on display. My husband was immediately drawn to a gorgeous dark roll-top desk displayed prominently in the back center of the store. He has wanted an Amish roll top desk for a while, but the high price gave us pause. Dan of Amish Home Decor told us about the desk, a consignment piece made by a skilled craftsman. Then he offered to discount the desk and we were sold! My husband was so happy that he was getting the desk that tears came to his eyes. Dan and Deb were so nice and personable, explaining the origin of every piece we admired, and gave us a brochure on how to care for the furniture (use water only! No Pledge!). We also bought a gorgeous sofa table. The desk was promptly delivered 3 days later by Fireman Movers, and fits perfectly in my husband's study. He is a very happy camper. The Amish furniture in this shop is so well made, it makes regular furniture look like Ikea stuff. One day I want an Amish dining set! It's all VERY pricey but that is because you are getting super high quality made by skilled craftsmen who do things right.
