My review of Larry's Transmissions in Cole Camp, Missouri (update: because of this post reaching so…read moremany people in the local community, these cowards have blocked me to attempt to shield themselves from public scrutiny) Oh where to begin... First off, I'd like to start by saying I should've done my due diligence in researching this company (such as it is, if you could even call this clown show a "company") before I decided to take (based solely on the recommendation of my son's coworker and who later turned out to be just as sketchy as THIS place. Birds of a feather and all that implies) my son's truck to him. They accused us of taking out our own transmission and custom painting it, and putting torque marks, you know the little gel pens that you use to mark bolts & nuts with to make sure that they're torqued, and they can't be removed or It breaks the seal. None of which EVER happened. And, having the oil changed at a Ford dealership, and being pointed out, the leaks coming from the transmission by the dealership, does not constitute anything remotely close to what we were being accused of by Larry's transmission. Now we even admitted that my son had to put about a quart of transmission fluid back into the transmission because of said leaking. My son, the owner of the truck, is on the spectrum (thanks for taking advantage of a handicapped individual btw, real winners y'all are) and doesn't know how to talk to people very well and gets taken advantage of very easily. We had this truck service not even a year ago and spent $1900 for a rebuild when we only thought it was the clutch And we have it on recording where he told me & my son that there was a two-year warranty unlimited no questions asked. Hence why we took it back to him about a month ago. Yesterday we were first contacted by his son Chris Agee, who proceeded to make the accusations and cussed us out, and I simply told him it wasn't true, and that the only people that had touched the transmission were them then he hung up on me. so I called back and got a hold of the owner his father, Larry Agee, who proceeded to call me several explicit slanders and a "fucking liar", and then hung up on me. So I had to make the trek of about an hour & a half from Carrollton, Mo. to Cole Camp to find out what was going on And even called the Benton County Sheriff's Office to assist with keeping the peace.. When we arrived, we got there before the sheriff's office and we're trying to have a civil conversation when all of a sudden Larry comes outside and starts yelling and screaming cussing us, threatening to sue because we had made contact with a few of his previous customers, all of which had very poor experiences with this gentleman and I use that term gentleman loosely with this guy. These people not only cut out my sons exhaust system, but they took apart the transmission and then tossed it into the back of my son's truck (see attached photos and video) and refused to put it back together or warranty the vehicle. Never in my whole life have I ever seen a company try to weasel out of a warranty claim until this guy. His warranty is about as worthless as single-ply toilet paper. I'm sure some people have had some luck with this guy. I'm sure they've left some decent reviews. But I also think that most of those reviews could be bought and paid for or they came from in-house. The moral of the story is, if you don't want to get scammed, then, don't waste your money coming to this place. I would highly advise going to a reputable institution to have your vehicle and transmission serviced. We anticipate litigation in the near future to recover the cost of the repairs that are going to have to be done, and for the court cost and the towing costs. We will continue to update this review as further developments happen. And if the owner tries to come on here and make a different claim, I would highly advise he not because we recorded every conversation, including the one that happened yesterday at his property with the sheriffs office.

Couldnt get a simple th400 rebuilt correctly i returned 2 of them and the 3rd actually worked but…read moredidn't last but a couple drives before it lost 3rd. yeah they warranty it but at $100 in fluid and me doing all the install and removal plus having to drive back and forth while they practice rebuilding transmissions then they told me to bring truck to them no way am I gonna let them touch my truck I asked for my money back but they dont do business that way I guess rather me leave a bad review well I'm out a $1000 don't trust them
