It's far enough away from the busy Pigeon Forge but close enough to just hop in the car to go eat or shop. Don't forget to try out the Ziplines and tell them you're staying there, 50% off if you do. Big gas grill with two tanks of gas, yea we took advantage of that and grilled some steaks!! Real honest issues. Basement was cold but with the heaters it made it tolerant. Maybe a split A/C unit would fix it. No matter what we set the thermostat on it would always go back to 68. I even set it to 72, pressed hold but it kept changing. We were hoping to heat the basement more than it was, plus it was a bit chilly with the temps being around 32. Hot water heater is not large enough or there was a larger issue. I as well as others could not take a complete shower without the water going cold. I knew from hearing the others so I used warm water, I was only able to wash my hair and was left rinsing with cold water. When we arrived the hot tub was cold, 68 degrees. We were kinda wanting to use it but with it being that cold it wasn't gonna heat up in time. No big deal breaker though just because we couldn't use the tub. All in all it was a great stay and quit honestly the best cabin we've stayed at. Since we are local we've stay in many cabins throughout the years. We would definitely rent again and I would encourage others to do the same!

Cabin is close enough to town to enjoy restaurants and attractions, but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet and nature. Then Ginger answered the phone at Oak Haven like she was manning the phone for the Lord's personal office. She found an available unit with the bedding we needed that she could offer the best rate on for same day check-in. And did it all with the sweetest, kindest and most helpful demeanor. And seemed genuinely interested in helping us get out of the dilemma we were in at the current cabin we'd rented elsewhere. She was a Godsend in a wretched moment where I was ready to pack up and head home! She assured us their office was open for check in til 10pm so there was no reason to change our days plans and race over. We loaded up and went about our day trying to forget what had come before. When we arrived we were met by Josie I believe her name was? I was a lot calmer and not as desperate by this time so she wasn't blazed in my mind quite the same way Ms Ginger was, but this young lady was equally delightful! And.. as a 50 yr old female I feel ok saying it was very refreshing how she was dressed and presented herself! She boosted my hope in younger people! Anyhow, obviously their customer service was a delight..you arrive and the office is at the foothill of the entrance to the resort.. a quick stop for check in, meet their delightful staff- heck grab a fresh coffee, its there! They have a map of the resort, they'll highlight the best path to get to your cabin! The gated resort has a pool, an arcade I believe and a playground maybe other things but we were already pretty planned out. Arriving at the cabin...1st thing we saw was a hard lined propane gas grill, no worries about providing your own tank or running out half way through dinner... and there was a charger by the porch for an electric vehicle. The cabin itself, #54 was a 2br..the entire upstairs was a bedroom w 2 queen beds and an full bathroom. Down stairs was an open concept w a living room, a game area with a retro arcade console, pool table, foosball, board games, extra couch seating - kitchen complete w everything needed large seating area, washer/dryer and a large master w a king, a soaker tub and an en suite bathroom with walk in shower. The screened in porch had lots of seating options, a full patio table rocking chairs, 2 porch swings, lights, ceiling fans, a large hot tub w steps and a handle, and towels hanging by the hot tub!! The beds were all comfortable, everything worked as expected, there was an abundance of towels and kitchen linens, they had after hours emergency #s posted for maintenence emergencies. The resort itself is lovely and is built around a mountain side... the drive through it isn't treacherous, but is steep in areas and might need to be a consideration if you're coming in a winter month, there also wasn't any splendid views to be had other than the beauty of the surrounding area, which has been well preserved and cabins positioned in a way to still seem remote and private. I can honestly say for future visits to the area, Oak Haven will always be where I check out 1st. I truly appreciated all they did to salvage our stay! Thanks so much!

