Love coming to this place! The quantities are enormous! Perfect for to go for families. Love their sushi rolls. Especially the guava roll. The tostones with ajo were absolutely delicious! Super hot and lots of garlic. Their fried rice is always a must have. Service is fast and easy. Food comes out pretty quickly as well. Lots of seating inside.

I visited this place for the first time, and it is fairly spacious and very clean, with a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a meal. I was impressed by the size of the dishes wow it was so much that I had leftovers to take home! The flavor was delicious. My husband ordered the steak with chimichurri, and I definitely recommend it. The customer service makes the place even more enjoyable. I would definitely return!

It's been a long time since I've left a restaurant with heavy bags of food! And for the price point, not bad at all. The food itself is decent but the sheer amount of food is staggering. I'd say if you align your expectations for getting full and feeding a large gathering, this is a pretty reasonable spot. The one thing I didn't love was all the red dye in their dishes. The plantain sushi were surprisingly delicious. Never would've thought to fuse these. Worth a try if you love plantains.

Perfect fusion of Latino/Asian foods. Everything we ordered tasted great I wish we'd of known the portions were so huge. 2 people can easily share a meal. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. There is room to sit however not many seats so on a busy day you may not have a place to sit order take out maybe? The location is right on the edge of Katy and right off the westpark and peak road exit. Very convenient at least for me I live just down the street. You do have to order first no waiters so grab a menu up at the front if you need to browse before you order. The staff can make recommendations if you need them but basically all thier menu looks and sounds delicious! I will certainly be coming back around when I get the chance or when I'm craving a good fusion of Latino/Asian cuisine!

GOOD FOOD, MASSIVE PORTIONS, NO FRILLS "RESTAURANT" FOOD: Good, borderline great tasting food. VERY GENEROUS PORTIONS! To-go box was overfilled. All your food will be in to-go boxes, whether you say dining in or not. The San Fried Rice (signature) is full of tasty shrimp, chicken, eggs, and steak (slightly well-done though - sigh). The boneless BBQ ribs are super delicious, just a tad on the sweet side. No alcohol. They told me they used to have alcoholic drinks though. They've been open for about 4 yrs. $1 for bottled water (Ozarka). $2 for Arizona Iced Tea 20oz (maybe for sodas also). I mentioned prices because drink prices are not on the menu. Not bad. AMBIENCE: Non-existent. Seems like they are just a restaurant hybrid. Half of the "restaurant" is decorated with small non-functional windows and doors on the walls (yes doors). The other half is filled with cartons of soda cans and other supply boxes (see pics). You can tell that they really want you to take your food to go! Seems like this place is stuck in the COVID era. Mask sign is still prominently posted on door, ALL food is packed to-go containers, inside a plastic grocery bag, only small plastic forks (no real sturdy utensils), flimsy white paper plates, and only small 8 oz plastic cups (4 gulps worth before you have to refill them). CUSTOMER SERVICE: Meh at best. Friendly at register. But after you pay, they pretty much will leave you alone. Good for some guests, bad for others. So if you want ice or a cup, or anything else, you must go to the counter and ask. Contrary to another reviewer, they seemed willing to give me what I requested (twice) in a polite, friendly manner. MISC: The restaurant is a Chino Latino restaurant. But I didn't expect them to take it so literally. Working the register is a latino guy and an asian (chinese) guy. LOL. Well, there is also a young latina in the front, in charge of wrapping up the food and doing misc duties (like giving me with a cup of ice). Also, you won't find their menu if you enter the restaurant and head to the left. Despite having 2 computer screens above the register, there is no menu or food listings on them - only rotating pics of some of the food plates. Another customer pointed out that the menus were lying flat on the drinks refrigerator, so they are sort of hidden. Of course, in COVID fashion, they are on plain 8x11 paper and laminated. Now, if we had turned right when we entered, we would've been on a small narrow "yellow brick road", protected by a tall wall, that would lead us straight to the drinks refrigerator. Duh. Clueless us. Anyway, tonight was our first time. We will def be back to try other items on their menu.

Came back to eat at this excellent establishment! I guarantee you, you will not leave hungry! I love pork chops and these two pieces are cooked perfectly and thick! I could only eat one and took the rest home for later! Will definitely come back and try more dishes. The staff are friendly, restrooms are clean, and love the environment!

Ordered to go from here, and disappointed I didn't try this place sooner. They offer a unique Latin/Asian fusion menu. I ordered the Costillas BBQ pork, which is puerto rican/chinese style bbq boneless ribs with a sweet red sauce. It was excellent, and came with a hefty side of fried rice. The portions are HUGE, and I was able to make 2 meals off it. If you haven't already, give this place a try. read more

Honestly, this place is mid at best. I love their concept and what they have combined between cultures.... As a Puerto Rican, I try to be open minded. I tried this place two times and both times the food was so bad. Their sushi rolls were even bad, dry... no flavor. The pork chops are DRY. The fried rice has a weird flavor and isn't good. The staff is nice though but their food isn't. read more

Nice little place tucked away in a strip center but don't let that fool you! Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and informative. Was not sure what to expect with the Latin/Asian fusion theme but menu has great descriptions. The one "fusion" dish we tried was the Tostones Rellenos - avocado, spicy crab, eel sauce served on a crispy plantain??!! It was amazing!! We also tried the San Juan roll (minus the salmon) and the homemade dumplings. Both were very good and the dumplings were very authentic. Something in that dumpling sauce was super addicting! This meal was shared by 2 hungry people and it was plenty and perfect for under $24. Lots of other dishes to try!! read more

