Located inside Honor Farm Denver and Haunted Spirit House is Samosa Shop on 1526 Blake Street in Denver! As mentioned on my Instagram before Dave (shown in photos) was amazing! A big shout out to him and his whole team there for fun vibes and great food. It is Indian Fusion - we had lamb burger which was cooked perfectly, gluten free tenders .., which I love instead of bready it's real good chicken meat and was so so good ...with mango habenero sauce... which had just the right kick to it and we had samosa's dessert style... Kit Kat and s'mores... these almost give a warm cookie dough vibe to them and it was heavenly.... A little goes a long way lol! We can't wait to come back soon! Tucked inside honor farm in Downtown Denver, you'll find them, quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in the city. Why, you ask? 1. Everything is freaking delicious. 2. They're located in a super fun bar. 3. They're right below an awesome tiki bar 4. Did I mention they're delicious? I've been several times now (and visited them during their farmer's market season), and I've yet to try a bad dish. You can't go wrong here! What I ordered (over more than one visit): OG Samosa: potato, pea, dried fruit Chicken Tenders: original Vindaloo Chicken Birria Tacos: crispy roti, melted cheese, onion, cilantro, consommé Lamb Kebab Smashburger: zamosa sauce, fresh dill, American cheese Bombay Fries: disco style! Best bite: EVERYTHING here is amazing, but the Lamb Kebab Smashburger is on a whole other level. The zamosa sauce adds so much flavor, and the lamb kebab patty is an absolute smash. Been on my hit list for 8 months, vindaloo chicken Birria tacos 10/10 - as a Mexican his spice is on point and the tacos and filled to the brim and some. Amazing flavors. Lamb kebab smashburger / 10/10 wow! The depth of flavor is out of bounds. The lamb balances delicately with the cheese and sauce and the burger is so juicy and crispy at the same time. Definitely better than bodegas burger. Top 3 burger in town and it's a fusion burger! Bombay fries disco style - 10/10 / amazing crunch on the fries, sauce is perfect and cheesy as hell! Next time getting the mushroom dish and rest of the menu I fully expect chef Dave to be a James beard award winner in less than 12 months. Okay. I've had Chef Dave's Samosa's at the City Park Farmer's Market. I compare ALL of the samosa's I eat to Chef Dave's and NONE of them live up to the crispy, flavorful standard that makes a Samosa Shop samosa. If you haven't had one, then you haven't tasted the crunchy clouds in samosa heaven. Seriously, NONE compare. Okay, now that I'm done with my samosa rant... wait, he also has dessert samosas! If you want a cake pop in a samosa, or a kick of chocolate and marshmallow, you have to get one. Now I'm done! And honestly, that preamble sets the stage for everything else the Samosa Shop offers. Let's start with the Lamb Kebab Smashburger. This is how smashburgers are supposed to be! You know, the ones in commercials with oozing cheese that crisps perfectly on the grill with the smashed patties. Every bite makes you remember why you love burgers. I literally could not tell you if this was lamb or not; all I could tell you is that it's great and I'll be back for more! The Vindaloo Chicken Birria Tacos taste exactly how I want birria tacos to taste. Not full of grease and so dry that I have to soak it in sauce before you take a bit. These are crispy (roti is amazing!) and just perfectly cheesy. I almost stole them from my wife, but I was too busy making love to my smashburger. Let's turn our attention to the Mushroom Nuggets. Yes, I've confirmed it's sorcery. Order them. If you like crispy chicken nuggets with a little spice and a little sweet, this is it. Do not sleep on them! Finally, Bombay Fries are the bomb(ay). I'll see myself out. Let's get real for a moment. I came here thinking that Chef Dave had a fusion menu. It's not fusion. It's damn good food that crosses cultural boundaries with every dish. Chef Dave does it in a way that's so natural you wonder why no one else is doing this. P.S. Order yourself a mango lassi, you won't regret it. Went in on a slow Saturday afternoon, been trying to get to this place for months. Sat at a table and waited 5 minutes for someone to help me. There were only 2 other tables occupied, 2 employees behind the bar and 3 in the kitchen. After no one approached my table I walked back to the kitchen counter where there was another person waiting. Stood there for another 5 minutes and no one helped me. I turned and walked out. Went next door to Gaia Masala and ordered samosas. They were so good I ordered 2 more orders to take home. I also spoke with another table near mine and they were thoroughly enjoying their meal. I will try more than the samosas next time. I will never return to Samosa shop. read more

I went here with high expectations, none the less left disappointed. First off, I've been waiting for a special taco to be excited about on taco Tuesday but was disappointed when I arrived to learn that the loaded indo taco was switched to a skimpy vegan taco with not too much packed inside the taco. The flavor was good but truly nothing special. I had also been wanting to try the lamb burger that everyone was raving about but when the burger was brought to the table, it was mini version of what had been advertised (smaller bun, a lot less meat than advertised)to be the lamb burger. The burger had good flavor but I cand justify paying $16 for a burger when there are a lot better options out there. Finally, the samosa was good it had a little bit if flavor but I felt it was lacking the chicken sausage that was supposed to be inside. All in all I wouldn't recommend eating here, even if this place has peaked some of your interest. There are plenty of other food options in Denver that would be a lot more sensible to go to! read more