We have dined here before, and this experience was every bit as wonderful as we remembered. We both ordered the perfectly seasoned Burgundy Marinated Ribeyes, grilled exactly to our preference. Every bite was tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. For my sides, I chose the Crispy Cornmeal Fried Okra and Roasted Potatoes, while my husband had the Cauliflower and Broccoli Mix with Roasted Potatoes. I have to give a special shout-out to the fried okra--it was, without a doubt, the best fried okra I have ever eaten, and I'm from the South, so that says a lot! Our evening started with fresh house salads and our choice of dressing, accompanied by homemade bread. There was also a carafe of water with a crystal bowl of lemon slices and a dish of softened, creamy butter that was absolutely delicious spread over the warm, soft homemade bread. Those little details really added to the experience. And then came dessert! The homemade desserts were both delicious and generously portioned. We tried the Blueberry Chess Pie with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. It reminded me of a buttermilk pie with blueberries, and it was absolutely delicious. We also had the Apple Cobbler, served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The cobbler had a light cake-like base rather than a heavy dough, with just the right amount of sweetness and cinnamon. The edges were perfectly crispy--just like all good cobblers should be! Needless to say, we left pleasantly full, and I even took some of my meal home with me. This is one set of leftovers I cannot wait to dig into! Another unexpected highlight of our evening was the view from the side dining area. We sat by the windows overlooking the greenery and the chicken coop. I was completely entertained watching the chickens come out of their coop, cross the little dirt road, wander into the bushes on the other side, and then eventually make their way back through the shaded grass toward the front yard and coop as dusk settled in. It was such a peaceful and charming part of the evening. I also have to mention the Creamy Herb Chicken. Our daughter ordered it the last time we dined here, and we tried the crème fraîche herb sauce that came with it. Oh my goodness--it was to die for! My husband didn't remember that the sauce only comes with that particular chicken dish, so now we have the perfect excuse to come back soon so we can all enjoy it! Overall, I give our experience a 10 out of 10 for the ambiance, quality, generous portions, flavor, and attention to detail. Some of our favorite aspects of this bed and breakfast include: our "Sugarlands" room with an amazing jacuzzi tub facing the outdoors, fresh baked goodies each night at 6:30 pm, the four resident kitties (our favorite being Mittens), the relaxing wrap around porch, and last but not least, the legendary breakfast. We looked forward to the breakfast and the Chef's creations each morning. I loved how they accommodated some of my dietary requests. The eggs were farm fresh, and a beautiful yellow hue. The fresh fruit with the fruit topping quickly became our favorite! Also, they have a well stocked coffee and tea station and cold drinks in the fridge that guests can help themselves to during any time of the day. So, if you're looking for a truly unique stay in the Smoky Mountains with spectacular views and mouthwatering breakfasts, look no further!! We don't come for the attractions; we come to spend three days together under one roof, so for us, the cabin IS the vacation. We had previously stayed with American Patriot Getaways and had been trying to book Don't Blink for two years, specifically because of the bowling alley and game room. Last year, I booked it the day reservations opened--a full year in advance. Our kids and grandkids had been looking forward to it ever since. Don't Blink is marketed as a "Luxury Plus" property, with the private bowling alley prominently featured. We paid $4,546 for our three-night Friday-to-Monday stay. At 11 a.m. Friday, we received a text saying the cabin was ready early. When we arrived around 4 p.m., however, we immediately discovered the bowling alley and skee-ball machine had no balls and were unusable. I called immediately and was initially told maintenance might come that evening or Saturday morning. No one came Friday. Saturday morning passed with no technician and no proactive communication. When I called again around noon Saturday, I was told they "only have one maintenance technician," it was Labor Day weekend, and other cabins had more serious problems, including guests without water. Of course guests without water should be prioritized. But having only one maintenance technician available during a busy holiday weekend is the company's staffing problem, not the customer's. If you rent this many cabins during a holiday weekend, you should have the resources to support them. I called AGAIN later Saturday and asked for a manager. Instead of a call, I received a TEXT saying a manager wasn't available and someone would contact me after the weekend. Maintenance finally arrived around 5 p.m. Saturday--approximately 25 hours after we reported the problem. Previous guests had apparently jammed the bowling balls in the machine. The technician fixed it and returned the skee-ball balls. Things break. We understand that. What I don't understand is why this wasn't discovered before a cabin marked "ready" was turned over to the next guests--especially when it involved one of the property's signature amenities. More importantly, it was the customer service that made this experience so disappointing. There was no urgency or proactive communication. We made every follow-up call and were made to feel as though expecting the amenities we paid for to work was unreasonable. After our stay, a supervisor texted and offered $350 for the inconvenience. I declined. This wasn't about trying to get money back. We paid $4,546 for three nights in a "Luxury Plus" cabin. I don't think expecting a clean, properly inspected property, working advertised amenities, and responsive customer service is unreasonable. There were cleanliness and maintenance issues as well. Half the TV remotes didn't work, the master bathroom smelled like urine, one bed still had candy wrappers in it, and our feet were black from the floors each day. The trash bin was also far too small for a cabin accommodating up to 22 people, and guests must call to request pickup--another unnecessary inconvenience for a large-group property. We didn't expect perfection. Equipment breaks and holiday weekends are busy. What matters is how a company responds. Seventeen members of our family traveled from four states for a weekend we'd planned a year in advance. The bowling alley was eventually fixed, but American Patriot Getaways' response--and the feeling that our concerns simply didn't matter--is what I'll remember most. For $4,546 and a property marketed as "Luxury Plus," both the cabin and the customer service fell far short of reasonable expectations.

