I have to love this place because I am 1/2 Ecuadorian and I…read moredo. It is very hard for me to find things from Ecuador and every time I do it is something to be cherished, coveted and passed down. In Ecuador, many indigenous communities boast talented artisans that make goods for sell and trade as well as for each other. What they make for each other is especially sought by me and includes the beads, especially the tiny gold strands that the indigenous women wear, the embroidered blouses, the panama or felt hats and so on. The tapestries, the flag, the satchels and the jewelry are the mark of a passionate place where my heart is and alas will be. Forget the department stores! Leave the mall alone! Check out places like this that sell beautiful handmade treasures and you will treasure them too. Viva Ecuador!

Yeah, it's a L/XL but it fit so well I just had to buy it. It's cute too, and went with the clothes I had on at the time, I guess it was fate. Saw a guy in there with his two kids and asked one of the employees about a shoe the employees kinda murmured something to each other like "oh how about u get the customer". The employee only gave the guy very short answers and didn't go into too much detail. Secondly, I'm not complaining about the price but if u really want a shoe after retail u can do better online. From selling a shoe which they will kinda low ball (understandable cause they have to turn profit) but depending on the shoe you cannot low ball certain shoes. Great experience at Elegance Factory! No appointments required, and they will do their best to accommodate all walk-ins, but usually better to visit on a weekday when they're less swamped. 5-star service when you're the only one there. Very responsive via text. In-store purchases are exchange only, and if you don't like an item, they will do their absolute best to help you find something that you'll love. No in-shop tailoring (so no measurements), but they'll refer you to one local service. They have a really good eye for what your appropriate size is. I ordered a tux, and it was ready in a few days. I ended up swinging by a month after the tux was ready, only to find out it had been accidentally sold to someone else or was lost. I don't blame them, it's a small business with very limited space, and I was at fault for waiting a month. They immediately reordered the tux again and it came in less than a week. It's worth just shooting them a quick text or call to confirm your orders are ready before going in.
