We were referred to Felix of Diamond House Painting NOLA by a paint specialist at a near by home improvement store. Felix's reputation precedes him. He promptly arrived at our home for a estimate/consultation. Felix inspected our home gave comparable pricing and realistic completion timeline within 24 hours of our initial inquiry. Felix was communicative during the entire process and his team are knowledgeable, professional, punctual, and NEAT! We visited our property on a daily basis and saw major transformations (work was actually being done!). Our home wasn't treated like a "job site", all supplies/tools were organized neatly at the end of each work day. His team was very accommodating to our downstairs tenants and the schedule of their young child nap time. A HUGE plus! If you want quality service, don't hesitate to contact Diamond House Painting NOLA for a quote. We will definitely use Felix again for our exterior painting needs. His team wore masks and practiced social distancing during our encounters.

But finally my house looks all brand new and gorgeous. I was emailed a written quote with everything spelled out. I made a couple of small modifications (unique to my job) signed and sent back. The day they started the work, I gave them a deposit check. Check 2 was a week in and then the final payment when the job was done and I was satisfied. I was appreciative that they were insured (just in case) and that information was listed on the quote. The company sanded, pressure washed, repaired and painted all the things. I picked an exuberant color scheme and they did not blink and were happy to change a couple of things on the fly. All the workers were friendly and considerate. Felix was a great communicator and made sure that I was happy with everything. Would definitely recommend.

Bo told us to call him when we got into New Orleans. We called him several times and he did not return our call. We have yet to hear back from him. While I know that there are many risks and challenges that take place when meeting individuals to discuss remodels and new construction projects, I feel that Bo summed us up by our voice on the phone call and we did not matter. Out of courtesy, we deserved to a phone call even if he decided not to meet us; afterall we drove nearly 400 miles and our time is just as valuable as Bo's and Pentek. This project would have been a new build with the majority of the financing already in place. I would have given him ZERO (0) if the system allowed.

Marcus guided us through the entire process--from first design to fixture acquisition--without a hitch. He was frequently on-site, coordinating with subcontractors, overseeing the various aspects of the building process, and directing his laborers. And boy, all that work sure paid off in the end: our addition has exceeded my expectations, and my new deck is simply outstanding. Marcus also arranged a few bonus projects on the pre-existing structure--a new roof, for example--and he did this without busting our budget. Kudos! It was a pleasure working with Marcus and his crew, and I look forward to hiring him again for our upcoming kitchen renovation.

The company is quick to come out and provide estimates. The tech who came out was friendly. The…read morematerials used are pretty good. The reason they only received one star is because my patio leaks in multiple places when it rains. They quickly dispatched a tech who came out and blamed it on some flashing that was not replaced. I'm not totally convinced that is the root cause because upon closer inspection I found water leaking below at the screws. When inspecting it from above I found multiple screws only half fastened. The installer did not trim the material enough and the patio butts up against the drain which also causes water to pool. They never returned a call since. UPDATE So, the company provided an excellent answer to the issue as you can see. I did not know the back story about the homeowners interaction with the vendor. Now that I know, its my opinion its not entirely the fault of the vendor. My issue still stands with the non communication of all this. I had to lodge a complaint to the BBB in order to finally get this response. It was a quick response too. I dont think it had to go that far. I would have been happy if this was communicated to me over the phone.

John was respectful, honest, professional and fair in his pricing. John knew what he was talking about; compared to others we met, and even suggested options that saved us money. John and his team came in and got right to work. He took extra care and time to ensure that the grout work was correct in color, which looked great and made it very difficult to ID the old from the new. All jobs were completed to our satisfaction and looked/functioned great. Only reason for the 4-Stars is due to leaving a little bit of a mess from the frosted window replacement and regrouting. Just a little more clean up was needed. If not for that it would have been 5-stars. Based on our overall experience, we would recommend John. We plan to do additional work with him in the near future.

Homeowner's insurance company decided to inform us at the near last minute that they wanted our panels changed, despite knowing about the panels when we bought the home almost a year ago now. We had 2 indoor electrical panels, one that, thanks to Keith, we discovered was actually not up to code for another reason we didn't know, which was because of it's placement. Found these folks on Angie's list. Submitted a request for a call through there around 6 pm - 7 pm time frame. Keith called us within 30 minutes of that request. He was very understanding and came out within 2 days of that call. When Keith and another gentlemen (I regret not getting his name), came out for the quote, he was super polite. He knew exactly what we needed and told us exactly what he was going to do. Within a week later, they were at our home replacing the panels as well as bringing the panel that was placed in a bad spot. They also discovered some additional wiring that needed to be changed out and immediately informed us, as well as an estimate on the cost of it. The entire time they worked on our home, they wore PPE, and minimized the mess that was made. The sheetrock that was cut was placed back appropriately. No holes left or major gaps were left afterwards. All small bits of trash was thrown in the garbage. Not a single bit of junk left in the house or in the yard on the side of the house. Doors were kept closed as much as possible. (We have pets and we tried to cool down the house as low as possible prior to them arriving.) Once the project as done, he took pictures for us to send to our insurance company, as well as an email with other information. This whole project was on a tight budget due to it being last minute, but it was absolutely worth every penny just alone by the fact of how Keith and his coworker treated us and our home. Two other electricians quoted us nearly double what these guys quoted us. While they were nice, they didn't seem to notice some of the other code violations, nor did they seem to fully understand what the insurance company was asking for. If we need electrical work in the future, we will absolutely be giving these guys a call again.

He was on his way home from the end of his work day, but cheerfully agreed to drive over to check out our problem. He arrived within 15 minutes! He diagnosed the problem and explained to us what had happened and what needed to be done to fix it. He gave us an estimate. We requested him to fix the problem that evening if possible as we had no electrical power to the house. He agreed, went to procure the repair parts and materials he needed, and returned within the hour with a helper so that he could accomplish the task faster for us. He worked until after dark to fix the problem, resulting in us having electricity restored to our home! Keith was friendly, professional, organized, and neat. I think the price for the repair was fair ($1,100) as it was done on a same day emergency basis. We very much appreciated Keith accommodating us so that we did not have to go through a night without power and A/C. I would highly recommend Keith and will certainly use his services again in the future when the need arises.
