Do not use! He has no ethics and cannot justify his work. Way, way overpriced. He should not be allowed to work in this state.

Home Electrical Solutions

Let me start off by saying that I recognize I live pretty far away from Atlanta. It takes me about…read morean hour to get downtown. I like big city amenities, but I live in the DEEP suburbs. So I'm used to having to compromise on service -- especially with things like plumbers and electricians. But I have a surprise for you: Home electrical solutions is a solid choice for an electrician. The setup ====== Sometime in late 2024, we had a wind storm in my neck of the woods and for some strange reason, several GFCI circuits tripped. So I went around the house and reset them all -- but there was one circuit that refused to come back on. Luckily it was just a few outlets, so it was a minor inconvenience. I lived without it for a few months. The call ====== But then I decided that living without my master bathroom outlets was a bit of a pain. So I decided to call an electrician. I had a bad experience with a previous electrician constantly trying to upsell me, so I took a moment to select a different one on Yelp. I reached out to Home Electrical Solutions, and Emil and I ended up chatting on the phone. It turns out he had a spot open that afternoon, so we made an appointment The cost ====== Emil was very up front about the cost: $170 for a trip charge and an hour of diagnostics. It seemed a little steep, but I was curious so I agreed. The service ====== When Emil came over, he was very courteous and professional. I took him to the circuit breaker panel and showed him the outlets that didn't seem to be working in the house. What ensued was a 30 minute adventure where Emil showed off his problem solving skills. Let's just say that you don't have to be worried that his prices are too high -- he's worth every penny. He discovered that the problem was actually a loose connection in an outlet in the NEXT ROOM. I know, I know -- I wouldn't have believed it either, if I wasn't there following him around. The guy is good at his job. Summary ====== If you have need of an electrician, Emil is your guy. Not only do we have power in our master bathroom outlets again, but I have a deeper understanding of the circuits in my own house because Emil took the time to chat with me. When I need an electrician again, I know who I'm going to call.

Emil was wonderful and his quote was the best of multiple we received. He put in 40+ recessed…read morelights including several tricky ones on cathedral/pitched ceilings. He also changed out our bathroom fans, fixed 3-way light switches, took down a really high and bulky chandelier, and a host of other issues. Emil is part electrician, part surgeon. He creates the smallest amount of damage possible to the ceiling, making it easier for the sheet rockers after him- in some rooms he got 4 lights in there with only 1 hole beyond the ones that the lights actually went into! See pics. He would drill 1-3 holes and use tools to thread wires through rather than cutting the length of the wire along the wall. Then he would drill the hole of sheetrock he cut right back where he took it from. I'm dragging my feet on getting a sheet rocker bc the residual "damage" is not that noticeable.
