My head start pounding, so I take a look....Once parting through the hair we noticed that tape ins were improperly placed directly on the skin of the scalp, in no organized method, which resulted in major hair damage and bleeding patches throughout my scalp. The tape ins started to come out with my skin and hair follicles attached. Despite the horrible cut and hair damage, I experienced the worse shampoo I've ever had. I actually had to stop her in the middle of the shampoo and ask her to stop rubbing and scrubbing so hard because it really felt as if she was scrubbing every follicle out of my head. It's gets worse.....I won't get into all the details but please be sure to ask this woman about the fees associated with purchasing hair from her "vendor." I was told the hair cost one price but when the receipt was sent to me, it showed that the hair was in fact half the price she actually took from me. When confronted she basically told me that I should be okay with a 50% mark up because she needed to make a profit and most salons do the same things. Oh and I did my research on this woman....I normally don't like to leave negative reviews but I have tried speaking to this woman amicably for weeks, and I still have no resolve. Now she's decided to "not engage with me" because she owes me "no clarification." I wouldn't want any one to experience this so I thought I'd share.

I asked for a Keratin Treatment and a trim as a walk in during the afternoon. At first the owner refused to do the treatment (she was probably tired and I was the last client of the day. Understandable.) I was going to settle for a trim and blow out. I explained the state of my hair and how important retaining length was to me. She said she would do what I asked for... I think I was given a relaxer and silk press without being told. (My scalp was burning after 15 mins of chemicals and I was done in about 1 hour.) keratin takes longer usually. When the chemical treatment started to burn my scalp I asked to be rinsed and was told to wait longer, while she tended to other clients. I now have chemical burns, root thinning and scabbing on my scalp. I don't let my scalp become wounded when I do my own hair because I prefer length and health over a thin texture, and I expect a professional to understand and do better than I can. The flat iron process was also painful. I could hear the iron ripping my hair (she used at least 6-7 passes on very small sections with free hand (this technique burns the stylists hands and unevenly heats the hair, a fine tooth comb is best with a flat iron). My scalp and neck was burned in the process of flat ironing several times. The end result was very thin, shiny, short hair with root and shaft breakage in visible areas. The style was very flat and unflattering on me. Prices were not posted anywhere in the salon, but the people before paid about 70$ for roller sets. And online gave it two ($$) so it should have been affordable. I was then told the price was $350. I have no intention of referring anyone to this place. I should have just asked for a roller set.
