Called Dave up on a Saturday morning...he was busy but said he could come later in the day. I asked if he could come earlier than the promised 3:00 pm time he said he would try. Dave came way earlier than I expected. I needed to have a sink faucet looked at because it had become dislodged. Dave tried to fix it but the faucet actually needed to be changed out. He did this very professionally and cleaned up the area very nicely when he was done. I also needed to have some shower faucets replaced...he advised that they didn't need replacing but just that they needed the handles to be changed out which was simply a cosmetic fix. I was thankful that Dave provided an honest suggestion that saved me quite a bit of money. I needed some plumbing done in Chino. I called Dave and told him I needed the temperature pressure relief valve (tprv) replaced so that it extends to the outside of the house (my old set up had it pointing inside the garage, which wasn't good). We had a pretty good leak in the bathtub. No matter how many YouTube videos I watched, I wasn't able to make the repair on my own. I reached out through yelp to get a quote and dave was willing to offer free advice to help me with the repair. When we figured out that it needed a professional touch, I contacted David again of samurai plumbing. He quotes me the price, different options of what i wanted installed and was on time on the day of the repair. We ended up going with the moen shower set, and it's so simple and great to look at. David suggested the best plan was to go through the back side of the wall and cut out the drywall for the repair. Only problem was the 40 year old cabinet that was nailed into the wall. He demolished the cabinet and was nice enough to take it to the dumpster for us. The repair took and additional hour and a half more than expected but David kept his word in his pricing and did not change or charge us for the extra time. He worked hard, tested the leak, finished the repair, cleaned up the area, and showed us the finished product. He even offered to come back to finish up the drywall repair ( there was already a portion of drywall that was already cut out that we did not know about until we took out the cabinet) and paint job, but i ended up finishing that part myself. We were so happy with the results and I would recommend David of samurai plumbing to any of my friends. He had great knowledge of he problem at hand and even knew the name of the old shower set that was over 30 years old. Give David a call for any plumbing needs, I am really glad we did. read more

I gave 5 stars because Samurai plumbing absolutely deserves it. Dave the young man helped me was absolutely nice and very professional. The price was very reasonable and they're not trying to rip you off over small little jobs. My son flushes his underwear down the toilet and I was able to get the underwear out but it was still clogged. Dave was nice and patient enough to give me directions through the phone and when my attempts were unsuccessful he came out and helped me. I walked out to the backyard to see a stream of water coming from my water heater. I called them up and they sent someone out immediately. David got there in 30 minutes. He found a large crack at the bottom and said I needed a new water heater. He left and came back 45 minutes later with a new water heater.
