    Dr. Wu has been my family doctor for years, and it's about time I rave about her somewhere. :-)…read more She's so relaxing to be around, and she really pays attention to you and how you're feeling. I feel very comfortable whenever I'm in her examination room, and I always feel taken care of. Some of my older family members come to her, too, and I think that the reason they like coming to her is because of how attentive and kind she is. You never feel like she's trying to rush you out of her clinic. She speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Teo Chew, and Vietnamese, so she gets a lot of the elderly patients, I think. However, she really is great with all ages, even the little ones. :-) (Though I think that she doesn't take patients at the younger end of the spectrum.) Check her out. Her clinic takes most major names in insurance. You can call ahead to find out whether or not she'll take yours.

However, I don't uderstand why her receiption is so rude, and I had to suffer this since 1998. Every time when I called to make an appointment, I felt she pushed me away, with cold attitude. Today, I had a bad feeling before I called to talk to her again and terrible thing did happen just now. I am so fed up and have no choice to leave Dr. Wu. I asked to talk to Dr. Wu but got refused and was told she related to Dr. Wu. I feel bad that I punish the doctor because of her receiption. Wish Dr. Wu the best.

    I would strongly caution others before choosing this provider. Initially, I tried to overlook Dr…read more Yang's cold and curt bedside manner, assuming it may simply have been a communication style difference. However, over time, it became clear that there was a concerning lack of attentiveness and follow-through regarding patient care. Neither Dr. Yang nor his staff seemed to truly listen to or address my concerns. It took an entire month after my EGD procedure (which he was an hour late to) to receive results, and even then, I was left without answers regarding the source of my pain. When I attempted to seek guidance on next steps, I was told by a nurse over the phone that if my pain was "that bad," I should go to the ER, despite the fact that I was simply looking for direction and continued care. Only after I pleaded for her to have compassion, did she say I should make a follow up appointment. Additionally, this was one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had with front office staff. Due to the overall lack of communication, compassion, and support, I decided to leave the practice and continue my post-EGD care with another physician. DO NOT waste your time here, especially if you are in pain.

Then I arrive 20 minutes late and the person at the front desk told me I would have to wait to be seen. There were five people ahead of me even though I had an appointment scheduled she said they would be seen first then me. I asked how long the wait time was and how long the doctor took with each patient and she was unable to give me a time frame. I walked out and called my doctor for another GI specialist referral. Poor customer service at this doctors office. I work in the customer service industry and wouldn't recommend their office.
