Highly recommend San Diego E-Waste! My daughter's 55-inch TV broke during her recent move. Instead of driving down to their Chula Vista location, I used their free pickup service. Scheduling was a breeze, and they hauled away the broken television along with an old battery charger at zero cost. If you need to responsibly recycle old electronics, give these guys a call. read more

....As the B.B.B. says, " Investigate before you invest." I did... We trusted Gavin & the San Diego E-Waste Team at the Morena Blvd. location to destroy our old Laptop hard drive and provide, "Certificate Of Destruction." Galvin (Owner) SD E-Waste 619-657-3103, always answered my phone calls and provided great service. S.D. E Waste is my "Go To Place," for future E Waste Items. Happy Customer. -Jim read more

Thanks Gavin for the response. Appreciate that you provide a free service. I was simply offering feedback for improvement and stated that it's difficult to get a hold of anyone. I remained courteous and did not mean to make it complicated or no way stress you or the system out. I asked for an appointment because I do have the three items ready. read more

San Diego E-Waste - Communication via text. - Recycling Center Near Me - Chula Vista, California

Excellent service. They recycled our old IMac 27 and removed and erased all data. Will come back.

Very easy process just make your appointment and show up . They unload your vehicle for you .

Very courteous personnel. Helpful with grabbing the ewaste items. Very easy process to drop off items.

Came here twice. First time was excellent experience, we were able to drop off old non functioning laptops then later get a certificate of destruction by email, only needed to leave our contact information. Second time was ok, because they didn't have the degausser machine and couldn't find the drill to destroy the two old iphones. They did take the smoke alarms and monitors but did not accept batteries or light bulbs. They did have a sign for another place on El Cajon blvd that does accept these items, so that was helpful. Very nondescript area, basically an alley off a busy street. Drive all the way up to near the end of the alley and you'll be in the right place. Quite a few open parking spots. read more

This is a great place to drop off you old electronics to be recycled. Not just tv's, computers, and monitors, but vacuum machines, lamps, or items that run on electricity etc., but be sure to call a head if you have a unique item. I drop off several old computers, and they destroy the hard drives too, television, and old computer monitors. It was hassle free at no cost. You just have to give them your name and address for the State. read more

I needed a place to recycle my son's old tv, so I looked online and found this place. You do need to go to the back of the store to give them your items, so turn left into the driveway before Marsat Ct. They are in suite B. If no one is there, they have a phone number you can call. They helped me unload the tv and I just had to give them my address and name and phone number. Very friendly staff and I'm glad my tv isn't going to the dump. read more

Free pick-up and friendly service. When they moved from near me I was disappointed, but they added pick up service, which is even better.

If you're looking to drop off and recycle your old electronics (large or small), San Diego E-Waste is the place! I recently stopped by here to drop off a large flat screen tv and computer monitor. My drop-off was made quick and easy thanks to the friendly and helpful customer service I received. They not only facilitate a free e-waste drop-off, but they also provide a free and easy pick-up service to remove your qualifying electronics within minutes. Definitely call them at least 1-2 days in advance to schedule an appointment. In addition to their pick-up service, they can come to you and erase/destroy your hard drives and other data-containing devices. A Certificate of Destruction can be included with the service. They're open Mon-Fri 8 am-5:30 pm, Sat 8 am-2 pm, and closed Sundays. If you have a specific electronic item on hand and are unsure whether they'll accept it, give them a call and they'll be happy to assist you. read more

San Diego E-Waste - Easy and facilitated e-waste drop-off - Recycling Center Near Me - Chula Vista, California

Good place to drop off any useless or dead or unnecessary electronics, even though it's rather difficult to locate due to the fact that it's deep in Spring Valley (though just a half mile from my friend's house) and you have to pass by a couple of warehouses/auto shops to get to it. The sign to indicate where the place is is not easily seen from Jamacha Blvd. I almost missed it the first time I drove there. It's hard to find parking for this place too. There is an incline next to the building, and spacing makes it difficult to move one's vehicle around without nearly bumping into something. read more

5 min experience, harder to find the sign for the business. Nice young man said they could recycle my old shredder!! Answer 4 questions, give name and address data, then am driving away!! Call if you need to or are unsure!! Save being lucky and driving by a random market parking lot electronics/ electrical recycling even. Nice, friendly young man, too!! read more

This was an easy drive up and get out to drop off our portable dishwasher. They were open on time on a holiday weekend. Staff was nice, answered our questions. They even answer their phone late in the afternoon, a day before a holiday! Note: they are located near the end of this long driveway. Pass a couple other places to get to e waste, which is well labeled. read more

I had some large electronics to dispose of, but did not want to put them in the trash. So I searched online and found San Diego E-Waste and emailed them. Gavin in the office contacted me right away and arranged for a pickup. The truck came the same day and picked up the electronics! Lucky I was near one of the sites. I'm glad I found San Diego E-Waste, now I know that I can responsibility rid myself of these items instead of polluting the environment. read more

Thank God there is a place to responsibly get rid of electronics. Laser Printers, monitors, Computers.

It is a bit hard to find as it is in the back part of a set of buildings but drop off was super easy and staff extremely helpful.

Had a lot of E-waste to dispose of and it was nice to find somewhere to donate. Super friendly.

Called for pickup at my business in san diego. gave me a pickup date then cancelled. Gave me another pickup date then TOTALLY blew me off. No show no call no return texting. Nothing. Found another company and will not be calling San Diego E-waste again. read more

San Diego E-Waste was very efficient and easy to schedule a pick up at our office. Although we didn't meet the criteria for a free pick up, it was still a very reasonable price, they came and destroyed a few hard drives and took some old computer stuff. I would definitely recommend there services if you need to get rid of E-Waste. read more

My uncle recently passed away and, as a "computer buff", he had computer towers (to the tune of 17), laptops, monitors, and various other parts, throughout his apartment. Scheduling a pick was super easy, Gavin was punctual and a champ about having to go up and down the stairs to get to my uncle's second story apartment (my apologies about that, Gavin!). Nice people, responsive to inquiries/scheduling requests...highly recommend. read more

I called and asked a few questions about an old CRT TV and other things for pickup. The gentlemen on the phone was very unprofessional and seemed to have been annoyed by people calling in. No further assistance was provided. read more

So we had this 50 inch TV that we replaced and called San Diego E-Waste to pick it up. Was sure it would take weeks - what a great surprise - they answered our phone call, scheduled an appointment the same day and when they had an issue and were going to be late - called to confirm. Two nice young men arrived, loaded our TV and a few other e-waste things and now I am a happy, happy camper. Thank you San Diego E-Waste you are terrific. read more
