Their menu was just what we needed - a mix of salads, sandwiches and pizza alongside baked goods and coffee. We opted for the Greek Salad, Margherita pizza and a chicken pesto sandwich along with some coffee drinks. Oh, and I caved and picked up a Scotcheroo for nostalgia's sake ;) I really loved how nutritious the salad was - feta, quinoa, carrots, hummus, etc. All were great and it was a positive experience. We sat inside but they also have a great wrap around porch with lots of shade.

Believe they were open until 9 PM on a Wednesday night. There is a ton of space, but a lot of it is really old and the couches did not look inviting to sit on. Reminded me of older, worn-out youth group couches. It just wasn't very clean. I love all the options they had for drinks and smoothies, they have also had a lot of food options for lunch! My reason for giving a 3-Star, not only the seating, is mostly because of the way the barista was dressed. I know that this is a silly thing to review, but I feel it's necessary to mention because the café is in a church. The barista was showing more skin than not, normally wouldn't care but I just didn't feel like an off shoulder, crop-top and booty shorts were appropriate in representing a church. It caught us off guard!

Don't get me wrong, the waitress that was there was doing her best. That was the problem, though. There was only one waitress for one of the busiest nights of the week. In addition to being a busy night, there were a couple of big events going on that night. Homecoming was happening at the school. The Second Friday event was happening downtown. They did not schedule for the extra business. I was there, for i can't tell you how long. I was only greeted. She wasn't able to even get my drink order. I just got up and left. I went to another local restaurant. I do want to say that it wasn't the waitresses fault that was there at all. She was doing her best. The owners failed the restaurant when scheduling.