Fortunately it was still daylight and I could see to slowly back down. If it had been night time we would probably of gone off the road or worse. The whole ordeal has been extremely traumatic. We were so looking forward to this special 30 Anniversary trip. Instead we frantically had to find somewhere to stay. I reached out to Summit but the woman on call only expressed that she was in no way in any kind of authority to to refund or help us. We were left helpless and stranded with no support. She said she was sorry but I should have known and asked more questions before booking . Nothing in their listings or communications warned of the accessibility issues of driving to the cabin for some people. This ruined the start to mine and my wife's joyful 30 Wedding Anniversary. Fortunately we found lodging on our own but are being given the runaround by Summit concerning a full refund.

Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by a very disappointing situation regarding the pool table. A full week after our departure, I received a request for $450 for alleged damage to the pool table felt. As I mentioned to the host, the table already showed visible signs of deterioration when we arrived. On top of that, the pool cues were not in optimal condition -- none of them had proper tip padding, which naturally increases the chances of damage over time. The table was simply not in a condition that allowed for safe or proper use. Additionally, the space where the table is located is extremely tight, making it nearly impossible to play comfortably without the cues hitting the walls or being forced into awkward angles. This setup alone creates a higher risk of wear and tear, regardless of how careful guests try to be. While I acknowledge that it's possible my son may have contributed to the existing damage, it's difficult to accept full responsibility when the equipment was already worn and not adequately maintained. What felt even more discouraging was the very high charge for something so minor, especially after how well we treated the cabin and how clean we left it. This situation left us feeling blamed rather than understood, and unfortunately it overshadowed what could have been a great experience. For these reasons, I cannot recommend Summit Cabin Rentals, and I hope future guests are treated with more fairness and consideration.

The cabins are all situated for privacy and you feel very secluded yet you can get yourself out there if you want too! The location is perfect. Only 20 minutes from major attractions in the Gaitlenburg/pigeon forge area. We were fortunate enough to meet and chat with the owners. Such great people! They have been in the hospitality industry for years and know the simple touches that make a vacation complete. I didn't forget the best part of the cabin!!! The soaking tub and porch. The porch is complete with privacy screens and hanging lights. A perfect end to a long day of sight seeing. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Was clean and the kids really enjoyed the indoor pool. Lovely area and quiet. Plenty of room inside for the whole family. 1st negative - First night we noticed that there were not any pillow cases on any of the beds, they were delivered later in the evening. 2nd negative - The sink in the master bedroom on the first floor would not drain. This caused some minor issues since everyone used this bathroom when on the main level. We had to wait until late afternoon the next day for a repair which included replacing the complete drain and pipes below sink. The repair person was very professional. 3rd negative - It would be nice to have hangers in the closet and some hooks in bathrooms to hang personal items. As we were preparing to leave on our last morning - getting all items packed for 4 kids under 7 and four adults, I inadvertently left my expensive Dyson hair dryer in a drawer in the main bathroom and to top that off, my husband left his wedding ring on top of the dresser. I contacted the Bear Tracks management number to report our mishap. They stated that they would have the cleaners check the cabin. Two more times I emailed and was told the items were not found. I'm pretty upset at myself for forgetting my Dyson dryer, but I am really disappointed with the Bear Tracks team. I do not want to make accusations against them, but I find it really shady that they just disappeared and the cleaning team "couldn't find" them.

They have refused to take responsibility for multiple serious issues during our stay and have since made false claims about what was offered or resolved. The only "accommodation" they ever provided was an offer for amusement park tickets (which we declined), later replaced with a mere $200 refund. This was before the incomplete installation of a portable cooler that leaked water all over the floor--causing my special needs daughter to slip and fall. Instead of addressing the hazard, they accused us of disconnecting the unit, which is completely false. To make matters worse, after five days of using the same entry code without issue, we were locked out of our own cabin and told we "no longer knew the code." The entire experience was unprofessional, dismissive, and far from what any guest should expect--especially from a company managing vacation properties. I would strongly caution anyone considering Bear Tracts Cabins. Their lack of accountability, misleading statements, and disregard for guest safety speak volumes about how they operate.

