The one sanity I found was hiring Harford Cleaners to restore all of my textiles. They arrived promptly to help me sort my things into 'save', 'donate', and 'toss'. They packed it all up, and in a few days returned the things for which I requested a rush order. Their work on those items was outstanding. A few months later, when the seasons changed, I requested the return of a few more items of clothing, They selected the items accurately, and delivered them promptly. Fourteen months later, my unit still can't be inhabited, my things are still stored there. Throughout, they have done a great job with the paperwork for me and the insurance company, saving me much aggravation. I strongly recommend them for remediating fire and smoke damage to textiles.

BUT I contacted Hartford Cleaners Sunday late afternoon and explained the situation and Pennylynn replied immediately and said that they would do their best to find my computer bag... I split my loads evenly the large load machines are between 8-10 dollars a load, smaller loads are 4.75. I accepted that price, the dryers are 25 cents a load and are very large but cannot dry. I saw in a previous negative comment the owner accused a client of over loading the machine and pressing low. I made sure to break up my loads i was using 7 dryers at one point trying to make the loads small enough to dry and made sure to press the high mode. It took me close to 4 dollars per dryer to finish drying. The type of material did not matter i had baby clothes that did not dry and thints like jeans and heavy sweaters were nearly impossible. Will not be back. Hopefully this help anyone else.
