Very friendly and compassionate staff as well as helpful. Told me to wait in the waiting room and as soon as the vet takes a look they will place me in a room where the vet will give me my options on the prognosis of my baby's ailment. Vet was very helpful and honest on the options that were given to us. If your pet needs to stay for observation you can book an appointment to have visit with your baby. By the way my baby is doing very well now. They took very good care of my baby. This Animal Hospital is new and has been at this location since August 2024. Let me first tell you how much you are expected to spend each time. in 2024, my dog was referred to VCA for tooth extraction that costed me over $ 5,000. In 2025, my another dog had emergency checkup and follow-ups, totaling over $2,500. In 2026, my dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis. One emergency visit costed me $1,500. The vet offered me for hospital stays that costed $1,200 per night. I refused but told her I would bring my dog back if he was not improving. My dog was discharged and that's the end of the story from this vet. Normally ( I mean literally every time) vets in this hospital or any others will call within two days to follow up. Not her. I emailed her a day later for some of my concerns. NO RESPOND! Finally I called the hospital to speak with her, but just got a message through the receptionist who indicated that my dog was discharged so there was no reason to follow up!! I have to get some more medication for my dog, so the vet told the receptionist that they would call me when it was ready. That was yesterday, she literately takes more time than human pharmacy. Tomorrow I have to call again!! This is the most untimely services I have ever received in 8 years as a pet owner!!! I think the vet is untimely and insensitive in providing her services. We brought our dog in to have a cracked nail looked at. We initially came in for a simple nail trim…read moreand were told the vet had to do an exam, which was quoted at $60. Shortly after, we were told our dog would need to be sedated and have the nail fully removed, with a quoted cost of $680. The nail may have been cracked for a few days already and was not bleeding, not infected, and not bothering him at all. Because of this, the recommendation felt extremely excessive. Given that it was New Year's Day and one of the only clinics open, it honestly felt like we were being taken advantage of. Dr. Navdeep Singh was very cold and not personable. The interaction felt rushed and uncomfortable, and it seemed like scare tactics were being used to push us into an unnecessary procedure. We trusted our gut and declined, asking instead for the broken part of the nail to simply be clipped so we could follow up with our regular vet when they reopened. After seeing our regular vet, we were advised that they would not have removed the nail after examining it and that the proper course was simply to keep it clean and dry. This further confirmed that the initial recommendation was unnecessary. We were also told it would be $40 just to bandage the nail, which felt unreasonable for something so basic. At that point, it really seemed like every small step came with an added charge, and it gave the impression that the focus was more on making money than providing appropriate care. After leaving, we reviewed the bill and saw we were charged $110 total -- $80 for the visit and $25 for a nail trim -- which did not align with what we were initially told. At that point we just wanted to leave, but we will be calling to speak with management. Grrrr - pretty mad right now!…read more We are just home from this vet clinic just now with our 2 indoor cats RE vaccinations and yearly check ups. On the phone a couple of weeks ago, my husband was quoted $85 per cat for check up and shots. That is what I was used to paying in another province, so we were good to go. Close to our new home, this clinic was our choice and it was our first time there today. The paperwork to be filled out was normal, took a bit but afterwards, the vet was prompt, courteous and kind to our fur babies. No complaints about his care and his availability to answer questions and talk to us. He even detected that one of our cats had a heart murmur which he was born with, without us even having told him. (OR he simply looked at our cat's history chart obtained from our previous vet in ON, hard to say for sure) What pisses me off is that the bill came to $315, almost double what we were quoted on the phone. They knew going in we just wanted the basic shots but they added another $50 for rabies (needed yes, but we figured that was in the basic cost, was just surprised) and another $80 (deworming pills - not needed). What we budgeted for is not what we paid and although they went over the bill with us at the end, they had to know we were ticked. I know that vets shaft often and that pet owners are at their mercy. BUT I encourage anyone going to this clinic to go over the costs IN PERSON prior to your pet being seen. The clinic loses 2 stars for its billing procedures. We want to keep a good relationship with them but there needs to be some accountability and professional etiquette.