Coworker recommended this place, never even knew it was here. Small, dingy, (dirty floor and tables, got there around 3 pm) but I was there for takeout. BBQ ribs and pork fried rice were FABULOUS! I also got the pork spring rolls which were excellent. I should have eaten them on the way home, got a little soggy, but still tasted great. Definitely going for take out again. Already told another coworker they have to go. And huge portions, definitely easy meal for 2. read more

A gem in the Richmond/Katy area. Let's start with their hospitality. The owners there are amazing people. They are so warm and welcoming that it made me order more!!! Their food is amazing! We started with the tostones. Boy let me tell you. So scrumptious!!!!!! Oh my goodness. I can't stress this enough. Then we got a little fancier and went with the tostones rellenos. Too much tostones, you may say? NOOOO!!! Just enough. We topped our bellies off with carne frita and arroz. I forced my self not to finish this for 2 reasons. 1) my belly was sooooo full and 2) I wanted to eat the left overs the following day. this place is absolutely earning of all 5 stars read more

The servings are huge, we had enough to eat our fill for 3 meals, just had to sauté veggies for the last meal, but it was plenty. Most of the meals are around $13. Everything was tasty, most of the sushi is less than $10 per roll. The service is friendly, authentic people working there cooking the food. The place was clean, and it was the perfect place for a quick lunch with the kids. I definitely plan to return! I'll post pics next time. read more

Very nice Puerto Rican Chino Boricua. Fast food Service, Clean, and we love theirs Garlic Fries(really amazing here), tostones and mofongo, carne frita, and pretty much if everything on their menu. A mixture of Asian food with Latin food twist. You can find some pretty amazing sushi here and skirt steak and Asian stir fries. Amazing food, amazing price and amazing portion! They also have family meals for busy families. If you're already in the area, you gotta give it a try highly recommend their food. read more

Sushi was fresh and delicious! Portions were large, and service was fast. I just happened upon this little restaurant and was intrigued by the Puerto Rican sushi menu! I will be back to visit again! Best service and fresh food. I haven't had sushi rolls since I decided to be vegetarian in January. I finally found a family owned place where I could try a vegetarian sushi roll and was not disappointed. Will be coming back! Such amazing food and vibes. When searching for "Latin cuisine" this restaurant popped up and had great reviews so my husband and I headed there for lunch. The menu is extensive with many options to satisfy your Latin cuisine desires and your Chinese and sushi desires. Between the two of us we ordered one sushi roll, tostones rellenos and carne fritas. Overall the food was decent, the carne fritas was served with fried rice and for an up charge you can do other sides such as fried plantain. There was a lot of food for $10. For the sushi roll it was a little bland and the tostones rellenos were super crispy for the plantain but the snow crab on top was a little too much and had excess dressing which look away from the crunch of the plantain. The atmosphere is decent and plain, it's counter ordering and then they bring you the food. It looked a little chaotic with stacks of beverages and paper plates/condiments stores in paper bags. Food was good but had to take a off for its seeming so disorganized. read more

We tried so many dishes and enjoyed all of them. The big winners of the night were the dumplings, the tempura jalapeños, and carne frita. I can't wait to go back to try the other items on the menu. Who knew there is such a thing as Chinese / Japanese/ Puerto Rican fusion foods? When the Mrs saw it on Yelp, naturally we had to make a run. We visited for lunch and checked out the menu. Basically the menu listed bang up of famaliar Cantonese and Puerto Rican foods with lots of sushi rolls and thrown in. We went with the Chinese BBQ pork plate with veggie fried rice and San Ajillo chicken with mofungo. We also got a cup of chicken soup to taste. We were surprised with so much food on the plates. Both the pork and chicken were seasoned perfectly and very tender. We tasted the Latino and Cantonese influences in the proteins. The fried rice was authentic and the mofungo was good with the additive pink sauce. The soup was good with chunks of yucca. The employees were super friendly and masked. The Chinese manager said she was originally from Venezuela, maybe this explained the Chino - Latino - Japanese mashed up. We will return to try the Japanese foods and other fusions. read more

This place is going to be the new hot spot in Katy. The chefs take immense care into the food they're creating. The sashimi was fresh, and the dumplings reminded me of the dumplings me and my mother make at home. The decor is cute and vibrant. Great for fast casual food with friends or family! We are Chinese and we are Puerto Rican. We grew up on the beautiful island while cooking the Asian food that reminded us most of home. As the years passed, we started merging both cultures and flavors together, and that is how San Eatery was born.

Cheaper at lunch time but menu has less options, mainly no sashimi and only ice-cream as desserts. My favorites are chicken karaage, kanpachi sashimi, yellowtail sashimi, salmon sashimi, Cajun albacore sashimi, spider roll, Starbucks roll, baked green mussels, and their mochi (I got strawberry and mango). I got a lot more but those are my favorite and highly recommend for you to try. Final destination sushi rolls are majority of the people's favorite, including my server's. Eel sashimi is on a grill, which was surprising and good. Wasabi was lacking the spice and I'm not a fan of pink ginger but it's an AYCE so not complaining. What I do suggest you to do is to stay away from hot cheesecake and ice cream tempura. Unfortunately, they most likely use the same batter batch with their meats/seafood and they fry it with their seafood/meat oil so all you taste is mainly seafood, which is quite disgusting when you want your desserts to be desserts. I had a good time with their Burning Alaska signature maki, which has salmon as the main star. The smokiness from torching was a killer!
