I have been using Dave for three years and he has exceeded my expectations EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. He is friendly, professional, honest, and most importantly, a man of his word. A plumber like that is hard to find. His prices are unbeatable! I can confidently say he is the very best (and I'm hard to please)! Water heater replacement 10/2018- My water heater is located in a carpeted garage (AKA man cave). It had a slow leak which I was unaware of due to the carpeting. When discovered, due to a foul smell, Dave came to the rescue. He helped rip out the carpet, replace the water heater, and replace the dirty/stinky/moldy drywall. He went above and beyond his job duties! When asked about it, his response was "I want to do the job right." Most shockingly, he did not ask for more than the amount quoted. Of course no good deed goes unnoticed so I made sure to compensate him for the extra time and effort. It's been over a year and the water heater is going strong! Broken pipe repair during COVID 7/2020- I have been doing my best to quarantine and limit interactions with others. Unfortunately, the pipe in my backyard burst and water was spewing everywhere! I was hesitant on getting it repaired due to COVID, but I didn't have much of a choice. Dave immediately put all my worries to ease. He made sure to follow mask requirements and social distancing guidelines. As always, he went above and beyond! The job required a lot of digging up dirt, chopping roots, and fending off ants (sorry!) Although this job left him with ant bites and a burn, he had such a positive attitude the whole time! Thank you!

Dave once again saved the day for us. The last time we called him was 7 years ago, glad to see he is still on the job and we were able to find him on yelp. We initially had what we thought was a clogged drain, but it turned out to be a much more serious issue. We called the first plumbing company and we thought they had cleared the clogged drain. A couple of weeks went by, and the smell in our kitchen was getting worse and worse--like rotten trash/sewer. It turns out the first plumber had pierced our sewer drain line in two separate places because he was too careless/aggressive when he went to clear the drain line. David, the owner at Samurai, visited, gave us a fair quote and was able to fix the problem the same day. (Our 3-year-old found the drain opening 'cleanout,' I guess it's called, on the side of the house, and stuck golf balls in there until we realized he was doing it). You can see by the pictures of the plastic golf ball jammed in there and the only way to fix it was remove a section of the pipe and replace it with a new pipe. Thank goodness we got this fixed before a huge lake of sludge formed under our house. Thanks Samurai! David was a true professional.

Dave is supercool. I have him installed a smart shut off valve in house. He is positive and hard working plumbing expert. Upon service day, he skipped lunch to make sure project is done on time. The result forms out very neat. I highly recommend him for any Plumbing works.

    Very clean

Very honest person - explained to me that he couldn't handle the drywall stuff. Didn't charge any money. Will definitely call him again if there is other plumbing issue. 2nd time to contact David - Very responsible and reliable. Keep the area clean and get the job done without issues.

    Clean and leak free!

Excellent service! Highly Recommended! Communication was very easy with David, he responds quickly with a reasonable quote and showed up earlier than scheduled for the job. He's very detail on the work he does, as there was a few hiccups from the instructions that caused him more time, but he took it in stride and got everything worked out. Additional parts was needed to replace and David had no issues making a trip to the store to get them. On top of it he did a very clean job as everything was covered up and no mess was left behind. Always good when you're dealing with an owner that cares about his business which David does and he provides great customer service. He will be the plumber I call first from now on!

Would you guys be able to replace a water heater in the attic? Not sure if the best option would be to get a bigger size (current one is insufficient at only 20 gallons), which would require cutting a beam, or if tankless ones work well enough.

Hello thank you for contacting us. If you can, please call me at +19492593945 to discuss the details of the possible attic water heater installation

One yelp inquiry later within minutes, Cori and his team sent out Jason to help us out the next day (as we requested). We were given a window of 11 am - 1 pm and for the first time I've ever been given a window of arrival, Jason showed up promptly at 11 am. He went to work on inspection, giving recommendations, and then replacing the entire trifecta. We ran into some hiccups along the way where some pipe was dented from age and needed to be replaced and that was taken care of swiftly. We also have a napping newborn and he was miraculously able to sleep through the work and Jason was kind enough to work gently during the naps. After the job was done we chatted for a bit and he was on his way. Later that night I did notice a small leak coming from one of the couplings and Jason quickly returned the same night to fix the issue despite it being late. I even said we could wait until tomorrow but he insisted on getting to fixed. A quick fix later, all was well. I have working water pressure throughout the house and no more leaks. The wife and baby are very happy. Thank you to Jason for all the help and a huge thank you to Sonia for coordinating all this!! She was super quick on communication and was always patient and empathetic. And thank you to Cori for being on standby to support us through tonight. I firmly standby supporting your local businesses as they truly mold a community and help foster growth. So please don't hesitate to try and contact these fine people. I look forward to working with you all again should the dreaded day I have plumbing needs arise again

I had a leaking cast iron sewer main that ended up becoming a pretty major repair. I had a few others come out for estimates, but a lot of them felt like they were glossing over the details of why the repairs were necessary. John actually took the time to walk through the pipes with me on camera and explain exactly what we were looking at and why certain sections needed attention. There was a charge for the inspection, but honestly it was far more thorough than what anyone else offered. What I appreciated most was that they didn't immediately jump to the most extreme and expensive option. They recommended starting with a descale and inspection first before deciding on the final repair path. We decided on using a spray liner and over the course of the week they descaled the lines and applied a spray liner solution. Throughout the whole process I felt like they went above and beyond and were very professional about explaining everything. In the end we decided to line the cast iron with a plastic liner and the finished result came out great. They also gave me before and after footage of the pipes, which I really appreciated. I'd definitely recommend them.

Tech went as scheduled and told me he did a quick check at the unit and then to the electrical panel. And said now if he needs to go into diagnosis, it will cost $175 , and either he can fix it OR that $175 will be used to swap a new unit at $4xx. Since I'm remote, I can only agree to it to move forward. 10mins later, got a call from the tech saying, "there are good and bad news! Good news, the unit was indeed completely fine and it's working alright. The unit was slightly "UNPLUGGED" from the outlet and it works perfectly after I plugged it back in. Bad news, the $175 is due. " I appreciate that the "diagnosis" save me hundreds instead of replacing a fully working unit, but I would have thought the first free initial check should have looked at the connection in the first place. Definitely feel a bit rip off BUT they did give me a small discount in the end. I'm not expecting free work BUT $150 to get someone out to plug it back in? Is that the norm?
