San Fransokyo is an area in Disney California Adventure Park based on the city in Big Hero 6. It opened in 2023 and was re-themed from Pacific Wharf. Its entrance is a torii-style bridge that symbolizes Japanese design but also looks like San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge. There are also nods to California food culture like the bakery tour sponsored by Boudin Bakery. It's mainly a food and drink area with a bunch of food shops and not much else. It's a good place to take a break and grab something to eat or drink, but if you're looking for a more thrilling area I would go elsewhere.

San Fransokyo was a highlight, especially with the holiday décor adding warmth and character to the area. The blend of cultures and seasonal details made it visually stunning. A popular menu item here is the teriyaki chicken, which was flavorful and satisfying. They offer clam chowder and a bread bowl- and it tastes just like you're in the City The food and festive atmosphere made this land especially memorable.

To be honest, I like the revamp. It made it more relevant to the rest of the park but I do appreciate they kept the Boudin Sourdough bakery tour because when you need a quick snack, that small piece of sourdough bread is always something to look forward to. They kept all the elements there from Pier 39 and San Francisco (including Ghirardhelli) and it's beautiful lit up at night. There are also a lot of great food options here which I do like that there's somewhat a food court area in the open. Sometimes it's nice to have areas of the park that can be chill and this one is one of those spots.

Come at night while your visiting Disneys California Adventures! The mini style Golden Gate bridge is lit up in fashion and perfect for photos! What do they also have.... how about food and drinks! Walk on over to get your Boudin Bakery fix, and maybe your favorite alcoholic or non-alcoholic slushie drink! If you visited during the day, yes its a great sight, but at night its breathtaking! ***Also short cut to Radiator Springs

I really enjoy coming to this part of Disney California Adventure Park. I have visited San Francisco many times and love the Fisherman's Wharf area. They did a nice job of recreating it here at Disney. When the park opened, it was called Pacific Wharf. But they reimagined it into the city of San Fransokyo (an alternate history of San Francisco) from the Big Hero 6 movie. Many of the dining spots still remain like Pacific Wharf Café, Ghirardelli and Lucky Fortune Cookery. There are no rides here at San Fransokyo Square. It is more of a large outdoor food court. There is a 54-foot-tall bridge called the San Fransokyo Gate Bridge that is similar to the Golden Gate Bridge. A couple of my favorite places to stop by are the Cappuccino Cart and Aunt Cass Café. I still enjoy the Bakery Tour where you learn about Boudin Bakery iconic bread. Make sure you grab a sample of the bread as you walk in. Majority of the dining here can be ordered via mobile on the Disneyland app.

This area is so cute!! We could see the water show from where we ate dinner. We tried tacos and elote and OMG the elote was SOOO GOOD! I would not recommend the carne asada tacos tho. Those were disappointing... but the elote I wish I could have regularly. We also tried peaches and cream bread pudding. 10/10!!! Bread pudding anywhere else would just disappoint. This whole area was a nice escape from the chaos of the theme park. Especially in the evening.

All the soup and bread bowls are delicious!!! The line is long but moves fairly quickly. The bread is so fresh and is the perfect meal on a chilly evening. Love sitting outside on san fransokyo square watching the sunset :)

Baymax was moving and talking, so fun meeting him!

What's not to love about this area!? The bridge is so grand and well done, I would describe it as if the Golden Gate Bridge and Tokyo had a baby! Baymax was moving and talking the whole time we interacted with him, my daughter's and I had a lot of fun meeting him! Probably one of our most memorable character experiences, gotta love Big Hero 6! Hubby, our daughters and I were also excited to try out Aunt Cass Cafe' inspired by Aunt Cass's San Fransokyo bakery and coffee shop, Lucky Cat Café! The San Fransokyo Clam Chowder was both unique and deliciously flavorful! My eldest loved her Kid's Turkey Sandwich! I would definitely recommend this cafe' and we're looking forward to returning to this foodie area! So many more restaurants to try! The new area (as of summer 2024) that just opened recently and the theme is based on the city where the people live in the movie Big Hero 6 (which is a wonderful movie by the way). As the name suggests, there are elements of both San Francisco and what I could only assume is Tokyo (I've never been). They definitely achieved the SF vibe with some eateries offering food items that are associated with San Francisco. The aesthetics of the buildings and the spatiality of the area feel really well designed and thought out. Not surprising since it is within the Disneyland/DCA parks after all. There's even great photo ops and areas to drink beers, etc. I really love what they did with this area. Honestly, prior to the change, I've walked through this area and I can honestly say I'm not sure if I ever eaten or drank anything here. So this revitalization has and will increase the traffic. I'm sure of it.

San Fransokyo Square is a land within Disney California Adventure Park. It is an homage to Big Hero 6! I actually have not seen the movie but, love how adorable the character Baymax is! There is a long line to have a photo opportunity w/ 'em There are no rides here but, spots to eat including Chinese, Mexican food and a place I'd like to try in the future that has curry in a sourdough bread bowl. I believe you can see the sourdough being made and bread in Baymax's shape. Even without rides, there's lots to do in this land like walking around, shopping, and taking photos in the cool scenery. San Fransokyo is lovely at night. Definitely a spot I would like to spend a little bit more time in on another Disney California Adventure trip.

