Samsara was my first experience eating Lebanese style food. The Mediterranean based menu is on the spicy side, which I love, and the dishes on offer range from goat, to chicken or lamb, right through to vegetarian options. I had a lamb fillet which was served with Lebanese potato and vegetables.
I wasn't quite sure what to expect taste wise, but it reminded me of Greek cuisine with a little more spice. The lamb was beautifully tender, it practically melted in my mouth. The prices are quite high, with the mains averaging around the $30-35 mark. As nice as I thought the meal was I find it hard to rationalize spending so much when I can get a decent curry and rice for under $10 near by. read more
