We were served by David, who was very patient with us trying out our very limited Spanish vocab skills. He was constantly smiling and didn't seem to resent speaking to us in English. We ordered a variety of tapas between 4 of us, including flavoursome anchovies, super-fresh calamari, a local octopus stew and some very brave patatas bravas! Overall it was a great experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. The prices are a bit high but the overall experience is one to remember. I will be back the next time I make it to this part of Spain.

Don't be fooled by the fish restaurants on the front. They are not what you see is what you get. Most of the staff at the Baydal have worked there for donkey's years.
