When I asked repeatedly for mri results and ultimately desperate for help this monster had the nerve to respond with a curt text telling me to not text him, apparently it was his "personal" cell. NOT a word to me about the medical crisis my husband was experiencing. Had to get results of the MRI directly from imaging center and find a new doctor. Not only dealing with the TBI my darling husband is suffering from but also dealt with the nonsense this guy put us through for months. 5 stars must be bots. It took 3 months to get into see him for consultation but we'll worth the wait! My husband was only 40 at the time and after going over his imaging and history he suggested something much different than what Dr. Grossman at SCOI wanted to do to him! (3 discectomies & fusion) holy crap! Dr. Taban said "absolutely not! You're young and healthy...You'll be back in 10 yrs for more surgery!" His recommendations were clearly what my husband needed and we scheduled his surgery w/Taban-had to wait 3 months for the date (that's how busy he is) but again we'll worth to wait! When Dr. Taban got going on the surgery he found that one of my husband's disks had ruptured, and that definitely explained why he was in so much more pain... So he cleaned up all the fragments as well as the bulges and said, there was plenty of disc remaining. No need to remove them. He also performed a Foraminotomy, and a laminectomy, as well as drilled the holes wider for the nerve roots to flow freely through. My husband was a new man within a week! Dr. Taban is amazing! My husband has been doing wonderful ever since-20 years later. He still has some soreness that he has to deal with and does see a chiropractor sometimes. We learned so much through this, and we're so grateful that we found this Dr. Taban. Do not let anyone touch your spine unless they're a neurosurgeon! Even if they're a "spine specialist" don't waste your time! Go to a neurosurgeon. Highly recommend Dr. Taban! P.S. At his office, in the lobby there's lots of reading material available which consists of hundreds of letters from patients thanking him and I can't remember how many of those letters were from people who were hacked by a different doctor and we're coming to Dr. Taban to fix/clean up their mess!

He took the time to personally review all of my son's X-rays and provide thoughtful feedback, which gave us so much confidence that we were in good hands. A few days later, my son's splint from urgent care got wet, and I texted Dr. Ahdoot to ask what we should do. He immediately told us to come in, took care of the issue right away, and even put my son in a cast to make sure he was properly protected. From start to finish, Dr. Ahdoot was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, kind, and easy to work with. He made what could have been a stressful situation feel so simple and reassuring. Dr. Andersson is a pleasant Doctor, although I did not feel that he took the time to explain things as well as I would have expected, and seemed to brush off a lot of my concerns. When I would ask something for clarification, he would remark that he had "already explained that to me". After comparing this visit to another Neurologist (whom I saw after) and finding out more information about my condition (as well as the new Neuro reviewing my MRI's WITH me), I realized I wasn't that happy with my experience here, overall. It was definitely not the worst experience with a Doctor's office, but I am unsure if I will return to see him. Maybe he is not the right fit for me, but possibly for another patient :)

I have never had to deal with a more unprofessional, least attentive and more UNSYMPATHETIC neurologist in my entire life. To sum it up - I had a very traumatic experience that led me to fall on my face, end up in the ER, end up with stitches in my forehead and a splint on my wrist. All due to medication that he provided me and no information on side effects before taking it. So... due to his lack of communication(which is a norm for him) on my way to the ER I called his office, no answer. Then called again to only have his front desk say we will relay your message. This happen 3 more times, which resulted in me calling 5 times, while I am in an emergency situation and my neurologist who knows of my epilepsy condition has still not returned my call. Finally the NEXT DAY, I call AGAIN and the front desk woman says oh yes, he should be calling you. I find out Dr. Scharf is on vacation. He has no on call doctor, no emergency line to reach out. Nothing. He says he will send my records over so I can get in to see someone. That didn't happen. I had to figure it out all on my own. And still, 3 and half weeks later - I have still not heard from him. So, if you want a neurologist who ACTUALLY cares, takes the time to pick up the phone, tell u about the side effects and remember your medical history - DO NOT go to Dr. David Scharf.

I went to another doctor for a medical condition with my colon. After months of his trial and error…read moremy condition had not improved. That doctor wanted to do a colonoscopy and an endoscopy at the same time in his office/clinic, which he owned, and refused to do only a colonoscopy. There are risks involved with both procedures especially if you have a condition with your colon as I had. This is why in my opinion this procedure shouild be done in a surgury center or full service hospital. I then went to see Dr. Headrick. Dr. Headrick diagnosed and cured me in two weeks. He did a gentle colonoscopy in the surgury center, not in some Dr's office. I was a happy boy! Thank You Dr. Headrick!

I can tell you unequivocally, Dr. Nevo is the most caring, kind, personable, and understanding doctors that I've ever seen. He has gone out of his way to learn about conditions that I have that he wasn't up-to-date on, so that he could treat me more effectively and unlike many doctors he is not only willing to admit if he doesn't know something, but he is willing to do the work to learn if it's within his scope of support. If something isn't within his scope of support, he is always happy and eager to offer a referral. Because of all my medical conditions and doctors appointments and treatments, I have CPTSD and one of the most amazing things about Dr. Nevo is that he not only treats your body, but also your mind. He understands how intricately linked physical pain and your mental state can be. Finding a doctor that takes into consideration and understands the mental turmoil that pain causes and how it relates to the physical aspect of things is very, very rare indeed. Because of my myriad health conditions, I know that I am not seeing Dr. Nevo for any sort of "cure" however I can tell you that he has provided me with a sense of medical security, peace of mind that I am in good hands and the knowledge that he will do everything in his power to help me find any sort of relief. Unfortunately, scheduling an appointment with his office is extremely frustrating. Trying to get in touch with his staff requires jumping through endless hoops. Calls are routed to an AI voice agent that doesn't return messages, and online bookings resulted in off-hours texts that immediately triggered automated "office closed" replies when I responded. After days of unreturned voicemails, I finally reached Dr. Nevo via email to secure an appointment. This required me to rearrange my work schedule. The day of the appointment, it was canceled last-minute. When they offered a slot for the next day, I asked for a quick phone call to confirm since I was at work. His assistant stopped replying entirely. Because I have been in severe pain the past few weeks, I agreed to the new time out of desperation via email just so I wouldn't lose the slot. I talked to my boss to readjust my schedule. But I never received a reply. Dr. Nevo is a fantastic doctor, but I am deeply disappointed with his staff and the experience I had when scheduling appts. I was going to refer all my running friends to see him, but after this experience I definitely won't.
