Mom's was always my go-to when I needed a little bit of 10 different spices for cooking/baking, and finding bulk spices is an amazing thing! While I couldn't think of what spices I might need for anything coming up, I knew I needed some pecans and they have those by the pound as well. I filled a bag with what I needed and had a great conversation at the register with Ben, who moved up here from the Philadelphia area (where he worked for the company). Friendly guy and easy to see why the company would want him here (sorry, Philly!!). The store is very bright, cheerful and spotless - everything a grocery store should be, but often is not. Lots of parking right out front and on the eastbound side of Route 9.

It has a dungeony feel and the layout makes no sense with the paper towel and air dryer literally 8 feet away from the sink. Having hooks on the bathroom door would be ideal for your jacket/purse/cloth grocery bags etc. Also they don't have gender neutral bathrooms yet, which I'm sure will have to be a major overhaul that every single person will appreciate. The staff I dealt with were friendly and personable which is almost unheard of at stop and shop so bonus points there for sure! It was not a hassle when I asked for a rain check and the person at the service desk was on break. Most Stop and Shops would say too bad you're not getting a rain check. Sad but true. They were redoing the gravel in the parking lot which made parking a bit difficult. And the actual customers going into shop are in a big rush and very rude. Says more to the townspeople rather than the store. But overall I would be back. Had most items I normally buy. Would just like an increase in their organic produce and natural foods section.

The order was then canceled, and I was told it was "held until 10 PM," which is completely illogical since I was physically there at 8 PM. This is a recurring pattern at this location. The process is disorganized, the staff communication is unreliable, and customers are left wasting their time. This store needs immediate management attention and a complete overhaul of its pickup operations.

While moving the line of carts, the employee accidentally struck my vehicle, causing scratches to it. Fortunately, the damage was limited to the bumper only. I believe employees handling large numbers of carts in the parking lot should exercise greater caution to help prevent similar incidents in the future.

I looked around for a fork because I wanted to dive into it in the parking lot, but that needed to wait until I got home. One minute through the self-checkout lane and I was off, and hurried home to get my sugar rush. It was delicious, and there was so much frosting that I didn't eat all of it (probably a first for me). After wandering the aisles, the prices seemed the same to me as those that I normally pay in Newton at Star Market, so I may need to pick up some actual food the next time I am driving by! The biggest disappointment was that there weren't enough fresh items (for a store called "Fresh Market"). The leafy greens section of the store was fairly sparsely populated. The market should work to find some local producers (or at least closer to MA) and educate shoppers on the importance of fresh vegetables. It's worth seeing how they develop the store once business starts running.
