The Mark sandwich
Caitlin M.

Good sandwich for not getting what we ordered! We got the Mark sandwich which is suppose to come hot but it was cold and NOT melted as stated in the listing. If you are at Sonny's avoid using the table QR codes to order. It took over 30 minutes for one sandwich. (We always have problems with the table ordering system in general so avoid it!) maybe our sandwich would have been hot if we went in to order it. Also our sandwich came with lettuce which wasn't listed in ingredients on the menu FYI. Overall, the bread and pork on the sandwich was very good! I would order here again if in the area and wanting a sandwich so definitely worth a try.

Sandwiches were wrong and the Coke was not included. Flavor was mid. Maybe going in person would be best, But delivering it is not great.

Great sandwiches, awesome staff and owners. Sourdough #1 and #2 are instant favorites. Great flavors and consistency.

The fries are crispy but not hard, the ratio of Rangoon is perfect and I eat them all, every time! I tried their grilled cheese which is a rotating assortment of cheeses and jams paired with a specific bread! This one was 6 different cheeses, blueberry lemon jam, on sour dough! Even though it may look like you made it yourself at home, the flavor was IMMACULATE! The jam pulls the sourdough and cheeses together perfectly! I want 6 more!

Really good and no regrets devouring these. They were so good that we want to try to recreate these at home--but that's going to be extremely difficult. The Croque Garson burger was really big and really messy (as expected). But I think the cook was having a bad day honestly. We asked for both burgers to be medium-rare because I didn't want it to be well done. I just wanted it under-done (I'm not that picky--any amount of pink or red would have been great with me). First, let me point out the good -- the egg was PERFECTLY cooked. The ham was delicious. The mustard and aioli were plentiful! The buns were fresh and toasted. But the beef? This is where the bad gets pointed out -- it was so overdone that I couldn't eat it. It had a nice crust on either side. But the inside was just about as dark. It's just a shame because this was some high quality beef. I took a doggy bag home so my pooches could have a nice snack. I ended up eating the egg and ham with the top half of the bun and all the messy mustard mayo goodness. But it was not a satisfying burger experience. Sad face.

I'm a big fan of rotisserie chicken, so I got it on a plate with rice, beans, and potatoes. They let me pick out two sauces as well, I got the BBQ and spicy garlic and both were wonderful! It was refreshing to walk away from a meal out and feel like I ate a semi-balanced meal (I opted for more carbs than most, but that's a personal preference ). Also I must add that the staff are amazing and kind. I went to put on the lid of my drink and entirely fumbled it, crushing my plastic cup full of lemonade that poured onto the floor and table...in embarrassment, I did what I could to clean, but realized I created a mess that would require more napkins than I could reasonably utilize. I notified the staff, as I apologized, and they were extremely kind and prompt in taking care of it. They made me feel like it was a normal occurrence (though I doubt to that proportion). Even with people like me coming through and making a mess, the establishment felt very clean and well-kept. Much more personality than a chain restaurant. Kudos on the fun chickens as decor!

This was located at Aksarben Village with a bunch of shops and restaurants nearby, but a cute little garden park area across the way. This was a big restaurant and got in less than hour before they closed. Inside is so spacious and had many plants inside for a cozy feel. We opted to take out though so we could eat outside on the picnic tables. The staff was so nice especially as they were gearing up to close down their stations. We ordered a family meal which whole chicken cut up and three sides (rice, potatoes, fries) and four sauces (garlic, chimichurri, bbq, and medium heat). Man, this was so good! The best sauce was really the garlic and medium heat. We will absolutely come back once we're in town again!

The restaurant itself played music and was very very clean!! Food itself was fresh but average. Wheat or white bread are the beginning options. Toasted to them means grilled, whereas a "cold cut" is still toasted bread. It's a good thing to know going into ordering decisions. I ordered the Italian sub and it was ok- I think it would've been better without the grill because the oils from the meat had soaked the bread. Boyfriend, C's Review: Service was prompt and professional. The restaurant itself was very cleaned and organized. Food made fresh although overhyped in my opinion. I ordered the club cold cut and it came out with the bread toasted and made it dry which we now know is their normal. I do not care for toasted sandwiches. With so many other sub sandwich places in Omaha this wouldn't be my go-to. It was nice to finally give this place a try! They do support Down Syndrome Adoption which is amazing and something I did not know before going into the restaurant!!
