Worst place to go. My friend had a filling here and after a year the filling came off. As for me I got my root canal here and the doctor didn't clean the infection all the way. I went to my own dentist and got the crown in. A year later after the infection came back on that same tooth. My doctor adviced me to get the root canal on that same tooth. So they had to redo the root canal again. which I have To pay double the price. This is the worst clinic ever. Save your money and go somewhere else. It's a waste of time and money for me and I'm very disappointed. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I made an appointment to fix where my tooth had broken and the nerve was exposed. I was in severe pain and went in to my appointment and they told me the system was down and they are unable to verify my insurance and I would need to pay out of pocket. I could not afford the treatment I needed... I told them I could show them on the insurance website or call to prove my coverage but it was a dental emergency and I'm pregnant so I was very much worried about my unborn baby. I meant it wasn't my fault their system was down, they sent me a text message reminder 15 mins prior to my appointment and they couldn't take the time out of their day to call me and tell me they were unable to verify my insurance I had already provided? This was after driving 45 minutes to get there. The lady at the front desk showed NO remorse. Pretty much laughed in my face and demanded money or I was out of luck. I found a different place thankfully that was able to verify my insurance in a back up way and did my emergency root canal. They are a joke and the blonde at the front desk needs a new job not dealing with people because I left bawling my eyes out from the way they treated and spoke to me. Went there two years ago and it was awesome. Very kind and welcoming. I left there a few hours ago and I will never go back. The receptionist was amazing, the check in nurse was amazing. The dentist basically talked down to me and treated me like garbage and tried to charge me 554 dollars for 3 fillings. The x ray was 100 bucks so 454 bucks. All because I mentioned the fourth cavity. Originally it was 334. So how does it go from that to 554 for one extra that wasn't that bad. She told me it would probably fall out since it was close to my gum line and I don't need it done. If that's true then why do any cavities need worked on. I felt like I was garbage to her and it took her 45 minutes to come see me after she said she would have to go next for for a second.. Even though I was her only patient at the time. I think she just wanted to make a quick buck. 554 bucks exact. I told the checkout nurse I will pay the xray but not for the service since I should've taken my dad's advice and go e to a better one. My tooth just hurts and I thi k she was trying to take advantage of me. Saying I have 4 bad cavities on one tooth but doesn't want to extract it I case we have to do a route canal and a crown. This is why I literally hate going to the dentist. These price gouges. And the no insurance discount seems so great for 554 bucks. I will never ever even go to greenwood anymore because it seems this is what people become out there. So self centered they need 554 dollars on a simple extraction to make their life meaningful. read more

I made appointment for significant tooth pain and it was available on weekend. I showed up 10 minutes before appointment because I knew I'd have paper work to complete. When I arrived, they informed me they were "a little behind". I didn't think too much of it cause I figured I'd have to wait a little due to it being a weekend and the type of office it was. After filling out paperwork they told me there was two people ahead of me so it wouldn't be too much longer. I waited over two hours and in that time they had taken 5 people back and another had come in and cancelled who's appointment was before mine. When I approached the desk to see what was going on the receptionist then informed me it would be another 45min to an hour. She said they just did shift change and don't know what happened. Staff were nice but the lack of communication is kind of ridiculous. I get it. It's a weekend. There's gonna be a wait. But the lack of courtesy cost them mine, my wife's, and 4 kids business. My husband came here for extractions on a few teeth. We had already been to the other location in Avon previously the night before. After waiting and being seen that took an hour and a half only to have the dentist want to reschedule him because he was the last patient of the night and they were completely lazy! So we rescheduled thinking that the Greenwood location would be a better fit. We couldn't have been more wrong! His appointment was at 9am. We arrived at 850am. He was taken back immediately. However, I waited until 12:21pm to inquire how much longer it was going to be and had not said a word to them until then and the front office staff rolled her eyes and proceeded with attitude! Telling me it takes 1hr and a half to take full effect. This would have been around 10am ish. Its is now almost 1:00pm and they have not even started on him!! We have excellent Dental coverage as well and was asked to pay ahead of time! Fair warning... Do yourself a favor and take your money and time elsewhere!! read more

So I had been in terrible tooth pain for 2 weeks, but I hadn't told anyone about it because, you know, dentist. But finally on a Sunday at 6pm, I realized I couldn't handle it anymore. I came home, looked at my fiancé, and said "I need to go to a dentist". We found this gem on the Google machine and I figured it was worth a shot. The office is very clean and professional looking. They are walk-in only but my wait wasn't terrible. It probably just felt long because I was in pain. After the wait, I had a very nice dental assistant, whose slight stutter just added to his charm, take my vitals and X-rays. Then the doctor came in after about 10 mins and told me that not only was the tooth that was hurting me coming out, but he was gonna go ahead and take care of that wisdom tooth too. See why I fear dentists?!? But this dentist was different. He reminded me of Mickey Mouse, if Mickey Mouse was a dentist. He made sure a was REALLY numb and the whole thing was done in 2 minutes. I walked out only $100 poorer and with some nice painkillers on top of it. So, it suffice to say I will be going back to the quirky Doctor and his magical crew! read more

