It is weird to see good people doing their best, dealing with rude customers, taking care of front end business, and that for a couple pennies compared to the thousands taken by the Kroger heads. I want to see clearance goods better labeled, presented to ensure food waste is minimized. Grosses me out how these big brands abuse and manipulate price gouging then brag about record profits while claiming higher prices are due to inflation. What a scam, at least ensure the billions of produce thrown out each year is reduced by incentiving seriously low pricing to tempt consumers to help out your expiring items. Also the rewards are so skewed, gasoline discounts take a while to accumulate, rarely help at all considering gas stations a mile away are cheaper without any rewards discount!

Kokomo has a number of grocery stores, but they are big, impersonal, and not fun to shop in. The staff at Martin's is so friendly and helpful. I miss being able to do my shopping there each week. Surprisingly, for a small town grocery, they have lots of the specialty products I use. And now that I have to cook Gluten Free for some of my grandchildren, I appreciate the large selection of GF products, particularly the flours and basic ingredients. Fresh produce, that is well maintained, a nice meat department, and a Starbucks as you walk in- what else could you want? Thanks Martin's!

I was with my youngest and made a purchase through the express checkout. One item was a box of chips (that was way overpriced). It was too big to put in a bag so I clicked on "skip bagging" and put it back in my cart, paid, and left. I even exchanged pleasantries with the manager/supervisor on duty. As I get to my car, a young employee comes up to me and says her manager wanted her to check and make sure I didn't walk out with two boxes. Seriously?! I kept my calm and showed the receipt and as she tried to look in my car I told her I haven't put anything in my car yet. I have NEVER given the employees there any reason to think I've stolen anything and I'm usually in there weekly. This is not the first time I have felt targeted but I tried to brush it off. Now I know it's clear that I am not wanted in the store due to my skin color. Do better Martins!
