I'm extremely disappointed in this practice. I had many wonderful years in the care of Jennifer and…read morewhen my situation became worse, I made the decision to try another practitioner to see if I could get my mental health back on track. Fast forward a year and a half, I am attempting to apply for disability benefits due to almost two years of not being able to find work. Jennifer and/or her office staff adamantly refused to send ANY of my medical records to DDS. Even after contacting them multiple times requesting they send the records. Again, I really enjoyed my time with Jennifer but it seems like maybe they don't have your best interest at heart. I've been denied for a second time due to Jennifer and her staff not sending in my records. I'm so disappointed in the whole situation and hope future patients have a better experience.

I've seen 3 doctors before but they never could figure me out. JBG not only understands me but…read moregenuinely cares! She has finally gotten my diagnosis and medication where it needs to be for me to thrive. She's worked with me for years as we both communicate openly and she always asks the right questions. Her patience, ability to explain the processes and reasoning behind behaviors, medications and any further treatment has been above par. I feel safe, seen, heard and taken care of under. She is an enormous amount of knowledge to tap into as she has helped me understand facets of being a mom as well as an ADHD and PTSD patient. I strongly recommend!

I had use some topical anabiotic and had an allergic reaction and a suture site was not healing up…read moresuper great and needed a different type of antibiotic. The PA, Gladys Huertas, would not even look at it before declining to treat me. This is absolutely horrible medical care, especially given how minor this is. I just didn't want to let it go to Monday from Friday evening and did not feel that I needed to go to an emergency room and sit for six hours give or take. It was oozing a little bit and just felt that antibiotics would probably be in order. My surgeon is out of the city and wanted to get something sooner. I would not recommend going to this clinic for anything other than putting a Band-Aid on a small cut to make somebody feel better because they obviously cannot give any level of care above that! I worked the medical field for 20 years as a registered x-ray technologist.

I love this Urgent Care center location. The staff is very nice, patient, and calm…read more The first time I came here was because I was having symptoms of weakness, chills, and extreme fatigue. It was terrible and I struggled to walk or get into places because of that fatigue. I came with my boyfriend who assisted me to the clinic. I gotten into their registration via paperwork and online they wanted both. I sat back down and was told to come into a room. The tech came to get vitals then a APN came. She was nice and not rushing me. She did a test on me which concluded into diagnosing me with COVID and the flu. So no wonder I felt like horse dung. That was back in November. Then, I came here again to be diagnosed with the flu for children. Again, I was treated with quality of care which the front staff and NP were extremely nice as well as patient. The consistency matters and with St. David's Medical group you get that. Both times I was prescribed medications which aided in my wellness. The waiting room is clean and they have television playing movies. Each time I'm sick in Austin, I'm coming here without a doubt.

I decided it was time to get a primary Dr in Austin instead of in my home town. I did some research…read moreand ultimately chose Dr Wolf because she was an internist and was on ARC's rising star list. I went to the appointment and met with her nurse. I don't remember her name, but she was super nice. I waited maybe 5 minutes in the room - overall wait time was around 15 minutes (arrival to Dr time) - and Dr Wolf was super easy to talk to. I went over my concerns and she addressed everything in a very easy to understand manner. She asked that I do some bloodwork and things, which I did the next morning. Within a few hours, her nurse had called me about an abnormal result and they walked me through that process. Definitely like Dr Wolf and have referred a few of my friends that recently moved here to her! Appointments seemed easy enough to make. I got in within a week, but I didn't have anything really going on like a cold or something. Most Dr's like that will squeeze you in if you needed to be seen quicker, but I haven't had to do that at her office yet. Anyways, I was satisfied with getting in to see her in a week for what I had going on.

I am writing an update to my original review because I have had Dr. Wolf as my doctor for awhile…read morenow and can highly recommend her. This past year was a tough one medically and with losses in my family, and she and her staff have listened to me, referred me to appropriate specialists and understood my own need to advocate for my care and methods of treatments. She has been my primary care person and her staff has always treated me with respect, gotten back to me in timely ways and used caring and compassion. Now that I have seen more doctors in Austin and am aware that they all see huge numbers of patients I am more appreciative of the kindness and professionalism of Dr. Wolf and this practice. She has coordinated my care but it has always felt like a partnership through a tough year. She rocks!

Here's my latest update: I have been under the excellent care of this company for over 20 years…read moreand I think the services keep getting better. Laurelin Mullins has patiently-patiently-patiently coached me on weight loss, diabetes, septic infections, sleep apnea, and more. I am never rushed, and she carefully listens to all my lame excuses.......AND she actually--somehow--gets me to listen to her recommendations!!! .... I always leave the clinic encouraged, holding a detailed treatment plan that is so easy to follow that even my thick, male, Cro-Magnon brain can understand it ..... The staff are equally skilled and responsive: they remind me of lab visits via telephone, email and text. They even promptly answer crazy questions...... the clinic also has a portal that I can type issues directly to Laurelin and get a quick personal response. In summary, I feel lucky to be working with this highly professional clinic. This definitely feels like a concierge medical practice! ..... MY THANKS To this wonderful, dedicated team, Dave K.

Like a few other, I loved this practice when it was still Balcones Woods Family Medicine. When they…read morewere taken over my Seton, things went downhill. My daughter (15) and I both saw them for primary care. I left after I went in twice for a sinus infection and they refused me antibiotics, which I had not taken in more than a decade. I went to an ENT after that. He was SHOCKED that they didn't prescribe me meds. I ended up on them for much longer than I would have liked for a very common infection. Here was the kicker for me: My daughter liked their nurse practitioner Laurelin Mullins, so I continued taking her there. My daughter has ADHD, for which she was treated at Balcones Woods Family Medicine before it changed hands. On April 1, 2019, her high school sent a form over to confirm my kid's ADHD (so she could get accommodations), the practice did nothing for two weeks. I called and they found the form after much searching. Then NP Mullins refused to sign the form because she hasn't been treated for ADHD since they were taken over by Seton. She didn't attempt to help at all (for example, I have a neuropsych's report etc. that I would have provided to assist; they could have looked at old records, etc.). Regardless of the fact that she was treated at that clinic, they didn't sign the forms. This means my daughter is still waiting for her accommodations at school. The practice should not treat children who need accommodations this way. Even the high school was surprised and they do this all the time. They aren't nearly as caring with patients as they used to be. We won't be going back.
