There were healthy adrenaline rushes throughout because if you lose, (depending on which game) you could evaporate, get blown up, fall from great heights, etc and the games are timed! Would 1000% do it again and highly recommend ! Only side note is the bracelet sensors can be tricky. They're sensitive, so if it's loose , you might have a disadvantage in the game. However , I had a hard time finding a way to secure it tight enough without it jiggling around while at the same time not securing it too tight to where it is uncomfortable.

Some of our group arrived earlier but most of us arrived within the suggested time. We get checked in and one of our groups gets taken in about 10 minutes first. Then the second group got taken in, but we waited a while with the gears before the room before us finished. The third group was taken in shortly after the 2nd, but they also waited a while before the room prior was finished too. We all played the Deadwood Phobia and loved it. Originally, my friends who are scared of horror games ended up having so much fun. Overall, it was a good experience for groups and everyone had a good time.

But the kids games (floor is lava and box party) were honestly not that fun, even for the kids. The tracking technology is just OK, the games aren't actually that immersive - you're just kind of a human controller. So yeah. No matter what your age or what your interest is you might be able to find something that would be just a great way to escape reality for an hour or 2 A-day. Once in a while there maybe a glitch for a player but it isn't frequent, and that's just how technology goes. That's not really anyone's fault. The staff always fixed the glitch quickly. Most of the games are geared toward older kids (and adults) but they do have 2-3 games for younger ones. Booking online is the easiest. But if you're too late for your game, you won't be able to play because the game time cannot be shortened and you will create a backup for other customers. Highly recommend you come 15 min early to check in and get outfitted. Bring your own water bottle. You will get sweaty. If you forget your water, they sell refrigerated water for $4.

This should have been basic information given to us or at least let us know we should arrive earlier than your booked time in order to play. Just thinking logically I would want clients to prefill these out prior to their reservations. This would create less friction at start time. The crew setting us up for playtime were very helpful though and after playing they gave us a nice recap experience of our game. This was a nice touch but I wish they would have told us how the photos would be used more clearly. I wasn't even ready when taking my photo and halfway through a blink. The kids liked the game play but adults didn't have a good time. It was dizzying and exhausting to play for me and my wife and $50 a person for such an experience seems high. We had checked out many party venues around the Peninsula, looking for a place that was fun, encouraged lots of interaction among the kids, and had a party space for them to eat and mingle afterward. IGB checked all the boxes. The Stonestown location is also incredibly convenient, with plenty of parking, lots of nearby food options for the party lunch, and stores like Target, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Sports Basement for parents who want to stay nearby after dropping off the kids. The staff made the whole experience even better. George was prompt, courteous, and helpful through the online chat, answering all of my many questions. When my wife and I visited in person, Destiny was just as wonderful. She had a clear can-do attitude and really wanted to make sure the party went smoothly. On the day of the party, Destiny came in early to open the store, set up the party area, and help with decorations. She was flexible with the game rooms as some kids arrived early and others came late, and she was helpful throughout the entire event, even helping clean up when a drink spilled. Most importantly, the girls had a blast. After an hour of playing, all of them asked to keep going, and several convinced their parents to let them stay and play more after the party lunch. This location is inside Stonestown Galleria on the 1st floor next to Target. When we arrived, it was around 5:30pm and the mall was super busy. Parking is always a challenge here so if you plan on visiting, plan on arriving early. We checked in with the lady as soon as we walked in. She was very friendly and helped us get started. We put on these hats with sensors on it. You can adjust them to fit your head. There were several rooms inside and it's very spacious. There is a bathroom inside Gamebox so you don't have to walk all the way to the mall's food court to use it. There are several games to choose from: Batman, The Floor is Lava, Squid Game and you can play up to 5-6 people (I think) I could be wrong so please check the website. We booked to play Squid Game for 60 mins which cost me $104 for 3 people. The game was challenging and it was that day when I learned that I wouldn't last in a real Squid Games challenge (lol). I loved the fact that it was interactive. You will get a work out playing this game. My hubby, my son, and I had so much fun! Cant wait to go back!
