That menu also has lemon drops, and for $1 extra, you can get it and then array of different flavors, such as mango, peach, passionfruit, strawberry, etc. I got raspberry at the servers recommendation and it was good. For entrées, my friend got the Cajun pasta, and I loved it. I would order that one again. They also got oxtail, which I didn't try. I got the red fish, and let me tell you it was gigantic! I've never had this, so I was really taking a risk. I found that I don't think I love red fish, as it didn't have the flavor profile I was expecting, however, the sauce on it really brought it to the next level. I got some to go. The greens were extremely salty unfortunately, but the cornbread was really good. I know a lot of people talk about the service and sadly, I did feel the same. It did seem that our server was gone for extended periods of time, and we did wait a while to put in another order for the $5 menu. Initially one of our lemon drops didn't come out either, and we had to ask about it. However, I will say that once we were ready to order entrees, the service did seem to get better. Our server communicated that the kitchen was working on getting out food from the 8 o'clock deadline, and that she would come back and take our order in a bit. I appreciated that communication and didn't mind waiting after. I noticed that within 30 minutes, the restaurant really cleared out, so I'm thinking that a lot of people come for that menu and then leave.. which is surprising because it's a really good looking menu and if I lived in town, I would definitely come back to try more. Add to that later, I also noticed that hookah came out and the DJ got more live.. just something to note!
