Was in town to visit some clients today Logged onto yelp app to see where my coworker and I could eat. This place had good reviews. Thought we would try it out. A+ on everything. Atmosphere , service and food was wonderful. You'll be very happy with this place.

Had a great first experience with Jarrety. Great menu, quick service. I enjoyed a toasted ham & cheese panini in tasty rosemary foccaccia bread. Melts in your mouth. Had a nice salad with a sweet & tangy dressing. Many great menu options. Decided to have a decadent butter toffee almond iced latte in lieu of dessert (only carrot cake in the case today) from their fabulous coffee bar. Many new employees working hard to earn their customers' returns. If I have to find a fault, I saw no visible covid practices. If there are any, they might publicize them-it'd be good for business confidence.

We were passing through Rochester, checked Yelp and decided to try Jarretys based on Yelp reviews. completely wonderful surprise. The food was phenomenal, the coffee and tea perfect and the service spectacular. It was a busy Friday night with a neat mix of folks dining at various tables. We loved their baked potato soup and the variety of sandwiches, panninis, salads and breads available. We highly recommend Jarrety's Place. It is worth the short drive off US 31 to downtown Rochester.

Went here for lunch today because we were in town and looked to Yelp to assist us in finding a place to eat. This location has several options on the menu. For those of you familiar with Panera, the restaurant features many offerings that would be considered as comparable, but perhaps offers even more menu choices than that chain. The variety of choices is nice, but can be a bit overwhelming. The main dinning area was full, so our party of five was seated in the meeting room. The meeting room looks as though it might be going through some sort of a transition as it acts as a storage area and has peeling/peeled wallpaper in several places (so much that major portions of the wall are exposed). It took a bit for our waitress to arrive but once she did, our service was okay. The waitress stated she has only been there for three months and needed to ask the kitchen a few times on some of our menu questions. When asked to make some menu recommendations, she said she was unable since she had not tried some of the things and only worked there for a short amount of time. Perhaps some additional training may be warranted? Our table ordered a variety of sandwiches, soups, and salads as well as desserts. The food was pretty good, with nothing terrible to say, nor anything outstanding. Most at our table opted for this location's version of "you pick 2" (like Panera). I went for a sandwich and salad. My salad was a bit better than my turkey sandwhich. The salad came with a tangy house vinaigrette dressing that was pretty good. The sandwich wasn't terrible, but it seemed as though the potato chips (most likely from a bag) that covered my plate, were presented to be the star because of the overwhelming number of them on my plate (like I said... They were potato chips likely from a bag... Not homemade from what I could tell - so nothing particularly special). The carrot cake was worth mentioning. Pretty good, moist cake, with cream cheese frosting. Others opted for chocolate cakes and other desserts which all seemed fine. If in Rochester again, I might swing by and grab a coffee and another piece of carrot cake. This location is definitely worth trying if you have not been, but may lack a wow factor in some areas.

Got tacos and shrimp both were good tonight. I went to ask what they had for deserts and was told they have them in the cabinet on the other side. Then if I really wanted she would list them out. So I asked like what kinds and she briefly listed pies, cakes. I don't think she likes selling deserts. I mentioned to the owner / manager and she said the waitress was busy but if I wanted to wait she would check in a bit. I already waited 10 minutes for the first time I asked. Not waiting another 10 or more minutes. I told her I was out of there and no apology or care. Other waitresses did not pull this with me before. Will not be back if they treat customers this way. Don't go there if you are by yourself. Not had any trouble till tonight.

Stopped for a quick lunch after reading the reviews. We weren't disappointed. We both had the loaded potato soup. It was very good. The green onions on top were fresh and added to the soup. We each had a 4 inch sandwich. The size was perfect and the were both delicious

The staff at Jarretys are so easy to work with. They were very accommodating in helping to make sure everything went perfect for my daughters baby shower. The venue was beautiful. There is a separate entrance for the Arlington Room which is nice. The food Jarretys prepared for her luncheon was delicious and the presentation was very nice. The big hit was the mimosa bar. Thank you Dawn for all your creative ideas to make that a fun event. We are so fortunate to have Jarretys in Rochester. Thanks again to everyone at Jarretys that helped to make our event truly special.

We stopped here on a road trip through Indiana and can't say enough about how great the food was. Highly recommend it.

Nice atmosphere and good coffee. I tried the breakfast bowl and it filled me up. I would come here again. Friendly help. Plenty of seating.

However, I truly think Starbucks has lost its character. What else could explain my visiting two different Starbucks locations more than 100 miles apart in the same day and getting SHITTY attitudes from two different baristas at said Starbucks? At this particular location, I was a little surprised to see the coffee of the day being served out of thermos pumps. I don't recall having seen that before, and it may be standard operating procedure, but as a consumer, it turned me off. It made me wonder why I was paying Starbucks premium for coffee that was being kept warm and pumped out of a thermos carafe. One thing I was going to compliment this location on was how nice their baked goods display looked. However, I was taking a picture on my phone and was halted by the barista saying I couldn't take pictures of their things. Again, I don't know if this is standard operating procedure, and this is the only barista out of a hundred Starbucks I've visited to enforce it, or if this was just another way for this particular barista to share her "sunny" disposition (that's sarcasm) with me. I think anyone can go on Starbucks website and see the food items they offer. It's advertised and public knowledge, so I'm unsure how preventing photos applies here. Anyway, was glad to see that Rochester finally got a Starbucks; but after this visit, I'm not so sure that's a good thing.

The parking lot is big and easy to navigate, which makes pulling in hassle-free even when it's busy. Inside, the store feels roomy with a solid selection of snacks, drinks, and the usual travel-stop essentials. The hot food area looked fine, but it definitely could use a bit more attention during busier times. Restrooms were available, but they weren't the cleanest when I visited. They were usable, just not great. The checkout line moved quickly, and the staff handled things efficiently without slowing anyone down. The fuel pumps were clean, well-lit, and spaced out enough to avoid that cramped, chaotic feel you sometimes get at travel centers. Prices were standard for a Pilot, nothing surprising. Overall, it's a decent place to stop, refuel, and stretch your legs. Not the cleanest option out there, but it gets the job done if you're passing through.
