The one sanity I found was hiring Harford Cleaners to restore all of my textiles. They arrived promptly to help me sort my things into 'save', 'donate', and 'toss'. They packed it all up, and in a few days returned the things for which I requested a rush order. Their work on those items was outstanding. A few months later, when the seasons changed, I requested the return of a few more items of clothing, They selected the items accurately, and delivered them promptly. Fourteen months later, my unit still can't be inhabited, my things are still stored there. Throughout, they have done a great job with the paperwork for me and the insurance company, saving me much aggravation. I strongly recommend them for remediating fire and smoke damage to textiles.

We had some items selected to have them rush them back to us. They picked up on a Friday, delivered the rush items on Monday morning!!! Very impressed. To add to this review I wanted to say that in all the confusion of this whole mess I am flying out Monday (12/9) to Tucson and I put my computer bag that I take with me in the textile stuff!!! Ugh. I couldn't believe I did that. BUT I contacted Hartford Cleaners Sunday late afternoon and explained the situation and Pennylynn replied immediately and said that they would do their best to find my computer bag... Of utmost concern was that I had my computer power cord in there and I didn't want it to get ruined. Monday morning when the gentleman dropped off our rush clothes, he had my computer bag!!! Thank you so much for your prompt, courteous and fantastic service!!!!

When I got there, it looked like a really outdated dry cleaners. Nothing like the website. This really isn't a big factor in the 1 star rating, just merely an observation. They could have been amazing and had a crappy looking store, but they weren't. So I go there to see about getting my bridesmaid skirt hemmed. I put it on and get it pinned. I ask how much it is going to be and she says over $100...!!!! yikes. That is a lot. I have no clue if that is normal or not, but my mom said it should only be around $50 dollars. So I just said I think that is too high for me and wanted to leave....but apparently there was a sign that said it was 15$ charge for just LOOKING at the piece.... I feel like I should have been verbally informed....like most companies do. Like..if a business wants to charge you extra for like food or something they say hey, this is gonna cost so much more $ and then you can agree with it or not. This place was just sneaky as hell. Like I spent 15 dollars for nothing. And they said that "time is money" ok...but you literally looked at my skirt for 2 minuets. Just...don't go here, ya'll.
