Not only was it decorated SO cute, want to talk about Instagram able this place is it! But the service was amazing as well, our waitress was so personable and easy to talk to. She walked us through all of our questions and even helped me pick out my first Sake! But most importantly... the food. There wasn't a single thing we ordered that wasn't to DIE for. We got the crispy rice, the mozzarella sticks, a sushi roll, the drunken noodles and the chicken katsu Sando. While I could write a dissertation on how amazing this food was I can just say I would drive 7 hours back to Cleveland just to get this food again

Lots of food options (full-size entrees) for great deal prices, and an assortment of drink offers. We had the Spirited Away (very sweet) and Mango Sticky Rice (also very sweet) cocktails with our dinner. While the spirited away was a little too sweet for me, the mango sticky rice was so good and hit the spot. You could definitely taste the sweet rice flavor, and the drink was beautifully crafted. Our food came in huge proportions. I think the fries were my favorite though because the furikake seasoning gave it a special taste. I think they were some of the best fries I've had in a while, honestly. Hosts and servers were great and the food came out very fast. Our server was always making sure she cleared our dishes and that we had everything we needed. 10/10 happy hour!

The decor sculptures made with forks and spoons and knives were a fun and unique greeting upon entry. They have a good variety of dishes, and the service was great. They have some sushi (small pieces but you can take as many as you want), a MTO hibachi option, and hot dishes as well as some cold options and dessert. They did not have orange chicken or miso soup, but the vegetable lo mein and vegetable egg rolls were great and I loved the green beans and mushrooms as well. I live in Indy and have two regular joints. This one was better than ours for sure. The fish was the correct temperature (not super-cold) it was fresh and delicate. There is beer and wine and one of the friendliest servers I've met in a long time. If I lived here, I would go at least once a week. The prices were very reasonable as well. Everything was clean but the staff seemed disgusted that people were coming in at 8pm... you are located in a college town. I ordered two bowls both with purple rice. She went on saying "it's a base not a topping" I've been to bibibop over 50 times in the last 3 years, and have never gotten that comment, I've always been given a small scoop that is topping size. Unsure if she didn't want them to have to make more because they were low or what but it really put a bad taste in my mouth. There was 2 other girls working who were very sweet and kind of looked like "unsure why she did that" but it's whatever. At this point I rather drive to the canton or independence locations to not be treated poorly.

Had a conversation with the owner about their travels and his wife, the chef experience with a variety of Asian cooking. Everyone was friendly and we had great service. Not sure why they would use these type of chairs does not add any feeling of coziness or comfort to the dining experience and it's a shame because their food deserves better.

The General Tso chicken was a letdown across the board. No heat, barely any sauce, and the lightly steam broccoli came out cold and wet, which made my crispy chicken a soggy lukewarm mess. That's a fundamental execution issue. A friend ordered the ramen and had it worse -- crunchy noodles and a cold soup base. Cold ramen broth isn't a style choice, it's a mistake. Front of house compounded the experience. Slow, visibly uncertain, and in clear need of training. You can tell the staff wants to do well but hasn't been given the tools to get there. That's a management problem. The bones of a decent restaurant are here. Right now the food and service aren't meeting the standard the presentation promises that a mid price Asian pacific restaurant needs to hit.
