After hearing my friend admit that she`d paid $3000 for a four day, three night stay here, I realized that the real estate rental market on South Beach is a rip off. Our place was very clean, there were four bedrooms, two with queen beds and two with two twin beds each, and I think we were sufficiently supplied with towels, although I don`t really know since I knew going it there would be 8-10 of us sharing the space, so I took my own. The concierge (Sonny) that showed me up to the room was really nice, and the people that arrived before me told me that he had given them a tutorial on working the TV and speakers that were hooked up. Good thing he had, because even turning the TV off and on seemed to be a chore. The speakers piped through the entire unit, but thankfully each room allowed your to mute your speakers for some peace and quiet while everyone else continued to party. There was basically two living rooms and a fully stocked kitchen and that was it for rooms. I think our unit is advertised at 1700 sq feet. The owner even left us a bottle of wine and some other staples. Three bathrooms with an ample supply of hand soap, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner and while they weren`t the cleanest bathrooms I`d ever seen, they were clean enough to step in and out of with your shower shoes on. Free wifi. And it was pretty good wifi. There was an inventory check list along with a binder full of helpful tips about local businesses, rules of the property. The quiet hours are marked at 11pm - 6am, but overall I found the building to be pretty quiet throughout our stay, there is also a night security guard There is a restaurant directly in front of the building, and the outdoor tables were full any time I exited. There is a surf shop store also underneath the building on street level, which is a good place in Miami to stock up on souvenirs etc., the cheapest lighter they had was $2.50 and the shot glasses were $3.99 and up. They also had a good selection of Ray Bans and Oakelys. And some Miami t-shirts. I mostly avoided the store, because the first day I arrived, once I hopped out my uber, I was confused as to which of the three doors to enter to get to the concierge and asked the shop owner, and he looked at me and said he didn`t know and kept sweeping the sidewalk as if I wasn`t standing there. For sure, you know which door is the entrance to a condominium that you share real estate with. Not sure how the numbering of the unit goes, but we were on the third floor facing Ocean Drive and had it not been for the palm trees, we would have had a view of the ocean. Overall, I`d never pay $3000 to stay anywhere for four days but for the location aspect of it, your are right in the smack of Ocean Drive, so go for it, but I`m sure there are less expensive options that offer more bang for your buck. The unit was equipped with an X-box and some game and a few board games and a set of ping pong paddles. None of which we used. There was a washer dryer combo which made it helpful not to have to return home with wet swimsuits and the owners supplied us with a container of Tide pods. They also provided some beach towels and an umbrella. The info binder stated that there were some businesses directly across the street that rented beach chairs. The place was closed each time we went over to the beach. Within walking distance of multiple restaurants, Fat Tuesday, Wet Willies, TGIF and Haagen Daaz.

As those of Gallo Travel were more passengers than the ones from Marvel Travel it seems that they won in majority of vote, again, vointing without counting with us. When we complained she told us that we could do it at the agency and when she said goodbye arriving at the destination of Miami she said it on the loudspeaker and all the other passengers knew that we had complained to her for not fulfilling the itinerary., The departure time to Miamia was scheduled at 4 pm, however we left at 2pm for Miami.... with some passengers who had enjoyed the beach, were drunk and continue dringing and bought more drinks inside the bus. loud singing (if you call that sing), drank, said bad words and even danced with the bus running ..... (We visited some further north and south as well as Key Biscayne. All of those were more crowded and dirtier) It is a perfect place if you are looking for a quiet, safe place to stay to enjoy laying out and being peaceful. If you are in Miami for the party life of course staying in south beach is better for that but I prefer quiet myself. The room was very clean accept for the floors. I tend to go barefoot. The bed was very nice! As was my moms. In other reviews I read that they used to have bad beds but it seems to have been fixed. We stayed in one of the shared bathroom and living space rooms and it wasn't at all unpleasant. We only shared the bathroom and living space with one other person and she wasn't bothersome. The staff was super nice and friendly and let us check in late and check out late because of our late flights. Over all I am giving it 5 stars for what it is, a nice place to stay in the price range it is that is in a great location! I would come back :)

