We simply gave Guido an idea of what we wanted to see & do and he did the rest. Only an experienced agent of the highest caliber could have handled our late in the planning process schedule changes. A few weeks before departure a package arrived with everything from travel bags to luggage tags, detailed itinerary, maps, vouchers, and suggested restaurants at each city along the way. Guido then set up a meeting to go over every page to aaddress any questions or concerns we may have had. Once in Italy, Guido called the Venetian restaurant where we were dining to make sure everything was going well. In Rome, the hotel clerk had a message for us from Guido, whom she had worked with for years. In Italy, everyone knows Guido. Simply put; Bethesda Travel should be the first stop for anyone planning a vacation.

Hotels, transportation, tours, and tour guides--all planned to perfection and excellent. The hotels were in perfect locations, all the tours were private with priority entry into the busy attractions (no waiting in lines!), and most of the tour guides had 10-20+ years of guide experience with education in history and/or architecture matching the tour. Also, having them provide train and airline reservations and drivers eliminated all stress getting from one place to another on time and kept us from driving and getting lost in crazy city traffic. If you want a no-worry, low stress vacation while seeing many attractions in an European country, Bethesda Travel Center is the place to go. Worth every penny and highly recommended!

I put down my backpacker-esque, 'I am not your typical tourist' pride and got in contact with Triple C. Mike came highly recommended from the Chinese community which made me hesitate at first because honestly, my Chinese sucks. I tested the waters by writing him an (English) email requesting an itinerary for an upcoming multi-country trip, detailing my numerous travel preferences in an anal fashion. To my astonishment, it was only minutes before a reply appeared in my inbox. Within the email was a spectacular itinerary to which I love dearly and could not have put together so well myself in such small amount of time. A few minutes later another email followed with a few concerns over how I wanted to fly in to one side of a country and leave from my specified airport that's on the the opposite end of the same said country. (I had plans to take the train across the country but forgot to mention it in my initial email) Fantastic attention to details. A quick check over kayak and a few other sites tell me Mike's prices couldn't be beat and I was sold then and there. When recently I emailed Mike regarding my woes with the difficulty I was having getting a Chinese visa he was quick to offer advice. Mike is always quick to respond to my traveling needs and questions; most of our email conversations can be concluded within minutes. I love that. Straight to the point and super friendly. Oh, my worries regarding the whole Chinese thing? Totally a non-issue. This whole experience makes me wish I had made buddies with a travel agent sooner!

This was my first time using a Travel Agent, and I would definitely recommend Voyager Travel to others who may be looking for assistance with booking a vacation. I can't wait for my Jamaican vacation in the next couple weeks! On a side note, before I went to Voyager Travel, I checked about Liberty Travel at Dulles Town Center. I do not recommend Liberty - the representative I worked with did not seem very interested in helping me and barely did any research. I was only given 2 different vacation options (even though I was highly flexible with location, dates, etc.), and when I requested some additional options, I was frankly told that I "would not like the other resorts." Compared to the service I received at Liberty, my experience at Voyager Travel was top-notch.

ZERO STARS - Our cruise was nowhere close to locations with bans (as she responded to my community…read morequestion)AND after planning for over a year and being paid in full, VOYAGES BY KIM'S owner Kim McNamee, was NOT paying carnival cruise line and allowed our trip to be cancelled and now believes the customers are responsible for penalties that HER company caused to happen. I have documentation from over a year and never has Jesus or any other religious anecdotes been used, suddenly this is her only fall back. Providing a "refund request form" that clearly states your company has 30days to respond AND the right to refuse a refund is bogus. Waiting 9days before a sail date to tell someone they aren't traveling is ridiculous as well!! Flights, hotels, clothes, suitcases-booked,packed and ready to go. She even sent me a fake confirmation while I was in the passport agency WASTING even more money for expedited service!! Don't fall for the scam, book your trips personally as I have done for years. No reason to pay hundreds extra only to be ripped off and infuriated with scam artists like these. Any LEGITIMATE business would require a receipt for a refund which I have. The hurricane DID NOT affect the spirit flight I booked not the port on which to board the cruise. Everything out of Kim's mouth is a poor excuse to justify the reason she allowed this trip to be cancelled MONTHS ago and also why she continues to LIE about providing refunds. Karma, however, returns to everyone justly. Don't compare this blatant SCAM to any other real business. Best Buy doesn't require a form and tell you that they have 30days to approve or decline. Insurance was added to the original fees listed and there was NO LEGITIMATE reason for the cabins that I paid in FULL SINCE APRIL to be cancelled. End of story. Return my $4629 + all other expenses so I can book a real trip without you or your fake agency listed.

VERY important anniversary - big plans for a European river cruise led us to decide to seek help from a professional rather than booking it ourselves online. Our consultant gave us some brochures and asked other consultants to lend expertise on the trip we were interested in. We left the appointment with a 72-hour window to complete the reservation AND for the consultant to provide the "how to" move forward. On the third day, I made contact to see how we could move forward before the deadline passed and the reservation would be lost. The consultant, having forgotten about where we were in the story, failed to provide what was needed ---- the reservation was lost. The promise was an attempt at a do-over once 24 more hours had passed. Rather than risk another blown opportunity, I called the vendor myself --- and booked the same dates/cabin/destination as a new reservation. Anniversary saved - go ME. The next day, received an ALL CAPS email from the consultant: "IF YOU DO DEPOSIT TODAY I CAN REBOOK. NEED TO KNOW." Needless to say, I won't be a repeat customer of this business.