PROS/CONS-Smokey Mountain Memories-15 bedroom…read more Let me start off with the CONS: This isn't exactly a CON but something to be aware of, the roads are windy and sharp, and everyone seems to drive rather fast around the windy and sharpen curves. On some roads there are mirrors to see individual vehicles as you navigate the roads but not a lot. The family drove cars, and SUV's, which was no issue getting to the cabin, (but during the winter you may want to double check how you are getting to the cabin as far as what to drive). Once the family made it to the Cabin they were apprehensive to leave because of the windy, sharp curves of the roads. I would ensure my vehicle had good tires, brakes, and no transmission issues. The picture of the outside of the Cabin isn't what is was shown online. I believe it was an earlier photo, as it shows green grass almost like sod, and from the pictures we thought the surface to park was flat. It is an incline, we parked along the sides of the driveway and got 11 vehicles parked, it isn't flat as i noted above make sure you have good brakes. That was no issue for us , just something to be aware of if you have a larger family who all drive from all areas. There are 2 charcoal grills, this something we weren't aware of, from what we were told when i called, i was told the grills would be propane and we didn't bring charcoal, which isn't a big deal, it takes about 15-20 min to get down to the bottom of the mountain to Walmart. The pictures that you see online are propane grills attached to the cabin. Just bring charcoal if any out door cooking. Did not like the 2 Jacuzzi's that did not work sitting in the front/side of the cabin, it takes away from the cabin, in my opinion, it looks like they are permanent fixtures. We had a few maintenance issues/ door to the roof not opening water dripping from upstairs they sent someone to fix the issue quickly. That was great. PROS: Check-in had no issues. The Cabin accommodated our large family with plenty of space on the inside, 2 dishwashers, 2 large refrigerators, 4 microwaves, 3 stoves, 1 that the fixture had to be fixed, we only needed to use 2 of the stoves. The kitchen was stocked pretty well with what we needed to cook. Plenty of space to eat and move about and enjoy the mountains on the covered deck. No complaints. Bedrooms were spacious loved that they all came with bathrooms, and TV's no one had to share.. However there were 2 rooms that had no tv, they were the bunkbed rooms upstairs. The view on the roof top was beautiful you can see the city view with the added telescope and this is where the 2 Jacuzzi's are located. The 2 jacuzzis could have been cleaner. The indoor pool are was very nice, and a bathroom was located in the pool area. Washer/dryer was utilized, along with game room downstairs a plus. The biggest add on bonus that i did not see from the pictures was the drink machines, just like the fast food establishment this was a big plus, never ran out of drinks. Last but not least, we got visitors all 3 days, we stayed, the first bear we saw when driving up to the cabin walking up the road in front of our vehicle. The others made a guest appearance around the cabin. All in all a successful trip.

The only items available are dining wear, everything else must be supplied by the visitor. So, for the stay, our stay was subpar. All the issues listed below were reported during the stay, but no response or corrective action was received. We left a day early and stayed near the airport for a day of comfort. Here are a few of the highlights. -The single comforter provided had visible holes, indicating poor maintenance. -Dust was present on all surfaces above five feet, suggesting that cleaning was superficial and limited to only easily reachable areas. -The washing machine operated only with hot water, limiting its functionality. -The dishwasher, while operational, had melted racks, making it impractical for proper loading and cleaning. -The pool table had tears in the fabric, rendering it unsuitable for use. -The arcade game machine's joysick only functioned intermittently and supported single-player mode only. -The jacuzzi was visibly dirty, containing unknown debris and oily residue, making it unsanitary and unusable. Now for the last is actually the biggest, security: Upon check-in, the company took a photocopy of our credit card--both front and back. In 2026, this practice is outdated and poses a significant security risk. Due to the exposure of full card details, we had to cancel and replace our credit cards immediately upon returning home. This experience fell significantly below expected standards for a rental cabin, particularly in terms of upkeep, cleanliness, guest support, and data security but yes, the mountains are nice and I enjoyed the view.

Our cabin has everything we need. We had a king bed, bunk beds, 2 big couches, TVs, toilet with built in bidet, pool table, arcade, air hockey table, hot tub, and Jacuzzi. Lots of towel, soaps, detergents, soaps for dishwasher, all kitchen supplies (Knife, cutting board, dishes, salt & pepper, etc) and charcoal grill. A gorgeous resort with an amazing view overlooking the Smoky Mountains…read more I traveled here with a group, we all shared the cost of renting a 7-bedroom house. The house was spacious and felt simultaneously spacious and cozy. With a jacuzzi on the balcony, swinging benches on the other balcony, a pool table, foosball table, and a couple arcade games, it was definitely a fun place to stay with friends. I'd also recommend it with family! The views were fantastic as well. The location is nestled somewhat behind Dollywood. It shouldn't be too hard to find, but just be wary because the entrance does sneak up on you somewhat as you're driving in.
