I called them on a Thursday based on a recommendation from someone It was a huge mistake. The secretary said they could work on my car the next day. This should have been a red flag. Most mechanics are too busy to do repairs right away. The place I get my oil changed said that I should get rear brake pad replacements. They also suggested replacing the rollers on my sliding doors on my minivan. One of my doors was not working but the other side worked. The next day I received a call that my vehicle was ready to pick up and it would be $965. No one called me with an estimate. Turns out they replaced my rear rotors without prioir authorization. They insisted that they had called and I hadn't answered. I showed the owner the call log on my phone with NO calls from them. Next he said that I had been in a hurry to get the car back. I never said I was in a hurry, we have multiple cars. He stated that the parts were so expensive because they had to get them right away. When I expressed my dissapointment over the lack of communication and extremely high price, the owner threatened to tear my car apart, take out all the new parts and give the car back to me. Mind you, I was standing there ready to pay with the money in hand. I took the car home and the next day discovered that my doors weren't working on either side. On Monday the secretary called and said they would be refunding $200 due to the miscommunication over them not giving an estimate. I told her about the door not working. She said to bring it in as soon as possible and they would fix it. My husband took it in 2 days later and when we got it back not only would the door not shut, the handle was now broken and wires were hanging out. They charged $400 to replace the rollers on the doors. Now, not only do both doors not work, but the door that worked when I dropped the car off is now completely broken. The door handle is broken and there was nothing wrong with it when I dropped the car off at their shop. Their suggestion was that I needed to just reach inside and open the door from the inside handle. When I dropped off the minivan, I could push the button on the dash and the door would slide open and shut. After it was "fixed", the button no longer worked. The repair shop claimed that the motor was burned out and they could not hook it up or the door would not work. They also claimed that my door was not working when I dropped it off ( it most definitely was working). In addition to the handle being broken and the motor mysteriously being suddenly burned out, the door will not close, wires are hanging out, and I can no longer lock the car because the door won't shut. I called to try and work this problem out, but the owner was super rude and told me that if I brought the car back in for them to fix what they had broken, I would need to pay them to repair what they had broken. Long story short, if you do let these people work on your car, which I do not recommend, be sure and document the state of your car so when they damage it you will have proof. Also, absolutely insist on a written estimate. Needless to say, I am getting another mechanic to fix their mistakes.
