Due to character limits on Yelp reviews, I am not able to post the full review. But you can post pictures, so I will post a shortened review along with screen shots of my Facebook review if anyone is interested in reading it the full story) In short, please do not use this company. They replaced our electrical panel and since then we have spent over $1k fixing what was (suddenly and mysteriously according to the owner) broken after the panel was replaced. Below is the list of things that have either had to be replaced or had to be fixed. For the full story (it's a novel) check the screenshots. 2x surge protectors (replaced) 1x light switch (owner fixed, begrudgingly) 1x outlet (owner fixed, begrudgingly) 1x dryer**** ****After replacing the dryer which was delivered yesterday (9/2/20 proof in pics) we have discovered that it is the outlet that the dryer is plugged into that doesn't work. We still replaced the dryer but apparently we didn't need to. When the owner came out to look at the old dryer, HE NEVER CHECKED THE OUTLET, JUST TOLD US THE DRYER WENT BAD. Please use another company, this one has caused us nothing but headache and empty wallets.

The business owner, Jan Rossouw, gave me a reasonable estimate for both the surge protector (an Eaton CHSPT2ULTRA) and the install.

They have not steered me wrong yet, from windshield replacement to HVAC Yelp has put me in touch with the best services in my area! After my wife called the builders list and a few others with no response I stopped what I was doing and went straight to my trusty Yelp app. I found Mr Value right away with 4.5 stars and called them directly. Not even 5 seconds into the recorded message the nicest young woman answered the phone. Pleasant and professional, listening carefully to our problem. She told us someone would be contacting us shortly and they actually did! One of our smoke detectors was non stop beeping. We had replaced the batteries several different ways and times. The poor dogs were freaked out. We could not figure it out. They said they were pretty booked up but would definitely fit us in between 2-6pm same day! I received a text not too long after that David would be contacting me shortly with an ETA. David called about 2 minutes after that text to let me know that he was on his way and showed up shortly after at 11:30am well before our original window and probably not too much more that an hour and a half after my initial call. David diagnosed our problem right away and gave us several options. He did not have the part we needed but drove to the hardware store over 3 miles away at no additional charge! He returned and fixed the problem lickety split! Nice and professional the entire time. I loved everything about working with this company. The constant communication, genuine concern for us, friendly and professional from the first contact and all the way through. I don't know much about how things are charged in this industry but thought it was a bit off to charge just over $200 to install a $40 part but I'm glad that they were able to help us so quickly and professionally. I will definitely call them again and recommend to anyone.

Electrician arrived, was knowledgeable, but the "van isn't stocked with 30 amp GE breakers" so needed to get them at a big box retailer. (Yes, really.) Came back without packaging for purchased breakers, which cost about $40 each, retail. He replaced two. The company charged $159. EACH. Said the price of the part includes labor, etc. One of those kinds of businesses - not transparent with their pricing, which is not the fault of the electrician. Can't recommend.

Let me start off by saying that I recognize I live pretty far away from Atlanta. It takes me about…read morean hour to get downtown. I like big city amenities, but I live in the DEEP suburbs. So I'm used to having to compromise on service -- especially with things like plumbers and electricians. But I have a surprise for you: Home electrical solutions is a solid choice for an electrician. The setup ====== Sometime in late 2024, we had a wind storm in my neck of the woods and for some strange reason, several GFCI circuits tripped. So I went around the house and reset them all -- but there was one circuit that refused to come back on. Luckily it was just a few outlets, so it was a minor inconvenience. I lived without it for a few months. The call ====== But then I decided that living without my master bathroom outlets was a bit of a pain. So I decided to call an electrician. I had a bad experience with a previous electrician constantly trying to upsell me, so I took a moment to select a different one on Yelp. I reached out to Home Electrical Solutions, and Emil and I ended up chatting on the phone. It turns out he had a spot open that afternoon, so we made an appointment The cost ====== Emil was very up front about the cost: $170 for a trip charge and an hour of diagnostics. It seemed a little steep, but I was curious so I agreed. The service ====== When Emil came over, he was very courteous and professional. I took him to the circuit breaker panel and showed him the outlets that didn't seem to be working in the house. What ensued was a 30 minute adventure where Emil showed off his problem solving skills. Let's just say that you don't have to be worried that his prices are too high -- he's worth every penny. He discovered that the problem was actually a loose connection in an outlet in the NEXT ROOM. I know, I know -- I wouldn't have believed it either, if I wasn't there following him around. The guy is good at his job. Summary ====== If you have need of an electrician, Emil is your guy. Not only do we have power in our master bathroom outlets again, but I have a deeper understanding of the circuits in my own house because Emil took the time to chat with me. When I need an electrician again, I know who I'm going to call.

Emil was wonderful and his quote was the best of multiple we received. He put in 40+ recessed…read morelights including several tricky ones on cathedral/pitched ceilings. He also changed out our bathroom fans, fixed 3-way light switches, took down a really high and bulky chandelier, and a host of other issues. Emil is part electrician, part surgeon. He creates the smallest amount of damage possible to the ceiling, making it easier for the sheet rockers after him- in some rooms he got 4 lights in there with only 1 hole beyond the ones that the lights actually went into! See pics. He would drill 1-3 holes and use tools to thread wires through rather than cutting the length of the wire along the wall. Then he would drill the hole of sheetrock he cut right back where he took it from. I'm dragging my feet on getting a sheet rocker bc the residual "damage" is not that noticeable.
