If you are looking for an agent to buy or sell your house, stop looking. John is your guy…read more At the beginning of the year, John sold my mom's house. He led us through the benefits of giving the inside of the house a fresh coat of paint and having it staged. He was the only agent we interviewed that actually had suggestions on how to get a higher price for the home. In the end we sold the house for more than $100,000 over what other agents thought it would sell for and this was in a location that was not getting that kind of over-asking prices. After mom's house sold we decided to buy a house in Burbank. We asked John to help us find a house. The bulk of John's business had been the San Gabriel Valley yet he trekked to Burbank anytime we wanted to see a house. We were very picky clients. We were looking for the perfect house for us at a specific price point. Once we found the right house, John walked us through the buying process with confidence and ease. During the looking and buying process, we interacted with a number of agents and we found John to be the most proficient and professional of them all.

SEAN RYAN IS A MAN WHO REPRESENTS THE BEST IN ALL OF US…read more Sean Ryan came into my life at the most fortuitous moment. That being after the back-to-back death of my late father and brother, I was faced with the prospect of caring for my beautiful 90 year old mom in one of two family residences. And happily (facing what seemed like insurmountable challenges I still don't know how I was smart enough to realize a good thing, and more importantly, the real deal when I saw it. Sean, simply stated, is gentleman energized by the outside world. A man who takes challenges with enthusiasm and fortitude, vitality and creativity. Warm and loving family man, socially impressive and professional (in all things) like no one I'd ever seen. Especially from a person I didn't yet know. This particular property was a former 'in-town' condominium I had in the Hollywood Hills. Beautiful and one that had served me well for 25 years. One that also needed some updating. To suggest that his efforts were Herculean, would be a massive understatement. Without fail, at each and every turn (inclusive of, but not limited to a major renovation) those whose talents he employed in this endeavor, continually demonstrated an eye for ethical behavior, nuance and philosophical complexity. Something sadly unusual in this modern-day business world. All, in my opinion, leads to betterment of the Real Estate industry, it's agents, as well as its patrons. He's honest. Hard working. Inspiring with a impressive skills of inculcating a person with ideals, attitudes and cognitive strategies or professional methodologies beyond reproach. Long story short. The result was impressive to a point of being to the first person who saw the property. I would be remiss that since then, he successfully assisted my late Mother with yet another real estate concern, and me with my current home. I will never be able to properly articulate my admiration and gratitude to Sean - except to humble suggest, that everyone should have a hero like Sean in their life.

In the past, when I've have carpets cleaned, the people that did it made a nice effort to move furniture and get under the beds. This did not happen. I was not home when they arrived, so my boyfriend let them in. They were here and gone in an hour, which seemed odd to me since they were cleaning three rooms. When I got home, I saw why. They didn't move a piece of furniture. I called them to ask why they didn't do under the beds and I was told it was because the rooms were small and they had no place to move them. While that may be true, the same does not apply for my sectional couch, which sits in a large room with lots of open space. The carpets were cleaned yesterday, we moved the couch today to put a rug down, and it was obvious the couch had not been moved at all and the carpet under it went uncleaned. It was very disappointing because the parts they bothered to do look really nice. Oh - and they charge $5 to use a debit card to pay. This was the most half assed carpet cleaning job I've ever seen. Edited to add in response: -The bed in the master is a queen, not a king sized bed, -I was aware that my cat had been sick under the bed and that it might not all come clean. That I understand. My issue was with the fact that so much was missed. I know my bedroom is small, but couldn't you at least have cleaned the carpet behind the door? Edited again to add: Apparentely we've pissed off the owner. If my boyfriend or I go "missing" in the next week or two ...

For luxury homes in the local area, Yorba Linda, such as Kerrigan Ranch, I needed someone who was familiar with the market. For instance, for the repairs necessary to close my home, Henry found me a handyman and was present for the repairs when I could not be present. Moreover, Sandy took on the responsibility of finding me a place/home to lease, because my home was sold so quickly. My home sold in 2 showings and had multiple offers; I received a full offer.
