We arrived in our big shred truck and the first thing I was asked by the front desk lady was if I had just arrived in the big truck and it was not saying in the parking lot over night right?!! Uhh ya, usually when you drive a vehicle to a hotel you park it in the parking lot. I was then told that usually when people drive larger vehicles they notify them ahead of time and so on. So she goes and gets the manager that proceeds to tell me multiple time people always call ahead (ok no need to keep telling me something that SHOULD have been done a long time ago) how all the rooms and parking spaces are all taken for the night and on and on. My husband then comes around and says that he will move it no problem. She proceeds to talk over him and keeps saying the same thing. At this point I am ready to just go to a different hotel because of how extremely rude they are. Now I have no problem owning up to I should have called ahead however I don't drive an oversize vehicle for my every day car so I didn't realize or even think of this issue. It was a Thursday night in May!! I get if you are just concerned about having enough space for all your guests but there is a way to approach and talk to people. My everyday job is scheduling and sales so I talk to people non stop and being rude is NEVER a way to talk to someone! That being said we left at 6:15am on Friday morning and our truck was taking up 1 and a quarter of another parking spot and in their two small parking lots there was at least 7 or 8 empty spots available!!! The room was nice and clean and the young man that assisted my husband with parking was very nice however my experience with the rude front dest lady and EXTREMELY rude manager will not have me going back! On the way in and out, both Ken and Laurel pointed out different local wildlife and educated us on different species of birds, whales, seals, etc in the area. We were also impressed with the Captain's professionalism and mariner expertise overall. We always felt safe and also appreciated a willingness to extend our trip time at no cost to ensure we found the Orca pods. The water was choppy on our day out, so we experienced the awesomeness of the Salish Sea as well as her beauty! Our two grandsons, age 12 and 14, really had fun. For all of us, the highlight of the trip was definitely seeing and hanging out with the two incredible Orca pods. It was memorable without compare. I was especially pleased that I was able to take some great video of the Orcas and wonderful photos of my grandchildren.

We enjoyed the proximity to the town and the amazing view of the water from the rooftop deck. The kids enjoyed the freedom to wander around town and look in the shops, and enjoyed the game store. We watched the parade that must have had everyone in town participating! We are not from a small town. This was fun for us. The king-sized bed was comfortable, and we had a room with a soaking tub and a giant shower. The pull-out couch was "ok" according to my son. One thing I will say that was missing was a common area indoors for people to meet up and socialize outside of the restaurant. We have traveled often with these families, and we like to find areas to play cards and spend time together. The food at the restaurant was good. We had a poor experience with one of the rooftop bartenders. He looked like he had been there a long time and really had no interest in answering questions or engaging with the town. His younger companion bartender was friendly and welcoming. Advice: In the evening, it cools down tremendously on the rooftop, so you will need blankets even though there are a couple of fireplaces for ambiance.

We triple confirmed that we would have two cribs, two car seats, and some type of acknowledgement for my daughters first birthday. Stephanie T. Confirmed via email multiple times to both my husband and we that we were all set. We even paid her directly and up front for the car seats. Upon arrival to Mexico they told us we didn't pay for the car seats yet and we couldn't put our babies in the car until we paid. We showed them email confirmation that we already paid and they still wouldn't budge. They didn't let us use the car seats, pulled them from the car and drove us there as is. I emailed Stephanie who responded immediately and said they can bill her there was a miscommunication and then later responded saying actually we have to pay them directly and she will refund the $80 but we will have to pay $80 for the car seats on the way from the hotel to the airport. ( which by the way there weren't any car seats for that trip) When we finally got to check into our room hours after our arrival there were no cribs. When I reached out to Stephanie she said it's up to us to call the front desk and coordinate that. This was surprising to us because what was the point of going through her at all if we had to do everything?/ I would have organized this prior to getting up to the room when our babies were completely exhausted. They brought up two old pack n plays with no mattresses. The wrapped blankets in sheets as the mattress which is not safe AT ALL. The most disappointing part was that it was my daughters first birthday and Stephanie confirmed that the hotel would definitely do something ( balloons, decorations, a special treat) but she wasn't sure what. The day came and nothing happened so I called the front desk who knew nothing about what I mentioned. They said they'd try to do something and never did. Overall, I'm unsure why we went through this company or used Stephanie because we could have done exactly what she did but way more efficiently. USE OVER THE MOON VACATIONS NEXT TIME