It's been several years since I last visited Disneyland and I finally had a chance to see San Fransokyo Square inside Disneyland's California Adventure while visiting for the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon! San Fransokyo Square in inspired by Disney's Big Hero 6. The attractions inside the square focus on interactive experiences and storytelling, around Big Hero 6 and Baymax! There are no rides inside San Fransokyo Square, but there are a lot of quick service food areas, shopping, and sights to visit, especially during the evening! Some of the restaurants include the following Aunt Cass Cafe: Sourdough bread bowl soups, and Japanese-inspired dishes. If you enter from the entrance near Ghirardelli, you'll be offered a free slice of sourdough bread! Port of San Fransokyo Cerveceria: Lots of beverages! Lucky Fortune Cookery: Asian-style meals on the go! My favorite is the bulgogi wrap! Cappuccino Cart: Coffee! Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate shop: Lots of ice creams, chocolate squares, hot fudge sundaes and so much more! During the evening, this place is absolutely stunning! Usually table seating is full during lunch and dinner hours. It can get pretty crowded in the area, especially during the weekends!

If you're a bread bowl lover, head straight to San Fransokyo Square. The clam chowder and beer cheese soup served in freshly baked sourdough bowls are NEXT LEVEL. It's honestly some of the best comfort food in the whole resort -- rich, flavorful, and perfect for park refueling. And yes, the Mickey-shaped sourdough is still a classic favorite.

Came at park opening to check out the new location.
    Liz J.

Super cute area to walk around and cool to take photos if you get there early before all the places are open and crowds come. The bridge is really fun and there seem to be a lot of food and drink options. We would have come back for dinner but the park closed early for the Oogie Boogie bash so we'll have to do it next trip. Fun new area which looks nice and updated now.

This is a project in which elementary, middle, and high school choirs and bands performed at Valencia High School in the city of Placentia, CA, in the morning, and were then invited to visit Knott's Berry Farm for fun and the award ceremony in the late afternoon. We were thrilled that both our Bishop Amat Choir and Bands took home four first-place trophies across four categories. Back to Knott's Berry Farm, this amusement park is so much fun. It is a large property, and there is so much to see, do, and enjoy a great, memorable time. On this day, when we visited the park, it was a bit crowded (but fun nonetheless) as numerous school-aged choirs and bands were there, and it was also opening day for Knotts' Soak City water park. Knotts had a promotion for ticket holders who visited both parks on the same day. The crowds were no problem whatsoever as we ALL managed to get on numerous rides, listen to music, eat ice cream, and have bartered fish tacos for dinner. The park is well-maintained, employees were all extremely friendly and helpful, and security can be seen throughout the park to ensure everyone's safety. My family and I chose to purchase standard annual passes, which were very affordable at $120.09 per pass. Interest-free monthly payments are a great option if you prefer not to pay for your season pass in one shot. Now that my family and I have annual passes with parking included, we will definitely visit often, if only to have lunch or dinner at the park.

Use a credit card to book your room, so you can use their quick check in line. Either way, make sure you take the exact card you use to book for checking in. Before you go, buy the discounted dining deal. You can only buy it in advance, and the food and drinks are pretty pricey, so you will spend $$$. I also suggest attaching your credit card to your wristband for convenience. We really enjoyed the pizza place onsite. We checked in on a Sunday and it was a bit crowded, but we managed to do it all in three hours. The kids loved the bunk bed, and my only complaint about our room is that the tub faucet leaked. The next day, we packed a bag with a change of clothes that we fit into a small locker for $12, and went back into the waterpark for a couple more hours. I recommend packing travel toiletries for a quick shower before leaving. They have plenty of showers, changing rooms, and a swimsuit dryer, but no toiletries in the waterpark bathrooms. Waterpark towels are provided and must be checked out and in or you'll be charged, so don't lose them. There's a water bottle refill station in the waterpark near the bathrooms. We didn't try many of the activities offered except for the arcade that offered packages starting at $35. Lastly, be sure to pay for parking before you leave. That was also $35. All in all, we got a deal on the room but spent more on food, drinks, games, and parking combined. My kids are 5 and 10, and they were able to go on just about everything that was open. One day was plenty of time if you don't plan on doing all of the activities.

The issue is not necessarily that every employee was rude -- the real problem is the completely broken system and lack of communication between departments. We booked THREE rooms for 18 guests for a birthday celebration and simply wanted to reserve and pay for a place where everyone could eat lunch together and celebrate with cake. Something that should have been straightforward became an exhausting process filled with confusion, conflicting information, and endless transfers between departments. The front desk had no idea about the policies of the events department. The front desk also had no clear understanding of pool policies. Every single question required someone to "leave a note" for another department and wait for an email response that never came. No callbacks. No follow-up. No accountability. The most frustrating part was trying to contact the front desk directly. First, you are forced through an AI system. Then you finally reach someone in the "reservation department," who is not even onsite. Despite politely asking multiple times to be transferred directly to the front desk, they refused and insisted they could help. They could not. Instead, they placed me on hold supposedly to ask the front desk themselves -- and after 11 minutes on hold, they never came back. At that point, yes, the reservation department representatives themselves became part of the problem: rude, dismissive, unprofessional, poorly trained, and completely incapable of resolving even simple questions. This company has far too many unnecessary departments that clearly do not communicate or work together. Planning an important family event here became stressful instead of enjoyable. I will never host another birthday event at Great Wolf Lodge again, and I would strongly caution families against wasting their time and money here for important celebrations.
