Full disclosure... our first visit here was a disaster (but please read to the end). We were doing…read moresome internet car shopping and came in on the promise they would match the best price or "make it up to you". Arrived, got a price that was much higher and they were unable/unwilling to move. We left quite annoyed at the games. Next day I woke up thinking that was too bad... I still liked the car and even though I didn't like the games and message, everyone was very polite, personable and professional and those are qualities hard to find in the car market. I left their internet lady a message letting them know their price was way off and tried to crack the door open a tad. As lunch approached, I received a tentative call from Dorian, followed after lunch by a letter of apology from sales manager, April, offering to do their best to earn our business and an incredible offer. I called her, left a deposit, and said I'd be there right after work, adding that's I'd appreciate not going through the usual games. I went back halfway expecting the deal to fall apart quickly in the same games as the previous night. That turned out to be a wrong assumption Now for the review... My wife and I arrived, and we were treated to the smoothest and most pleasant new car buying experience I ever had. This was not low pressure, it was zero pressure. Dorian started us on the paperwork... then April came by the desk and laid out a few additional options we might consider. Dorian saw that the finance guy was tied up and lead us through a complete tour of the car and all the electronic gizmos it came with. Finally we got to the finance guy (the part of car buying I HATE the most). Here was Dave (the gentleman we dealt with the night before) and he too apologized for the night before, presented a few simple things we might consider (again - Zero pressure) and we simply signed the paperwork! The car, a black Forrester Touring, was prepped like it was going out on an important date. All details were polished and ready and nothing was left unattended to. So I don't know what happened the first day... I don't care (water under the bridge, etc. etc.). I can say that based on the sale last night, I FULLY RECOMMEND Delaware Subaru - they are polite, personable and professional. Give them a shot... maybe even two.

As I was coming from another state purchasing this car, I was instructed by the dealership to bring in a copy of my driver's license so they can process the rest of my information. I got my New Delaware license on April 15th, on that day I also gave the manger my driver's license to make copies. The manager at this campus never gave my information over to the DMV department so it is now three months passed do still not have my tags or my plate and now Subaru. Today I got a call requesting a copy of the driver's license and the woman on the phone told me she ever got the copies...... Now I was told that Subaru has to get me another temp tag, and it looks like I'm going to be waiting way longer than expected. This is my third Subaru and I love my Subaru, but I did not love the service that I received here at this campus. Next time I go to buy a car, you will definitely not see me at this campus....

We recently learned that in order to use many features of new automobiles such as Chevrolet (My…read moreChevrolet App) and others require a monthly subscription be paid. These features include Auto Start, Seat & Steering Wheel Warming etc. In addition, vehicles with On-Star tracks your driving habits and sell that information to insurance companies effecting you Auto Insurance Rates. It is ridiculous once you purchase a vehicle with these features you can not use them after a month and then find out you need to pay a monthly subscription. Making matters worse On-Star and similar companies are tracking your driving behavior and locations. We recommend before purchasing a vehicle look into these practices.

I just moved to the state and was working with someone who was actually interrogating me on my…read moreservices that were performed in the state that I lived in. I bought my NEW Mercedes in 2017 and it was a 2018. with 44 miles on it when I drove it home - every year I've taken the car to the dealership to get all the services A and Bs whatever for the first 7 years. I had my proof paperwork packed in my boxes I felt like the advisor implied - I changed the service indicator because he couldn't find anything In the MB records. At this particular dealership, the advisor came out in a crowded waiting room and interrogated me on all the services that I had had done. They were not in his system - so I asked him what was he implying.? he said he can't find them in the MB system - so that is not my issue. I read the Tuscan and I pay. . If the Mercedes-Benz dealership didn't enter it into the system in the state I moved from - it is not my issue. I told him I look at the screen and I take it in for service. The car is 8 years old this year in December and I only have a little over 35,000 miles on it. I have not missed a service appointment I actually tell them in my MB Review comments - I felt like I was interrogated on what's reading on my dash screen for what service needs to be performed in a crowded room. I' receive a response back from the Service Manager - , saying "thank you for asking questions". What questions do you have? It was obvious it was an AI response. I responded if you were reading my comments, you know that I didn't have a question, I had a complaint . He responded again. "We better talk about this on the phone" - yet nobody called me and then the next response I get is - we need to know more about the questions you want answer. I blocked the email address and unsubscribed it was in an AI or an actual Wilmington Mercedes-Benz loop and I don't have time to work with or give my money to companies who don't respect their customers or their complaints l. If I'm going to be interrogated in a crowded waiting room, and I just moved to the state, I will drive as far as I can to find the nearest professional - customer centered Mercedes-Benz dealership. Bryan Krantz was the best part about this place and he was not my advisor. He just got me started in the system because my "so called" advisor was not initially there.

The dealership had a vehicle I was interested in but I wasn't ready to purchase it on my initial visit. He didn't pressure me to make the deal he understood my position and I didn't get any emails or phone calls in between my visits. I let him know that I had made a decision and I would be there in 2 days to make the purchase. I asked him to please make sure the vehicle was detailed prior to my arrival. I got there and my wife had a small issue with the cleanliness. Omar reacted quickly and had the issue resolved in minutes. As I was saying goodbye to Omar he noticed the vehicle didn't have a full tank and he insisted I meet him at the gas station so he could top the tank off. I also have to mention Taylor. The vehicle I was trading in was 6 years old with high mileage. I was very satisfied with what Taylor gave me for the vehicle in trade. He also made sure to provide me with a Veteran discount that I had not asked for, Omar told him that my drivers license had identified me as a Veteran, and Taylor applied the discount. Bottom line is if you're in the market for an Audi make a beeline to Audi West Chester and ask for Omar and make sure you have Taylor evaluate your trade.

The splashguard on my 2018 Audi Q5 was damaged but repairable. I called a local mechanic who said…read morethey repaired these guards all the time. Still, I took it to Wilmington Audi figuring that is what they specialized in. There, I was told it could not be repaired. They said the cost to repair was $1,050 but offered to do it for $950 stating that it was the cost of the splashguard and that they would throw in the labor for free. In addition, they tore off a part of the splashguard in an obvious attempt to force me to return for a new one. I went back to the local mechanic who laughed at the $950 charge. When we researched the cost of a splashguard, we found that we could get one for much less than $100. We bought one and the local mechanic replaced the old one for free. I love my Q5 but will never return Wilmington Audi.
