just now I'm so grateful for Sandra. I had moved from Colorado and had gotten terrified about the Californian vaccination bureaucracy. And she let me feel more confident about my alternative parenting... i.e. breastfeeding into the 2nd year okay, as long as, we're not going every hour on the hour. Co-sleeping okay, we don't need to work on the child's independence just yet. And gave me advice on how to do vaccinations in the second year (my choice and imperative, not her suggestion) when my child is 2 on medical. I felt supported and was grateful. As you know this doctor does not take any insurance, which we are fine with. But, all I have to say is make sure you ask the price of vaccines or office visits before anything is administered or performed. We got a shocking bill for $356 for a vaccine, and the price of the vaccine was never mentioned to us. On a different note, Dr. Greenberg failed to tell us what side effects could take place with the aforementioned vaccine.  My newborn developed a fever shortly after the immunization, and I was in a panic because I did not know what what I should do to reduce the fever.  Luckily, the fever broke on its own. I later found out that Tylenol was the preferred treatment.  Even so, Dr. Greenberg did not tell us what dosage of Tylenol should be given should a fever were to arise.  (The box says "ask a doctor" for anyone 2 years of age and under.) Unless you have tons of friends who are pharmacists or you trust Google to calculate the dosages for you, make sure you ask or research it yourself. read more

GREENBERG! I seriously can not speak more highly of Dr. Greenberg! From the second I called until thru emails and our visit she was truly one of a kind! I feel so blessed to have found a doctor that actually cares about not only my child but my instincts as a parent! She is thorough and informative, kind and caring, respectful and knowledgable! Basically everything I have been looking for in a pediatrician and MORE! Dr. Greenberg's office is clean and welcoming just like the doctor her self! And despite being a 30min drive from me I will be taking my daughter to see her from here on out! She is that AMAZING! And if I ever need it she even does HOME VISITS at a very reasonable rate! In fact her rates all around are very reasonable for a doctor like her! My visit was quiet detailed and at no point did i ever feel she was rushing me along which i am very grateful for as I have often felt rushed at many other doctors I've seen over the years. Dr Greenberg is also very up to date and keeps all of your medical records on an efficient EMR portal which you can access anytime making it very easy to keep up with any medical history! This review is long overdue. Dr. Greenberg helped our daughter when she was about 6 months old and had a severe case of eczema. This was eczema that we had taken her to our pediatrician through insurance and told us it was "baby acne and it would go away." It ended up spreading so bad that we needed help last minute on a Friday night and Sandra took us in with no hesitation. She helped calm our new parent nerves and helped us eliminate causes (Diet, pet allergies, detergents, etc.) She prescribed us a miracle cream and gave us so many tips to help calm her skin. She also gave us many samples of allergy medicine and left us feeling under control by answering our hundreds of questions. If in the future I have any needs for my daughter I really would trust her. read more

Let's talk about how a child views the doctor from a young age. It's always s bit uncomfortable to go to the dr. Even as adults. A little intimidated is probably the basic first impression. Or maybe they vaguely remember the doctor from previous visits. Especially if needles are involved. Let's just be frank, pediatricians have a tough job. They have to be able to talk to the baby and make them comfortable. My son is just a few months under 2. This pediatrician did not talk to my son about the procedures she was about to do. She asked me to hold his arms after the first time she tried to look in his ears. He was moving around and did not want anything to do with her. She was just going for it. Hold his arms like this she said. Then when I did, she jabbed the ear viewer into his ears. How did she see anything? I don't think she did. I think she just went through the motion. Then she did a throat check. He gagged hard. Still I'm holding my kids arms. Still no communication from the doctor. Just invasive and brief checkups with little warning. She is giving me orders and I'm in shock just following along. She went to measure his head and was so quick about it with her paper measuring tape that the razor sharp paper almost cut my son's face. I am still so traumatized by this woman. She asked me if my son didn't like people. I thought to myself, no lady- just you. So not warm and fuzzy. There were several other big turn offs but I will leave it at that. No more subjecting my sweet child to this kind of treatment. read more

I am not really big on doctors..even though I know many, I actually like Dr. Greenberg as a person as well as a terrific doctor for our baby boy. Dr. Greenberg is an amazing doctor! She spent two hours with us the first time we saw her and addressed every question and concern we had as new parents. Since then we haven't spent less than an hour with her during each of our appointments. Her office doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but that doesn't matter when you see the kind of top level care she provides to your child. She doesn't take insurance, however comparatively on how much time she spends with us, I honestly can't believe she doesn't charge more. Awesome Dr.! She immediately detected my grand daughter's lip tie and did a thorough exam, down to earth, very practical and took seriously her skin sensitivity. Previously the pediatrician my daughter engaged had inappropriately prescribed harsh medication prior to the baby's scheduled immunizations. The baby had a serious reaction and we ended up in ER. Dr Greenberg is now the pediatrician in whom we have faith and trust. I just took my infant to see Dr. Greenberg for the first time, and I really wish I'd known about her sooner for my 4 year old and 2 year old. I've never met a Pediatrician as informative, "real", patient, and genuine as this one-- and that's saying something because we had a great Pediatrician before who we loved (he unfortunately passed away). She knows exactly what she is doing and made sure I really understood what she was saying, and that any concerns of mine were addressed. I live in Santa Monica and we gladly drive the one hour commute to see this amazing pediatrician. Both my girls love her and she is everything we want in a family pediatrician: she is kind, knowledgeable, patient, and an advocate of holistic parenting. She is also an osteopath! Our family first met her as a part of Dr. Paul Fleiss' team of pediatricians, and we followed on to Dr. Greenberg's own practice following Dr. Fleiss' death. Sandra Greenberg exemplifies everything one could want in a pediatrician. She has been completely accessible, even during the emergencies that happen outside of office hours. In a recent crises that sent us to the Emergency Room at Childrens', Dr. Greenberg stayed in touch with us and the hospital docs for the entire time we were there. She answered all of our questions, and did outreach to specialists in service of our daughter's case. I believe that Dr. Greenberg's personal experiences at a mother, and school teacher greatly inform what she brings to bear as a physician. Ten stars! Twenty! Fifty!!! read more
