Four weeks after canceling my contact they have yet to pick up the tank and credit my account. For what ever set of reasons it is impossible to make a call locally to talk with a state-side representative. It is an automated phone answering system that ships your call over-seas. I have difficulty understanding heavy accents and it is frustrating as their service advocates work off scripts and if your situation doesn't line up with their script you are wasting your time. Additionally, if you request for help falls under the category of refunds or service, you'll spend an addition 20 or more minutes on hold (if you are lucky). On price alone, you would be wise to do your research prior to signing on with this company. For my area of propane delivery, I have found Amerigas propane prices to be exorbitant almost double what I am paying for new propane service now. Bottom line. Look elsewhere for your propane services. NOTE: I originally had this propane service under MarGas and they were good (and local) but sold out to Amerigas.

I received a bill that says my account is overdue. I gave them my credit card number, which I use all the time and Amerigas indicates my card has expired. It is not expired. I have been calling Amerigas for two days and been put on hold for over three hours. I have tried their Chat app, but after you have sent your chat, the app states it is not available. I have paid the "overdue" statement and asked that someone contact me to resolve my issue. I am ready to change and find their customer service to be non-existent.

I understand people have bad days, but you're supposed to rise above that and be professional. In the end, the first guy calmed down a bit and I think we were good at that point. However, later when returning the trailer, a different older man came out and took over unhooking me, because apparently the fact that I'm a Class A CDL holder and law enforcement, I must be completely inept? He could have offered to see if I had it, but he pushed his way in and started talking trash under his breath. His friend must have told him about earlier. Petty older men who are controlled by their emotions have a tough time in a customer service setting, especially as they get up in the years and their relevence in their peer groups starts fading. Luckily, a female staff named Nika came out and stopped his unprofessionalism, and finished our return transaction. These gentleman need refresher training. I shouldn't be too concerned, the turn over at this location is high... none of them will likely be there in 6 months.

I called and was quoted a price. I gave them my card and expected to be charged. I looked a couple of days later and I wasn't charged. The person I talked to made a note to make sure the order went through. Again I was not charged. I called back and was told there was no record of my order. Of course they apologized but stated that I could not get the price per gallon I was quoted earlier because the price was higher. Instead of admitting their mistake and making confessions for their error they blamed and penalized the customer. This company does not believe the customer is always right. So I recently used this company to refill my propane and light the furnace and water heater. After…read morepaying for a pressure test and the service charge in full, I received my receipt and the technician assured me that both pilot lights were lit. I noticed shortly after that my furnace wasn't kicking on. I decided to check and make sure the pilot light was lit and in fact it was not. I called them back the following day to see if they could send a technician down to re-light and correct the faulty job they did the day before. To my disappointment they wanted to charge me for another pressure test and service charge equaling over 40% of my previous bill. I would not recommend using this greedy company that doesn't guarantee their work. Ironically I checked around afterwords with other propane companies and found that I could've gotten my tank filled at 20 cents less per gallon. My advice, go with another propane company as this one is run by crooks and inexperienced technicians.
