Low Country Laundry damaged and destroyed four pairs of my newly purchased work slacks, $100 each…read morefrom Banana Republic. Two of the pairs they turned the white inside lining and pockets pink, on the other two pants they destroyed three buttons and told me that per the agreement they are not responsible for button damage, they told me this after admitting an employee who they had recently fired used the wrong equipment on the pants which shattered the buttons. I had to convince them, to replace them and when they did they used a drastically different color thread and instead of using the spare buttons that came with the pants they used some that did not match the other buttons as well. I have emailed Sarah several times asking for a resolution, I asked for the pants to be replaced she stated she would not do that and the only thing she would do would be to give me a $100 store credit, of which I refused because only a fool would take more nice clothes back to these people. Further I got no apology, no refund of cleaning charges. I showed the pants that were turned pink to a more professional dry cleaner who instantly determined that Low Country left a red item in with my items when putting them through the machine. After I rejected sarah's Offer of store credit I countered with fixing the buttons again and replacing the two pinked pants. I have sent multiple emails, no response. They do not care about customer service, or quality and they certainly to not care about you and your garments. Look for a different cleaner, luckily the town has more than just these guys. Anyways their pricing was crazy high they charged me about $8 to clean a cotton polo shirt that cost me $20 new. They asked me multiple times not to write an online review, I told them to make this right and then I would not have too. All of the above are the facts, The cleaning plant manager told me they would respond to a negative review claiming it baseless and slander. Instead of just doing the right thing by your customer and make them whole again from your inability to care for people's garments of which you offered was also related to your difficult time finding and keeping good employees at your cleaning facility.

There's not much to say about them, other than that you drop off your laundry, they wash and fold it, and you pick it up. 'nuff said. They're quick, and turn around your laundry in about eight hours, and don't charge extra to hang up shirts or pants. Unfortunately, they don't iron, but that's fine, I could take care of that in my hotel. So, here's the question you ask yourself - For two loads of laundry, do you spend $4/load for wash and dry, plus sit in a crappy laundromat, or do you drop your laundry off, spend $16, and have everything taken care of. I know what I'd choose, again and again.

I seldom use them and had forgotten about my earlier bad experience. On the spot is now expensive and they require payment when you bring items in. The younger employees are sitting around on their phones and disinterested. The older person was unfriendly and abrupt. Obviously this is not typical southern hospitality. Since the hangars are twist-tied together and covered with plastic, you don't know which shirts have ironed in wrinkles until you remove the plastic and separate your shirts. I will have to wash the cotton ones and re-iron them myself. If there was a star less than one, I would have given them the rating they deserve. I will not forget to never use them again!

They were so helpful, that I really can't find the words to express it. They accept credit cards, Venmo, just about everything. They chat online, they text, and you can call them. They ask about the products you choose to use, and are immediately responsive. The twist to this was we found our laundry and didn't need to use them. But I was so grateful for their help and kindness that I wanted to leave this review.
