This was my first time visiting, and I was primarily there to support/enable her shoe addiction! The displays were eye-catching and clean. We looked around the store, and she selected several pairs that she wanted to try on. For the next two hours, she received outstanding service as box after box was presented for her consideration--including items that were in her size but in such limited stock that they were no longer on the floor. (She ended up getting 10 pairs!!) While I can't say that all the Fluevog shoes are my cup of tea, there was a pair of liquid-smooth, glossy red pumps that kept calling me back throughout the visit, especially as I had brought my can't-miss-it red dress to NYC for Broadway Bares. I asked if I could try them on toward the end of the shoe-saga, and they were so powerful and sultry. However, were tight in the toe box, so my Fluevogologist (as I learned they are called), gently and precisely used a tool to provide just slightly more stretch to mold to my feet. She also gave me detailed care instructions, although she noted they were generally quite forgiving with storage and wear. Look, these shoes aren't cheap, but they also aren't "designer" in the way that they look pretty but will fall apart if you breathe on them too hard. They are hand-crafted and built to last. I've never owned shoes like this before, and while these certainly won't work for everyday footwear, it will be hard to miss them when I walk into a room! I appreciated the excellent service throughout the visit, and these shoes will now be the perfect finishing touch when I want to make a statement with an outfit!

Sadly all the stores that were there many years ago have closed and just a couple. This one was interesting with so many clothes and misc items stacked inside. We went in, said hello, mentioned we were looking for Indian wedding clothes. When my husband found something he wanted to try, Ruchi responded and said "you cannot try that on. You said you are just looking, not buying right?" My husband responded by saying "How could I know if I'm buying something if I don't try it on?" She reiterated that since he had stated he was "just looking" that he would not be allowed to try any clothes on. At that point we realized we would not want to shop/buy anything there so we left the store. Thankfully, across the street at Vintage India a very nice young lady assisted us and we had great success in trying on/buying several outfits as was our goal. Ruchi could not have been more rude in response to our friendly hello. It was very upsetting and unexpected. Unclear if she was racist? We are Asian American...perhaps she dislikes Chinese people? Just bizarre and have never been treated so poorly before. We will never step back into this store again!

I walked in looking for Dansko shoes to try on and had heard they had a huge selection. Turns out they have a huge selection of everything! Uggs, Born, Mephisto and more. Daniel was so helpful in trying on different sizes and types of Dansko shoes, and even after paying, he insisted I try on another size instead just "to be sure" the one I got was right. It was, and that extra effort to make me (a customer) happy is what makes people coming back for decades. Congrats, Daniel, on such a successful small business. I'll be back! 5 stars!!!!

The shoe is now being repaired and will be returned to me in 2 weeks! Don't waste your time with these shoes, unless you want to pay to repair them after wearing them once. They are indeed in a category all their own in terms of comfort and functionality. I love how they feel plush and substantial while still feeling flexible and breathable on my feet. I also love that so far all the pairs I've purchase over the years are still in rotation, holding up long enough to make the higher price point worth it (IMO). 4/5 stars though only because their customer service REALLY went downhill last year around the holidays. I made a purchase this last holiday season for myself and some family members - the order included socks and slippers - some of them seasonal styles. I ordered the first day they offered black friday deals, which I think was the week of Thanksgiving in 2025. I kid you not, they took my money and then didn't send me any updates until I emailed them around December 15 asking where my order was. They were really unapologetic and when I emailed again on Dec. 20 saying these were for Christmas and I needed them the response was that if I wasn't happy I could try and cancel my order. I was lucky because despite tracking saying otherwise they did miraculously arrive the next day, but their social media pages were just flooded with folks having similar experiences. In the past I've had a shipping or delivery snafu here and there but they have always made it right. Often just sending a new pair without a return even needed. I had thought they had top tier customer service, but will now tread a bit lighter with ordering and might even try to branch out and try some more brands in the future.