Please do not trust what the front office prints out for you as far as billing. they handed me a slip showing what portion I owed and made me pay it before treatment. I asked more than once is this what I owe and was told yes, your insurance is paying the rest (as printed out on the statement handed to me). Two weeks later I received a bill in the mail for almost $900.00. When I called their office, the office manager said what I was given was just an estimate. A $900.00 short estimate!!!!!!! Having called ahead and told to take my time ( I had told them I lived out of town ) there was an hour wait I'm still sitting here after nearly 3 hours .... Most people going to an emergency dentist on a weekend are in pain .Not that hard to figure that one out .I came here with only the intention of getting an anti-biotic no treatment and had told the person who answered my call that I was hoping to get a prescription for that....Had I have known it would have been like this I would have stayed in town and went to the emergency room for this.... I gave it 1 star only because I couldn't continue without rating it. Thought I might make this my new dentist with the availability to be seen on weekends (I'm gone Mon thru Fri for work ) but that is not going to happen now sorry to say ...................... Part 2 after being seen I went 3 stars the staff was excellent and treatment time was very quick ended up having an extraction .... Barring the far longer wait time than I was told it would be I would give 5 stars ... I would make this my new practice if I felt good that I could go in and be seen in a reasonable amount of time .... read more

I really was not satisfied going here at all.I actually had an appointment at the Southport Road clinic for Monday but because I got so bad overnight and in my face & my throat were very badly swollen & the pain was horrible so my friend was worried & he talked me into going here.Not a great choice.That was Sunday I had my tooth pulled I still am badly swollen & I did get antibiotics but no pain medication that works.I got antihistamines I toled them it's not working they DO NOT CARE! I wish I could sleep without waking up on pain this is day 3! My granddaughter has a special choir at 7pm tonight I will have a huge headache & loads of pain & a swollen face but I love her so I'm going.I paid $300 to have a tooth pulled pain medication to help till the swelling & pain go away would have been reasonable but thanks for nothing!!! Next time I wait till Monday like I planned because I've had good experiences On Southport Road but it's to late now.Just thought I would warn others. read more

Horrible experience to say the least. Went in for wisdom tooth extraction and the doctor was so rough, treated me like an animal and I thought he was going to break my jaw from prying my teeth out. Before that, I waited in the waiting room 4.5 hours!! He numbed me at 10:30pm and I didn't get work started until midnight!!! I was told I would feel pressure but no pain, bull$/&@! I felt everything and every time I told him it hurt he kept shooting shots in my mouth. Over 15-20 shots!!! I was crying in horrible pain. After everything finally removed I went to get my prescriptions filled and they sent my medicine to the wrong pharmacy!! Then I get home and feel like my face is broken. I had my boyfriend look to see how it was healing after a few days after having them removed and he said their was a thick, deep gash near my front teeth. Idk how or why that gash came about but it definitely needed stitched up and they left it open and it ended up getting infected so I go back to see why I'm still in massive pain the SAME doctor tells me it's just an infection and sent me home with antibiotics.. they don't hand out scrips they call them in so I wasn't exactly sure of I was prescribed. I get to the pharmacy and it's only antibiotics!!!! I'm not the type to take meds period but I needed that pain medicine to help relieve some of this constant pain I'm in. I call back and they send out ibeprofen 600 mg!!! Are you serious? After you took a chunk out of my mouth and just leave me be. I was heated!! Never again will I go back there. Poor staff, they don't care about you or your feelings. They just want your money and that's it. The work was horrible and I've had my wisdom teeth out for almost a month and still in horrible pain because the doctor didn't do his job right! I had to go to another Dentist and have them fix what they messed up! I don't recommend this place to ANYONE!! I'm not sure why all the good reviews because my sister in law went in here too and wasn't happy with them either so enter at your own risk. read more

Dentist was very unfriendly. He did not wait for the numbing jelly before sticking me with the needle. Did his job and left with even saying anything. The billing showed a credit but it is a false credit that doesnt get applied to anything according to them. Just there to mess with you. I was told I was getting a copy of everything I signed. Which I was under the impression I did. I was told I was to call my payments in. However, after calling in the 2nd payment, a 3rd payment was withdrawn from my account without my permission. Thankfully I only had to make 4 payments and I am done with them. I will stick to a real practice that has to care about their patients in order to keep their practice going. Ladies in the office were nice and seemed to care, but past that, I perfer to stick with a doctor that cares and billing that isn't wacky. Had it not been an emergency, I would have waited. I don't usually write reviews. Having said that I am writing today to let everyone know that the dentist we saw today was rough. We went in for an extraction. My husband has been dealing with the pain from his tooth for close to a year and he finally let me talk him into going to a dentist. We chose this one because it was close and we knew we could make it home before the snow hit. I checked in online and we got there 12 minutes before his appointment at 10:58am. The receptionist was wonderful. We did have a while to wait first out front then he waited a looong time in back. I was pleased they let me come back with him to make sure that he was understood by the dentist and that he understood the dentist (my husbands first language is not English). We paid for the extraction and waited. He waited in back for two hours while I waited in front. Then finally he came out. I went up to the receptionist to ask about his prescriptions I assumed an antibiotic, which he did not receive, and a painkiller. I wanted to double check what they were cause I remembered that a painkiller gives him headaches, turned out to be the one they gave him, which I did not find out until we were at the cvs in the middle of the snow making the roads go to heck. Anyway, the receptionist told me she could not see what was sent to the pharmacy because he was sending it then so we left. I later learned as I indicated above that they sent the one painkiller that gives him headaches and is actually contraindicated for pain from teeth. Then my husband tells me he is hurting really bad and the roads are now to bad for me to even be able to go back and ask them to change the prescription plus he tells me this dentist was really rough on the pulling of the tooth itself. I am sure this has led to worse pain. He took one of the pills even though he knew it would give him a headache because he was hurting so bad and i am very disappointed. I had read such good reviews of this place and was so hopeful he would have a good experience. He needs more work done and with our schedules this would have been ideal. The receptionist got the two stars in this review. I hope she is told that. read more
