I have used Sam's Window Tinting several times over the years. They've been in business for decades and they've always done a phenomenal job. They came highly recommended to me, And After the many services I have use them for (they do a lot more that auto window tinting) I now also highly recommend them! As I mentioned they do much more than window tinting . I have used them for detailing a vehicle I was looking to sell. When I went to pick up the car it looked so perfect I didn't want to sell it anymore. It looked like it had just pulled off the dealer show room floor. I am currently using them for commercial purposes as well. They are tinting the Commercial building windows at my job. A building with three garage bay doors with nine small panel windows each And four very large picture windows on each side of the building. If that wasn't enough - they do car wraps as well! I have an hot rod that I discussed putting a wrap on with Sam himself He had some great ideas and was sincerely excited about the project. He didn't look at it like just another job he looked at it like an opportunity to turn a classic hot rod into a piece of art. I also called him to ask him if he did custom glass - I knew it was a longshot but since he tinted windows and so much else I thought he might Be able to help me get some very specific custom glass made for a modified chopped 57 Chevy Bel Air Sam does not do custom glass. But he did spend a day calling around talking to his contacts in the automotive industry And found me a local guy who not only does custom glass, But is an expert in hot rod restoration. Sam did this As a courtesy that he would do for any customer. That's why I had to write this review. I don't give bad reviews to trash businesses I don't like. I just don't use them. However when I find one that is truly exceptional I spread the word. We need to keep the exceptional businesses and business men in business! Sam is my guy! Extremely happy with the job these guys did. Sam and his son are pure professionals who are just as OCD as I am. The job for this particular car wasn't the easiest but they took their time and made sure it was done right. After seeing the end product, i was overjoyed with the way my car looked. We went through options of what I wanted and his suggestions were spot on for what I sought. The car looks great and transformed. I was really disappointed with my experience at Sam's given all the great reviews on here. I was quoted $300 for the cash only "friends and family deal" which I now realize was probably a scam. I talked to Sam on Tuesday night and he put me in for an appointment that Saturday, saying someone would confirm the appointment on Thursday. Noone called to confirm on Thursday which should've been my first red flag. So I called and they did confirm my appointment for Saturday. I arrived to my appointment on time and it took a little bit for Sam to meet me (at what appeared to be his personal residence, not a formal garage / working garage). I dropped off my car at 1215pm, and was informed the job should be done around 6pm if not sooner. We discussed having the NY legal limit of 30% done on the front windows, but darker in the back. I've attached before and after pictures for you to be the judge of whether or not he listened to what I wanted. At 6pm I received a call from Sam advising that my car wouldn't be ready for pickup until 8pm...therefore it took him 7 HOURS to complete this job. Funny because someone on here posted that his car was donde within 2 hours. I understand the legal 30% tints are pretty light but it hardly looks like znything was done. Also the adhesive from my back door is now hanging off after whatever Sam's team did with my car. I would advise people to AVOID this shady business at all costs!! read more

I got my car tinted here and they did an excellent job as usual. I have a 2014 FJ Cruiser that got a clear sun strip on the windshield, 3M clear security film on the front doors and 5% privacy tint on the rear windows. Great work and great customer service. They take the time to explain everything to you from the type of tint to how to maintain it and also offer a warranty on their work. I've had my past cars tinted here and they have been perfect. One car was a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville that was junked last year due to it being a rust bucket with mechanical problems. Everything on that car was failing but the tint was perfect. Nearly 20 years and no bubbles or peeling. Good shop and crew that I'll continue to use for my future cars! read more

I was recommended to use Sams Window Tinting. I made an appt. I confirmed the appt. They called me to confirm appt again. I arrived 30 minutes early. The appt was for 11am and I was told that it would be completed by 2pm. The workers never showed up. At 1:15pm I was told the workers are coming and I would be finished by 2pm. The reason I went to Sams was because I wanted a professional job. I didn't mind paying more. I didn't want a rush job. I left at 1:30pm. They are overpriced but I figured you pay for what you get. Not in this case. I went to my original place in Brooklyn. It was worth the commute. Professional job and on time. I can't believe how SAMs wasted my time. Unprofessional establishment.