The service was awful, there was no vegetarian food for me to eat, the weather wasn't great, and it was getting rundown. We decided to give it another chance with all the new renovations, and we're glad we did. We had a much better stay this time. I'll start with the pros and cons. Pros Jackie, Paula and Ashard - amazing Butlers Huge pools West pool is heated Pool volleyball net always up/played a lot Ocean water is very pretty crystal blue Private island Food trucks are nice for snacks Decent restaurant options Decent nightlife Butler rooms can get White Claw! Baha Mar down the street Short flight Nice airport Clearing Immigration for the US in the Bahamas Much nicer resort than before renovations Cons Very expensive - most we've ever paid at Sandals Even renovated rooms aren't great Weather is questionable West pool is heated, but not hot, and still iffy in colder months All pools should be heated Could use more restaurants No lunch buffet It's an older resort, so the layout is a little strange, and certain areas still seem dated Our Butlers were incredible. Jackie met us the second we stepped out of our private transfer and had champagne waiting for us. Our Butler preferences were done for us, and anytime we called for anything they brought it quickly. They were wonderful. Our room, despite being the most we've ever paid, was a little odd. The sitting area with the TV is wasted space, and there easily could be a couch or something else in there. The bathroom is OK, but I didn't like the towels being in bins on the floor. The shower was huge. The pool was rather small, and so was the table outside. We usually eat breakfast outside, but ate in the sitting area because that table was small. I don't think the pool was heated, but I saw a good suggestion online. You can use the sprayer from the tub and heat the pool with it. That tub water is hot! Our Butlers also ran us a few baths, and that tub is very nice. The Island Village is nice because the resort is pretty small, so it makes it fell bigger when your room is over there. You really don't have any reason to go to that part of the resort if your room isn't there. I'm not sure we'd stay in them again though. We could hear everything in the hallway of our building, and Butlers come to the other rooms every morning, so that woke us up. And if they called any room in the building, our phone rang. If we go back, I think I'd go with an oceanfront Butler room here. There's not really a need for a swim up because the 2 main pools are huge. Nightlife here the first time was not great. It was much better this time. We don't really go to shows, but there were several bars open late, and lots of people at them. The Silent Party was really fun. All the bars could use more bartenders though. Even during the day. The swim up bar, the piano bar and the pub usually only had one bartender, and that's not enough. We were there with friends, and usually hung out outside the pub until 2am. The Grove or the pub were the late night places to be. We got late night food there a few times, too, and it's was very good. Or maybe I was tired and hungry, lol One thing I do need to touch on is the food. Everything was ok, or even good, but nothing was great. Barbados has the best Sandals for by far. At this resort, I liked Soy best. We ate there twice. The coffee food truck was nice, but the coffee machine broke most days. Breakfast was all just ok. The crunchy French toast at some Sandals is amazing. This one was just meh. The airport really needs a Club Mobay type service. We were in the first row on our plane, and waited 45 minutes at Immigration. And the Sandals lounge is small and doesn't have anything but water. I'd definitely pay for a VIP service. But clearing Immigration on the way home in the Bahamas is amazing! The biggest issue here is probably the weather. Our first trip here was in April and there was a wind storm, and no one was in the pools for 2 days. The West pool is heated now, but that's it. And it's not hot. It's warm, and you can really feel it if you stand right over one of the heaters. But the pool is very big, so it only does so much. Weather is questionable here almost 6 months of the year. And for the price you have to pay to stay here, there's no excuse that all the pools aren't heated all the time. The main reason I may not return to this resort is the weather. We've been in April and December, and had semi chilly weather both times. Being cold really doesn't bother me, but if you're on a Caribbean vacation, nothing should be chilly. Few things u should know if u've never been to south beach. This is in the heart of the action…read more It's loud music outside ur window til 3 or 4 am. When booking ur lead to believe this is an independent hotel hut its actually the ugly stepsister to the neighboring breakwater hotel where u check in. Once in u are given ur key (which rarely worked and is needed to make the evelvator work) and told to access ur hotel room through the back of a busy ice cream shop. The third floor stunk of mold and the cleaning agent that was used to cover its smell). Tthe room appeared clean but when doing my checkout under the bed check I noticed a pizza box from a past customer as well as a pair of ladies sandals. ( had they fit I might have gave this place three stars) Things like this make u question the cleanliness of a room U have just shared with a thousand strangers and as I ride t the airport I feel compelled to warn other customers... or the hotels management of the laziness of its cleaning staff. The only cons were... our room was literally right at the pool. So we couldn't open our drapes if we wanted privacy. It was strange to have to go thru the ice cream shop to get to the hotel. Needs its own entrance. And our key card never worked for the elevator. We took the stairs our entire stay. Thank goodness we were only on the second floor.

The bottom layer of the tiramisu was more liquid than solid! The pool is trashed and the small stores in the lower lobby are filthy too. There is one store on the main lobby that sells candy, coffee, and stuff like that but you can barely walk because of how much stuff is there. Horrible place and if you think you should stay because the price is low. I'm letting you know that you are going to get what you pay for.
